Ooph! Where to begin?...

I was feeling burnt out and depressed the past couple months and it has really impacted my health and art.
I have been stressed out by my day job and agonizing over never having enough time to sit down and draw.
All the stress and negative thinking were getting to me.

After on and off being sick with fatigue and a sinus infection finally called in sick the past week and stayed home to rest and recover.
Feeling much better now and inspired again to be positive and go back to drawing.

Trying to gain more art confidence and get rid of my perfectionism so I don't procrastinate again like last time.
Gonna be actively drawing more and start sharing things I've always wanted to draw.

Been brooding since my birthday last week and felt like I needed a change.
Updated my profile and gonna be more open to what I like and into.

Made a new sona again since I didn't feel the old ones reflected me anymore.
Since Learning to draw and seeing I started to improve has got me to think about a lot of stuff especially as a person and artist.

Im gonna be sketching and posting more from now on

That time of year again.

Work has been running me ragged latley.
Took three days off to relax and feeling much better.

Practicing learning to draw Character Heads and Facial Expressions and seeing massive improvement.

Gonna keep practicing and improving.
Will try to post something this month.

Feeling much better this month.
Starting to sketch more at a comfortable pace.
Planning to update my page and work on my sona again.
I’m still not sure what the future holds for me or what I want to be or do in the future.
In the meantime I’m just gonna have fun and enjoy learning to draw.

Hey everyone. I've been pretty quiet and absent lately.
Haven't drawn or posted anything in two months.
It's been a month since I started my new job and my semester ended just last week, so I am finally started to get settled in.

I'm still a bit rusty since I haven't been drawing as much.
I will keep practicing and learning to draw and have fun with what I do.

The rest of this month I'm going to work on my feline characters.
Funnily enough most of my OC's are lions, tigers, cheetahs, and cats in general.

Anyway, wish me luck.

Finally finished a ref of my new sona.
Feeling good and now I can keep drawing.

This week I’ll be trying to draw and post more stuff.
Working on more art of my sona, OCs from my projects, and art for friends who’ve cheered me on all this time.

Just got a new job I’ll be starting at the end of the month. So I’ll finally get some cash flow to support myself but still have enough free time to draw.

Main thing I’ll be tackling more is character design. I love creating characters in my head and want to draw them out to the best of my ability to share with everyone.
Been so stressed and worried trying to learn to draw them the perfect way that I forgot to enjoy and have fun creating them in the first place.

Feeling much better now and confident to keep drawing.

It’s another new month and finally reorganized myself.

Was procrastinating a lot and feeling depressed the last month.
Haven’t been drawing as much as I wanted.

For now I’m starting a new project.
Going to make a ref sheet of my sona this week.

What was stopping me countless times before doing this was the thought that I wasn’t good enough at art yet to make one.

But I’m just going to do it to the best of my ability and keep on drawing.

Late February update.

This month has been a mix of feelings for me like a bag of cats.

On the plus side it is starting to feel easier to draw.
Sketching is fun and I love learning how to draw stuff. Still a lot of stuff I want to learn and seeing lots of improvement.

I’m still not confident in drawing the finer details and lineart but nothing a lot of time and effort won’t solve.

Working on some things and personal projects.

This month will be kinda hectic with my classes and a family wedding.

For now, I'm just making sure I keep practicing every day until it becomes routine.

Still struggling with certain subjects when I try to draw my own characters.
Going to work on those problem areas this month and track my progress.

It's been a long year for everybody and hopefully will get better.

I will be taking some art classes for my spring semester and I've finally worked out a schedule that will make sure I keep drawing and learning.

I've learned a lot about myself this year trying to learn to draw. I've seen lots of improvement but there's still a lot of room for me to grow. Took a while for me to understand that Art is not a race but a long journey. And the importance of having fun and taking breaks to not get burnt out.

This month I will be learning and trying to put more perspective and proper anatomy in my art.
Going to try my hand at more muscular and fat characters.

Also working on some small projects for friends.

It's going to be a busy month for me as I try to get a feel for my new schedule and what I really want to do.

I'll be posting more of my art weekly so look forward to it.

I'm glad this year is almost over.
Its something I'm sure everyone is looking forward to.

Learned a lot about myself this year.
What I want to do, what I want to draw, and how to learn to get there.

Decided to put my main art project and its characters to the side to work on privately. I've been fixated this whole year on trying to learn to draw the right way and make my art perfect.

Instead, I'm going to devote time and effort to it until I'm ready to show everyone the comic idea I desperately want to do.

With that weight off my shoulders, I'm going to still learn to draw but also have fun with my art. And I think that's the best way to learn in my opinion.

So I'll be reorganizing and cleaning up my gallery to my scraps to start fresh and ill be posting more regularly at the start of the new year.

Expect to see a lot of kinky and weird character ideas that's been on my mind and that I want to get the hang of drawing.

My Fall Semester finally ended and now I can relax and focus on drawing the rest of the year.

I’m gonna post more often every week to see my progress.
Will be drawing my OC’s and start to learn how to color my sketches.

It’s finally the last week of my semester
After doing the big projects and exams I’ll finally be free after this weekend.

I caught myself doing that thing again where I try to learn to much subjects at once and get burnt out or learn nothing from it.

Sigh...

Gonna redo my priorities.

My main goal is to draw my OC’s so I’m breaking up what I have to learn one at a time.

So for the next two weeks until Christmas I’m going to practice drawing:

character head shapes
eyes
mouths
and facial expressions.

I want to nail this down before I try to learn anatomy and coloring.

Hello everyone!

It's finally the last month of the year. I can't tell ya if it's been a long or fast one but it certainly has been the worst for everyone.

My semester for school will end in two weeks and that means a lot of big projects and exams. I won't be on as much or posting until then.

On the plus side, I finally starting to see some progress in my art. I can't wait to focus all my attention for the rest of the year on learning to draw my characters.

So far I learned how to use Procreate and now I'm learning to Sketch and Draw characters.

I still have a lot of things to learn and improve on but I feel so happy that it's going in the right direction!

I'm steadily learning Shape, Form, and Character Design.

Next, I'll try to learn better Gestures, Perspective, Expressions, and Anatomy.

My semester is almost over and that means more homework...
Sadly I won’t be as active until after Thanksgiving.

On the plus side I’m making sure I set aside some drawing practice time for myself.
Starting from square one and going to practice drawing character heads and facial expressions.

I feel like drawing characters is like solving a puzzle.
I gotta break it down one piece at a time.

I want to be able to draw expressive characters in any expression and emotion.

Just two more months until this dreadful year is over.
Wished I could have finished my inktober challenge but hey you learn from your mistakes as much as you learn from your success.

Been focusing on learning to draw perfectly too much and forgot why I got into furry art in the first place.

I've been busy with school more lately and now trying to reorganize myself.
I tried working on creating my characters but now I'm starting to understand I still don't have the basics to do it yet.
So for now I'm stopping all my projects and just going to focus on building a better foundation for myself.
I'm practicing and learning to draw more as the next thing I want to tackle is Lineart.
So I'll be drawing and posting more sketches to get the hang of what kind of body types and characters I want to draw.

Hoo boy... It’s been some kinda year.
I can’t believe Summer is over and it’s FALL already.
So many things have happened this year.
Had quit my job in the spring
Then the pandemic came up.
Finally started to seriously learn to draw.
And now I’m back in college.
Ya never know what life will throw at ya but I’m still standing and hanging in there.

So update on me.
I finally learned how to draw proper anatomy but been kind of slacking with posting and practicing.

I’m stuck on whether to learn color, shading, and lineart next. But I think it’s best if I only practice making sketch art for now.

Will have new deadlines where I post every weekend.

Will be drawing concept art of my Furry High Characters!

Hey everyone, this is just a current update of what’s going on with me.

I noticed I keep trying to do too much stuff all at once and either spread myself too thin and barely get anything done or procrastinate entirely.

Now I will start sticking to a schedule and making deadlines for myself so I can be more productive.

Especially now that I’m going back to school later this month.

So a couple of main things:
I will be practicing and posting more of my art regularly. Expect to see normal and more kink related stuff. I’m trying to be a NSFW furry artist nuff said...

I will also try to set aside time for RPing with my closest friends and new people I meet, but I have to be honest that I won’t always be available like I used to be. I love rping but it consumes a lot of my time and energy I desperately need.

And sadly I’m sorry to say I will not be writing anymore new chapters for my Furry High Stories. I hate to admit it but I only wrote and RP cuz I wasn’t confident enough in or had the skills to draw what I want. Trying to fit in enough time to learn to draw and write is impossible for me right now.

After all my main goal is to draw comics and characters of what I like and want to see. So I might post some stories in the future but I will only be doing art for my Furry High Universe.

Brand new month.
Gonna focus solely on learning anatomy.
First week is going to be practicing gestures and poses.

Gonna be less color artwork as I focus on my lines and shapes.

Starting to get back into writing, working on the Furry High Chapter 8 to finish before next weekend.

Just an update for my Furry High Stories

Haven’t been writing them in months and always meant too.
Gonna reread and edit my old chapters and work on the next chapters.

Gonna try at least posting two new chapters weekly.

Had a wonderful birthday yesterday.
Promised myself to set some goals for the rest of the year.
1. Practice Drawing Everyday
2. Draw Ref Sheets of all my OC’s
3. Post art at least on daily basis
4. Post “Furry High” Chapters on a weekly basis
5. Start learning to make Comics

Been learning to draw too hard lately and not enough for personal enjoyment.
Gonna spend half the time practicing and drawing for fun equally.

Lots of interest in my Stories from fans and decided to get back on it.
