As you know I have to leave my home at Kyiv after starting war in Ukraine, so me with my husband living in Ternopil already for a year, and this week we decided to visit our families for the second time from the beginning of the war.

It was a spontaneous decision due to many factors, mainly because everyone has no time to spend it together (job, school, uni and so on).

I’ll be back in few days with new pics 💚

I was always curious about how long people can wait for the artwork?

As a customer my term is 6 month as maximum, and as an artist I always try to do commissions as soon as it possible including life troubles, etc. Usually it term is less then a month

Some time ago my friend had wait like a year for an art piece, and when she wanna her cash back the other side of the deal (artists) was really mad at her

So I wondered: what was your maximum waiting for all time you commission people? And what maximum deadlines you can give an artist to do their job?

Hey there, I hope it will be the last journal about war, but many of us was interested how’s going and if I’m safe.

I'm fine, at least better than I was in the bomb shelter.
We moved again, to the west of Ukraine this time. Now I am a few dozen kilometers from the city of Ternopil in a remote village.

There is no warm water here, there is nowhere to buy fresh food, but here I feel safe. My psyche is tired of sirens and endless flights of enemy planes overhead (they also fly here, but much less often). There is no telephone connection here, my house is in the middle of a field. We had to wait a long time to connect the Internet here, but now at least I can write this journal. These are conditions to which it is possible to get used, although they are difficult.

I really hope that I will return to Kyiv at least in the summer. My plans are to move to the city of Ternopil in the fall if everything is in order.

The war has been going on for the eighth day. I’m still alive, my husband and I were forced to evacuate and now we spend most of our time in a bomb shelter.

I still can't (I'm afraid) take responsibility and draw commissions for you, because I still don't know what will happen tomorrow and whether I can survive to give you the finished work, but I'm sure that the war will end soon and my country will be independent & free.

But I will continue to draw, because this is the only thing that helps me to distract myself from the war and the endless bomb explosions. I’m here, in Kyiv now and I don’t know if we will survive tomorrow. We don’t have place to escape in. We don’t want to. This is our home and we will fight with aggressors.
