Drawing more of the deer transformation. I had to cut off the sketching early last night, but I did get half of it sketched, including the headshots (that literally every other page has included because of course). So now I just have a few poses at the beginning and the end to do.

I learned a lot about birds-of-paradise yesterday, I really should do more bird-of-paradise TFs. Particularly the more colorful ones that perform their mating dances in the canopy.

Man, I always procrastinate when it comes to writing journals.

Since the most recent picture took a long time to make and took a lot out of me, I'm going to spend tonight and tomorrow night working on a much smaller image, and something more fun. Starting this weekend, I'll be finishing up the last ref sheet for my boyfriend's fantasy world.

I'm going to try streaming tonight again. I know I've been self-conscious about posting so many journals over the past couple years, and I was trying to post journals every week, thinking it would be more conscientious...

It hasn't been working. I've been struggling with keeping my focus and motivation. Even if no one attends my streams, it's still nice to have them running, occupying the ADHD side of my brain with playing party host while the other half focuses on drawing.

So, I'll start streaming in just a minute. I'll be shading the next animal in the costume party sequence. Come and see if your guess is correct.

I spent the first half of this week recovering from a cold, but starting from tonight, I am going to continue drawing the next in the sequence. I'm not sure if I will be streaming: there's been an issue with my computer's network connectivity since Sunday that I may or may not be able to fix by tonight. I'll add in the stream link if it does get solved.

Would it be easier to remind people of my streaming schedule for the entire week, rather than every single day? I'm still self-conscious about how many journals I post regularly. Let me know what you think.

I'm leaning towards making a commission form for general commissions (as opposed to TF), let me know if you'd be interested.

Tomorrow evening -- which is to say, later today -- I will start streaming again, working on the next image in the costume party.

I stopped because that one week was very stressful and busy, then I wanted to spend time doing some hand-drawn stuff, then that fell apart and I wanted to focus on something just for me, and that turned into the costume party... then I was on vacation, and when I got back I kept on trying to unwind.

But even though nobody watches my streams, I've always found I work better while they're on. Basically I stopped because I wasn't drawing. Now that I am drawing again, I want to stream again.

Oh, and I'm only 12 watchers away from doing another raffle. I think I'll keep the same conditions as last time: either 2-character flat-color image/sequence, or a 1-character full-shaded image. Shading the comic tonight, got a lot to cover, wish me luck!

There was never a job. It was an elaborate money mule scam. I spent the whole day talking to the bank, the police, the FTC, the supposed company that was hiring me. I've opened myself up to identity theft by sharing my driver's license for that fake employee contract. I hope this won't haunt me for the rest of my life.

There will not be a vacation for me tomorrow. I will be streaming tonight and tomorrow night as usual. And I'll do another collab this weekend. Something to cheer me up.

I just got a job offer this morning. I've signed the paperwork, but it still doesn't feel real yet. It's fully remote, so they have to mail the equipment first, and only then can I get started with training, but it's an exciting first step.

To celebrate, I will be doing what I was going to do anyway tonight, which is to continue inking the comic. It also means it won't be posted by Friday, because my actual celebration is to visit my fiance before starting.
