What am I doing?
Posted 7 years agoI made this account to keep my babyfur interests separate from my main account. Partly it's out of consideration for the people watching me there that aren't into babyfur. But the other reason is that part of me is ashamed of my babyfur side. When I get ahold of and use diapers it's fun and arousing in the moment, but afterwards I very often feel ashamed and disgusted with myself, like an addict trying and failing to stay clean. I'll often buy a pack, use one or two, and throw the rest away. I like diapers, but I hate the fact that I do. If I could get rid of this fetish I would. That's part of the reason I've made so little progress on my stories.
The weird thing is, at the same time, I feel no shame in being a furry or being into TF. The only thing I don't like about being into TF is that it can't actually happen. I'm even open about being a furry with a couple people I know IRL, but not about this.
I'll finish this by saying that this doesn't mean I think poorly of other babyfurs or AB/DLs. To each their own. This is just a matter of how I feel about my own links.

Writing again
Posted 7 years agoSo I've started writing again for my Nostalgic Regression story. What I have so far focuses more on the pull-ups than part 1 'cause that's kinda my thing, but I'm working to fill in more of the idyllic summer life of a kid as well. Not sure when part two will be ready.
The gears are also turning on a somewhat, um, sillier idea based on something I've had over in my head since an episode of sleep-deprived daydreaming I had during a 28-hour car ride three years ago. It would also involve age regression and diaper stuff not terribly unlike Act Your Age.

Great Nostalgia: The Bookworm Bunch
Posted 7 years agoI used to watch this all the time on PBS when I was a kid. It's doubly nostalgic since I also used to have albums with the Nancy Cassidy songs that I listened to on road trips when I was little. Bookworm Bunch on Saturday and Redwall on Sunday if I recall. When I see this, for a moment it feels almost like I'm a kid again. My God I miss those days.
Extreme anxiety but a wonderful dream
Posted 7 years agoCurrently I am studying for my Master's degree and the amount of stuff have to do is hellish. The anxiety is making me physically sick at times. But last night I had this dream where this woman talked to me very soothingly, diapered me with lots of baby powder, and put me to bed on a map of my research project (because I can't have a dream without something weird). Even if it wasn't real I felt more at peace then than I have for a while.
On Diaper Fanart
Posted 7 years agoOne thing I practice on this account is that I very rarely favorite art showing licensed characters in diapers. In a sense I think it's a bit disrespectful to the characters and the creators. Maybe that's an odd thought to have on a site where the first rule is Rule 34, but let's think about it another way:
Lots of babyfurs here don't do used diapers. They don't draw them, and most importantly, they don't want their characters drawn in them. I myself have characters on my main account that I wouldn't want in diapers, clean or used. This applies to kinky/nswf stuff in general. As far as I've seen, most people on here respect what people want and don't want done with their OCs, but the same does not extend to licensed characters such as from Sonic or MLP. So where's the disconnect? Thoughts?

A question about comission etiquette
Posted 7 years agoThere's an artist I'm thinking about commissioning over on my other account, mainly because his art style would be good with one of my characters. He's closed now, but I'm willing to wait. The problem is I can't find his prices or TOS anywhere. I can't seriously consider a comission unless I know what I'm getting into. Is it acceptable to ask about the prices?
Wishing I could be little
Posted 8 years agoSo to break from my more typical habit of occasionally getting Goodnites, I picked up a package of size 6 Luvs. Of course they won't fit on my twentysomething body, but I get some use of them by stuffing them in my pants. That, coupled with a few age regression stories (that pushed a lot of the right buttons) I read recently really makes me wish I could shrink down to a small enough child to fit them. Well, I guess that's kinda common for us babyfurs, but I've especially felt it lately.
I've also been sick the past couple days. When it was at its worst at night I felt like I would get some comfort from being padded. I guess it comes from my childhood when I worry Goodnites to bed and whenever I was sick my parents were right there to take care of me.

Posted 8 years agoWhat got you into it?
Posted 8 years agoThought I'd post this to my little following after
BabyStar asked something similar a while back.
How did you folks get into the whole AB/DL/babyfur thing?

Posted 9 years agoWorktime Adventure
Posted 9 years agoI was working around back of a store to help load a truck and I had to move the line for a gas station bell out of the way. For those who don't know, it consists of a pneumatic rubber hose that you drive over to ring a bell. Anyway, to move it, I simply yanked the line and the steel end of it flew back and hit me in the ankle, hard. I sat down in a chair for a minute then passed out and hit my head on the pavement. I felt out of sorts so I was taken to see a doctor. Thankfully nothing broken and no concussion. Any interesting stories for today?
Little Ones Overnight Pants
Posted 9 years agoWell, I decided to see if there was a store-brand Goodnites alternative at Kmart and found Little Ones Overnight Pants. Of the brands I've tried this one is the most different. It is the most diaper-like one so far in look and feel. The style of waistband is more like those found on some Depends-type diapers than on anything like Goodnites while other brands seem to emulate the classic Goodnites. The makers seem to be aware of this as, unlike other brands, nowhere on the package are they called underwear or claimed to be like underwear, nor is there any mention of discreteness. The warning label even refers to them as diapers.
In terms of quality, the waistband is not as elastic as Goodnites or the Up&Up brand but stronger than the other less-elastic ones. The tightness and the somewhat stiff padding make for a fairly uncomfortable fit. The absorbency is pretty poor and the leg gathers are flimsy. Overall they seem to be the most cheaply made of the goodnites alternatives I have tried. It would be nice if there was something so diaper-like that actually had decent quality.
I will look into sampling what brands may be available at Walgreens and Rite Aid and maybe see if CVS had made any changes to its brand. After that I think I will have tried all the store-brand "goodnites" available in my area. I may consider trying Underjams as well as some reviews suggest they will fit larger sizes than I initially thought.

Up&Up Nighttime Underpants
Posted 9 years agoAfter the last unsatisfactory test of some Goodnites alternatives I tried out the Up&Up brand of pullups that I stumbled across in Target. They had a stronger, more elastic waistband than the last two brands I tried and made for a good comfortable fit and were similar in feel to the CVS store brand. Their look and feel is more diaper-like than Goodnites. Unfortunately they probably have the worst absorbency of any brand I have tried so far. I do not know of other brands that I might test, though I may see if K-mart has anything. I will not be trying Underjams as I highly doubt that they will fit me. For the time being I will experiment a little with the Goodnites Tru-fit.
Parent's Choice Nighttime underpants
Posted 9 years agoIn yet another installment of reviewing Goonites substitutes I tried out the Parent's Choice Nighttime Underpants from Walmart. Like the Allnites they have a weaker, less elastic waistband than the Goodnites and probably came from the same generic manufacturer. They would rip off all by themselves. I did not even test the absorbency. Next on the list are the Up&Up style pullups from Target.
Allnites
Posted 10 years agoThe other day I spied a new Goodnites alternative in Wegmans called Allnites. I bought a pack, which was cheaper than the Goodnites. I was not impressed. They do not seem to be quite as absorbent as Goodnites and the waistband is weaker and less elastic. So if Goodnites fit you, these might not. I barely managed to get them to fit and even then the waistband often breaks before very long. I will finish what is left of the pack I have but I do not intend to buy them again.
Goodnites Tru-fit
Posted 10 years agoFor a while my first choice of padding has been Goodnites, which started when I wet the bed as a kid. Recently I have made a bit of a change (no pun intended) and tried out the relatively new Tru-Fit brand of Goodnites. They're basically underwear with plastic pants inside where you put an insert. So far I like them quite a bit. They seem to be less leak-prone than regular Goodnites. For anyone of the pull-up persuasion I would recommend trying them.

Shyanne has hit quite a rough patch after being scammed. At the moment all I can do is give what little signal boost I can. Pop over to this journal if you think you might lend a hand, hoof, or paw: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6534214/

Posted 10 years agoI got a call from home last night. One of our two cats has cancer and it's pretty advanced. The vet says he may have a few days and we may be putting him down soon. He's been in poor health for a week or so and I've been preparing for bad news. He doesn't seem to be in much pain, though I know cats tend to hide it. Still, he's had a good full life, about as good as any cat could ask for.
A question about streaming
Posted 11 years agoSo I've considered gaming streams or something like that, but was wondering about the software. For those of you that stream, does Livestream provide the means to record what is onscreen, or do you need additional software?
