General | Posted 12 years agoSooner or later I'll be coming back to FA. Haha, I'm here aren't I? Well, I've been busy with work and life that I'm going to take a little bit of time to watch Chobits (YAY!) and do some drawing.

I will no longer be drawing past this commission I'm working on. I refuse commissions from now on and not be entering any contests or trades. Freebies are banned and I will give heads up if I'm leaving FA.
Reason why I'm doing this: People who I look up to saying one Ing to my face and then turning around and saying some I harshly different. I'm not the best artist, I was improving, it was my life, but I no longer have the heart to keep drawing at the moment. It was stupid of me to enter something that I put my soul into at the time and it being called trash. I know I get discourage easily, but it was someone I respected and liked. I am currently protecting them from a few harsh punishments that may occur since the drama has been drawn out for so long, someone or a few people will not be welcomed to a group anymore.
Its not like I had any other commissions anyways, so it wasn't a huge choice.

General | Posted 12 years agoSo I got laid off at my job and I haven't been working for about a month and a half due to economic reasons. Well, I also "survive" (more like pay my paycheck to my parents for rent) off of my military earnings. I get 250$ a month and I pay my parent's 240$ of it...
Well, now I'm kind of starving, trying to scrape up change for my friends so they can eat and figure out how the hell I'ma get gas.
Oh, and save up for college and insurance at the same time!
I finally have a commission! But I had to put half of the pay into my savings for insurance and the other half for gas/food. I'm applying EVERYWHERE except the job that laid me off. I have to quit the gym (like I went anyways) and apologize to my friends that I can't help them.
I'm in need of donations and emergency commissions!! I tried streams! I tried everything! (Nothing is working!) It doesn't help that I'm sick and might have to go to the dentist because my Wisdom teeth are finally coming in... Painfully.

General | Posted 12 years agoWell, I want everyone to know I'm working on the free sketchs now that I have my tablet back (Yay!) from my aunt's after leaving it at her house when I was puppy sitting and didn't realize it was there until AFTER I had posted the journal.
And my explanation for any future depressing posts that I do I'm sorry. I finally had enough with my mate, we've been together for over 2 1/2 years, but recently we've "tried" to make it work. Or as I see it, I have. We have grown apart over the last six months and I didn't realize it until I got drunk for my 21st and tried to shake it off for these past few weeks. And then Saturday I got Buzzed and realized I can't handle it much more.
I've given a lot of my time and energy being worried how am I going to fix something that has to be compromised but a lot of it is going to make me miserable? He doesn't accept a lot of me now and what he says no longer stings - it hurts.
He's not the bad guy, I have my problems too. But because of some physical issue (IE my back) I can't play in the highland games or work out like he does. We grew up differently too, and now that I turned 21 it's become apparent how much different.
It hurts to realize this, there will be a lot of depressing pictures (again). Sorry! 2 1/2 years is a lot to over come but I know it's not the end of the world. Sometimes people wake up not in love the same way anymore. It's really tough so I'm just asking for a little bit of patience as I waddle through my heart and find that thread again to sew up. I'm going to need some more, and replacement parts for the big chunk he's taken, but that's what plastic surgery is for. Hehe

~People who donate will get bumped in the list depending on how much they donate.
~Every dollar donated will be a spot moved up. You can only move up five spots.
~Donators will get shading as well as nicer text if wanted put in.

Now I just have to wear a different one for Court and it won't be as fun like dressing up and giggling like a kid. The first expensive dress I buy in a long time that almost gave my friend a heart attack is now out of my reach... *sighs*

If you ask Pix about what I wear, it doesn't include dresses. And I bet she could only find one picture of any dress and none of them are above 20$ even WITH tax.
This was 58$ (The dress was 50$ and the 8$ was shipping and handling without tracking). I almost paid the extra 45$ for it to be shipped in 3-5 days, so it would be around 100$. And this was for a special occasion for a friend! I don't dress u nicely for just anyone! If someone told me it was a formal event, for me, formal is nice jeans and a nice shirt. Unless it's military.
I had to ask for a refund and now I wait for a confirmation e-mail saying you get your money back... I never even saw my dress in my hands. And now I won't, I have bills to pay for next month and I don't have work until I don't know when... And I wish for commissions but I don't think I'll have the money in time.
Oh well right? Today was a fun one and I'm going to try and look at this positively! It's just a dress... ^^;

General | Posted 12 years agoSo finally I feel like I belong to a world of wonder in Amtgard. I've always wanted to join it, watching from the sidelines like a greedy, little tiger cub would upon a prey but not feeling ready quite just yet... And then BAM! I'm in the middle of everything.
Well, I've hit pretty high and I'm just starting out. A lot of people are interested in me and I guess they're wondering what I will blossom into. Possibly become a disappointment and become one of the "Lowers" or a "Mid". But sadly, even I didn't expect this, I want to become a power player. One that a lot of people would look to see what would happen next.
I have to act the part and start looking like it, especially at court. So I need several things for court and I don't have the money for! I'm not asking for birthday presents, but just commissions.

General | Posted 12 years agoWell, if my cries for commissions is on blind eyes, I'm doing traditional arts again (Which I draw better.) They're going to be the same price as my media ones. Maybe a little less, depending on the complexity or the simplicity. I haven't had any PAID commissions in a very long time, so I have no real motivation to stay on here much longer. I have sketches I owe people, but I haven't been able to get to them because of lack of motivation of personal, financial and other reasons.
I might do a donation stream to possibly get a scanner and a laminater. I got a laminater last night but it doesn't turn on. So I have to return it and save up for the more expensive one. I was thinking of possibly having a pre-order sale to help out, but no response. I tried raffles, and everything I can think of. I really would love to post my traditional art here without a scanner, but the camera on my phone SUCKS.
I haven't had commissions for a long time and I don't know why. Not harshing on anyone, but I see people who have shakier lines get commissions more then I do. But if trying to get a scanner/laminator falls through I'm deleting my account and moving on. I'll miss your guy's art and all the people I met here, but I'm tired of being disappointed. I really do have reasons for why I'm doing these commissions other then for fun stuff. *shrugs*Hello World
