Mental Break, Sick, AC news

I am sick today!!!
So I figured I would make a journal since I can't do much else.
I haven't been very active here and I apologize for that.
I just want to get a few things off my chest.
It has been becoming increasingly hard for me to socialize. It seems the more friends I make, the more difficult it is to keep up with everyone. First I began becoming overwhelmed in the real world and stopped attending meets and hanging out with people in general. Part of that is also my bad eyes keeping me from being able to drive, but it is also because I just haven't been able to handle social situations well. Events like the bowling meets just seem to have too many people in a small space and it has just become hard to handle. I am working on it though!
Unfortunately, this feeling of being overwhelmed by social interaction has crept into my online presence. Due to my...I suppose growing "internet personality", I have been bombarded with messages daily. I of course cannot keep up with these and unless they are a close friend or interest in commissions, I have been forced to ignore them to keep myself from becoming sick with anxiety. (and I do mean sick.) And I don't mean I am getting a message a day on twitter saying how much I inspired someone. I DO read those and enjoy them, but do not always have the energy to respond. I am talking across SEVERAL versions of social media, getting at least 7 messages a day just saying "hi". And what happens is that these messages spam my inboxes and bury potential commissioners.
This is hurting my business, so it needs to be worked on. The overwhelming amount of people wanting to message me over several different websites has been a lot to keep up with and has been hurting my ability to work. Yeah yeah it may seem like I am overreacting, but unless you know my personal anxiety, you can't tell me how to feel about these things. However, I am going to be taking steps to change this so that my work may go more smoothly.
I have been slowly switching over to the official business name: Berry Meat. Pretty soon I will have a website that will house my Character sheets, portfolio, shirt designs, and commission info. Meaning FA and FN will become more of a art dumping ground rather than an actual business site. All commission questions and orders will be directed to a business email. That means that I will NO LONGER be taking commission orders over FA and Twitter.
I don't know yet when all this will go live, but I am planning to have it set up right before or right after AC. I will post announcements in many places to say when it will take effect.
All I ask is that you please be patient with me while I work through this. I am really hoping that this will help workflow and make things easier for everyone.
Also, if there is anything you need from me: art, a badge printed, a high res commission, anything that I have forgotten, please note me!
And Lastly, abut AC,
I will be there! Come find me! But keep in mind my issues with social anxiety right now, and please don't cling to me or follow me around.
But DO NOT be afraid to say hi!

IDK how closely y'all follow me, but I had like a week of being SUPER UNRESPONSIVE!
And I apologize for that. But the reason is:
I MADE A NEW FURSUIT!!
If you can even call it that. Its a partial and made with fleece.
The suit is my all-time fave Pokemon:
CHARMELEON!
If you follow my vine/insta/twitter, you have probably already seen him.
I will post pics of him here soon tho!
That being said, I am working to get back on track with art!
I have some commissions to finish before MAGfest (next weekend)
And I'll be advertising VDAY commissions, so I will finish those first.
But trades and other commissions will be done in the next few weeks!
I will also try to finally mail some things out before I leave. Making it to the post office sucks.

Back from my trip! and bad news

I just got back from my ski trip the other day
I had a blast! I only fell like 6 times, so I consider that an accomplishment!
The conditions and weather were great, so I could not have asked for a better time.
That being said! Work is back in progress! I got many many MANY messages while I was out, so please be patient as I try and get to them all today!
I also managed to hit 1k followers!!
So hi to everyone who is new and thank you!!
Also I have some bad news. Not terribly bad yet, but starting to get there.
I am sure you are all aware of my Youtube channel:

I just hit 50k on there! Which is good, but I cannot seem to get much more than 4k views per video anymore, even with that many subs.
This wouldn't be a problem if Youtube wasn't a big source of income for me.
Without the views I don't make money. and without that money I have to go find another job, which means I won't have time for youtube.
So basically unless my videos get more views, I am going to have to significantly cut down on when i upload videos and what I upload.
Which really sucks :/
But you can help by just liking and sharing! And giving me ideas :)
hopefully that will be enough to pick it back up again.

Ill be at Holiday Valley in New York
so if you live near there, Wed-Fri is the time to go skiing if you want to say hi xD
I suck at skiing
I am so terrible
But it is still fun!

He is a saber snow leopard and very purple!

Unfortunately, it is time for it to close it's doors.
However, it may be returning for an encore!
So keep your eyes open for the news!

I have like almost 100, if not already 100 badges in total. About.....50-ish- left to do.
So I am closing my que! I really hate to do this, because I want people to have spooky badges for halloween!
But my sanity and health aren't doing too great right now, so I need to take a breather. I will finish up my que and then reopen!
So if you still want a Freak Show badge, I should be reopening mid November.
Thank you to everyone who has ordered! Your badges -should- be done by Halloween. I will be mixing up my que a bit to get Furpoc badges done first and anyone who has a specific Halloween deadline. If you do NOT need yours by Halloween, please let me know so that I can lighten up a bit and have time to actually eat something other than whats in my mini fridge.
To those who may be concerned:
Yes I took a huge load. Yes I am still doing other commissions and art. I am fine and I am having fun!
Before anyone criticizes me for taking on the huge load and whatnot, I have a few things I want to state.
I was not expecting this. I made the Furpoc badges for people at the con, similar to how I did the AC ones, despite not actually going to Furpoc. I liked them so much however, that I wanted everyone to be able to have one! Not just con goers. So I opened up the freak show badges. They got nothing at first. A few here and there, so I kept the price low. And then one day I woke up to like 10 orders. And from there, they just got bigger and bigger, and I couldn't be happier.
I took on the huge load for a few reasons:
1. MONEY! 2. I am unemployed and this is my job and I need a reason to get up in the morning. 3. I want everyone to have spooky badges! I don't want to turn people away.
I know that mentality wont last long as I become more well known as an artist, but in the position I am currently in, it is great!
I do have a few non-halloween commissions to finish, but there are other factors that are making those take longer to do that I do not feel like discussing here.
AAAANYways. Thank you to everyone who has ordered, shared, and enjoyed the freak show badges! Do NOT feel bad about adding yours to the que. I love creating and I love making you all happy! Expect a lot more batches as I continue to crank these out. Progress is going to slow down a bit as this week is going to be busy doing other things, but I will try my hardest to get them done by Halloween!

Vacation and FNaF4
General | Posted 10 years agoHey everyone! I leave for vacation in a few days. I will be back mid August.
I am going to the beach for 2 weeks and then Matsuricon!
I will still be doing work while I am gone!!!!
However right now I am putting a hold on commissions because I have to pack.
The hold will be lifted when I get settled in at the beach.
I am also working on VIDEOS!!
I played FNaF4 this weekend and recorded it!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I did not get my summer internship.
However, that means..
I AM GOING TO ANTHROCON!!!
It also means I will need money. So starting soon I am going to try really hard to be able to do commissions, and may even open an etsy or something.

It will be a short series of 6-10 episodes, called something like "living with a furry." Similar to my documentaries, it will be about the misunderstood community of furries. However, I plan to make it more humorous.
The plot:
A girl moves into an apartment and discovers her roommate (me) is a furry. This really freaks the girl out and she doesn't quite know how to handle it. She expects the fur to be super weird and inviting friends over for fursuit orgies and wearing the suit all the time and, well you guys know. But with every scenario, The fur is basically normal and fun. The girl begins to realize that she is freaking out over nothing, and the community is actually kinda cool.
So what do you guys think? I would need a LOT of help with writing and making it funny. I would also need my fellow pittsfurghs to be special guests! I am thinking about doing a gofundme for it but idk if that is appropriate.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I did not get my summer internship.
However, that means..
I AM GOING TO ANTHROCON!!!
It also means I will need money. So starting soon I am going to try really hard to be able to do commissions, and may even open an etsy or something.

I have picked up a pencil many times and just can't get anything down on paper.
