Wellll my vegas trip got cancelled but I spent that week at my Daddy's house because his kitty Gobi had emergency surgery so I stayed to watch him while Daddy was at work. I wasn't able to work on my tablet much because I was doing a lot of cleaning and cuddling with Gobi to make sure he was happy and comfortable. Luckily I'd already planned that week off so Im not much further behind than I was expecting. Got back to work on Sunday and got a lot done but that night my mom went to visit my uncle and found he had passed away in his bed. While I wasn't very close with him, my mom is devastated. Spent yesterday making sure she was eating and resting. Im back on my computer this morning hoping to work but my mind is still worried about my mom.

Ill be sending a message to the people waiting the longest on my queue to make sure they know I'm moving along as best I can atm. Hiiiii everyone! Been a while since I gave an update!
I've been dealing with some extra fatigue and all my blood work came back normal so guess it's just MS fatigue I gotta fight through :\ I've been trying to eat healthier/more but still dealing with ibs symptoms and I dont have any vitamin deficiencies that would explain the fatigue. At least I haven't lost any more weight.

I went on a trip to LA, and got to go to Disneyland!!, but I finished a TON of work before I left. This week I've been back on the grind getting things caught up the best I can. Unfortunately theres some people who have been waiting almost 2 months and I feel dreadful about that. But I'm getting to them pretty quickly (the next on the list's 2 month mark is the 15th)! I'm doing as much work as I can because I'll be going to Vegas with my brothers from the 17th to the 24th.

I hadn't mentioned before but we had to say goodbye to 2 of our cats in the last 3 months. Lucy who I had since she was born, and Alphonse who we rescued from a hoarding situation. They were both 12 and I guess old age caught up with them. My cat Able(my whole world) is 13 now so that scares me a lot but he is still very healthy. And hyper AF lol. Silly boy. So now we only have 1 cat each in this house. My mom has Prudence (Lucy's sister), I have Able, and Zack has Crowley. They've started to get along better(sometimes lol) since our family got smaller. It's been a sad couple months but we have each other to lean on.

Its been rough financially as well, I had to cancel my trip to FC and luckily my friend paid for most of my LA trip and my brother is paying for most of the Vegas trip. I really want to be able to contribute as much as I can so I'm definitely open for ANYTHING right now.

Hey everyone! I've slowly been working my way through my queue, slower than I'd hoped but things are moving. However I got smacked with a bad cold this past week. It's my first time being sick since starting on immunosuppressants and it SUCKS. I have the usual sinus/headache/fatigue symptoms plus I was incredibly disoriented, to the point I was worried it was something worse. But! I started feeling better yesterday and am feeling even better today so I'm passed the worst of it.
Working on the few christmas deadline pics I've got on my list and confident in getting those done on time.

Im excited for Christmas! I was only able to buy a few presents this year, faaaar less than the previous years but money is tight unfortunately :(

Hii everyone! Just letting you know I've been working my tail off I just haven't been posting for a few reasons. I'll catch up with posting soon, I've just been focused on the actual drawing part of work. I also need to contact everyone individually to give an update. I'm running at approximately 1 month wait time right now and hoping to keep or improve that pace.

As I've mentioned before, I was really sick throughout July and August and am still dealing with symptoms even now. My doctor said its IBS but whatever it is I still dont want/cant eat a lot of things. I ended up losing 25 lbs since it started. I think I've leveled out at least, I have to force myself to eat a lot. But I'm learning what to eat. So because of this weight loss, most of my clothes dont fit anymore. I was able to get some summer clothes and some shirts I can wear year-round. But I'm swimming in my pants and pajamas, trying to hold them up lol. Long story short, I'm having a sale so I can buy new winter clothes! I'm hoping to afford 2 jeans and 2 pajama pants for now. Oh and some underwear lol. With the ones I'd like that adds up to around only $100! That's only 2 ychs at the sale price!

Life is turning around quickly! I'm still sick with tummy issues but Im getting used to what I can and can't eat. Its definitely making me eat healthier.
An exciting update about work! I only have 6 more pics to do to be caught up to August 18th! After that my entire queue will have been waiting less than 10 days! So happy about this!
Im finally able to open for new work and just in time cause I have to pay Q3 taxes in 3 weeks(ouch). I'm retiring a lot of my ychs and made a new one yesterday!

Just to preface this: I've been getting work done! I finished about 25 pics in the last 5 days.
Im sorry I havent been posting lately, I've been having a very rough time. Basically still no appetite and struggling to eat without tummyache afterwards. At the beginning of this I ended up losing 13 lbs. Luckily I haven't lost any more since then. This whole thing has made me very aware of what I was eating before at least. I'm staying away from fats and empty calories now, for the most part.
I've been very weak and tired from not eating enough and I push it, I force it, I deal with the tummyache. But it's usually not enough calories for the day. I'm trying to do my best to function.
Idk what is wrong, it may just be MS symptoms because these are common with MS anyways. But my doctor is running some tests to see if there's a root cause that could be treated.

For work: I am doing my absolute best. I've already contacted everyone individually to let them know what's going on and about the delay. I AM working! It was very slow for a while, was also dealing with my ritalin dosage being off, but work seems to be going faster now. I'll be back at it tomorrow and hopefully finish a comm or 2!

Hey everybody, I've been going through some shit lately

We've been having mostly over 100 F degrees weather this whole month and our AC hasnt been working for 2 years. My brother tried replacing the whole system but we just found out it was done wrong so we have to figure that out or try and find the 10's of thousands of dollars to pay for it to be professionally done.
My room specifically has been upwards of 90 F degrees during the day so I've been afraid to turn on my computer for very long out of fear of overheating. I might be being overly cautious but I can't risk anything happening to my main source of income.
I also got very sick for about 10 days and couldn't eat very much. I lived off oatmeal and electrolyte drinks. I ended up losing 12 lbs :( I am *mostly* better from that. Just a few food sensitivities left.

I've fallen behind almost a month on my queue and I feel horrible. I'll be sending out some updates individually soon and getting as much work done as I can during the cooler hours of the morning.
I also have my galaxy tablet I've been drawing sketches on, but the calibration keeps getting off so I can't do any lining. I'm gonna try to get that fixed so I can work on ychs off my computer.
Just know that I am doing everything I can to get back on track.

My brother is here visiting for a week for mothers day so I've been busy.
Our fridge broke so we had to move everything to ice chests and buy lots of ice. Repair person should be coming tomorrow. It feels like camping lol.
Today we focused on replacing our AC unit, helped my brother feed the pipes under the house.

I was hoping to find some time to sketch on my tablet but it's been too hectic here. Maybe in the next few days I'll find some time.

Anyway, I won't be answering all messages until I'm back in work mode next week!

Just a "quick" update

Ive been on these immunosuppressants for my MS for 6 weeks now and unfortunately the side effects got worse from when I first started. But luckily! They aren't bad. I dont have the most common side effect- flushing, hot, red, itchy all over- but the nausea has been hitting me almost every day. Not enough to keep me from eating, but definitely limiting what I do eat. I got it so much better than most so I'm taking that as a win.

For my birthday I got a Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablet and their Creator edition pen! Im so glad because I can still draw on days when I'm stuck in bed. Ive done some sketching on it mostly so far, but have been focusing on my computer to catch up on owed ychs. I'll get to sketch more soon as work is going at a good pace <3!

I closed some of my ychs and sales because I'd like to focus on custom commissions/1 slot ychs for a while. I'm doing really well as far as my mental health and the brain fog is lifting (maybe from the pills?) so I can finally do custom stuff again!

Hii! Another week has gone by and I thought an update was in order. I started taking the immunosuppressants for my MS on thursday. I had a lot of nausea that day and friday but it has calmed down over the weekend. Im still tummy hurty during the day but its not preventing me from eating. I have to double the dosage starting this thursday so I'm worried the nausea will be bad again, but wont know until I take it. I'm so glad I havent had any of the other warned symptoms; flushing(red and hot all over), itchiness, and rash. But I may be speaking too soon. We'll see how it goes on thursday. It will take several weeks/months to see if it will improve any of my current symptoms and I will have to get another MRI in 6 months to check for any new lesions.

Work has been going well, and at a good pace! I have many ychs open and Id appreciate any sales!

My plan for my birthday is to make home made 6 cheese lasagna and Ive got some carrot cake cupcakes in the freezer waiting for me. We're gonna watch the Hunger Games prequel because I haven't seen it yet! And probably play some step mania and chill.

For a health update~ I had a worrying symptom the other day that made me afraid I'd triggered another MS relapse. Pain and blurriness in my left eye. It was definitely triggered by stress of money issues and fighting with my insurance. But after deciding to cancel the appointment for the dental crown and deal with it at a later date, the money stress went away and I felt so much better. Then my insurance denied the MS med I need to take AGAIN and it was frustrating and so much stress. I decided for the weekend I just gotta let it go I can't do anything until Monday. So just now, the specialty pharmacy called and said my insurance had approved the med and it was only a $5 copay. I'm so relieved something is actually happening. Especially with that fear I triggered a relapse, its more important than ever. My eye is back to normal so I know it was just a temporary stress symptom but it could've been much worse if the stress had continued.
Im very hopeful now. Only thing I'm worried about are the side effects of this med, but I wont know until I take them.

I am under a tremendous amount of stress and I'm worried about triggering an MS relapse. I'm fighting with insurance to get my medications covered and this is just a huge battle I can't think about anything else.
I also realized if I got the crown my retainer probably wont fit anymore, I called the orthodontist and its $360 for a new one.
So I am cancelling the appointment for the crown. I cannot afford it, I dont feel its immediately necessary, and I can come back to it when I'm more stable health wise and financially.
I got enough sales to cover the rest of what I needed for the fillings so Ive closed the GFM.
