As someone that has owned a loving affectionate cat for over 15 years until her death a couple years ago I would have to disagree, if you take care of and give kitty plenty of attention they don't loose their appeal at all I say. I hope I'm not alone in thinking this...

It's only come to mind because over the summer I adopted two stray kittens, and I plan to take care of them and them a lifetime of love too.

So far Halloween has come and gone without me having enough time for it. What the hell is up with that? I fear I'm going to be old before I realize it.

Posted a political cartoon in a political cartoon thread in LiveJournal where I dared to address the idea that prejudice from both genders makes it hard to be a pro-feminist male.

Why am I awake?

Sorry for the long hiatus, my laptop is back after been out for a week or two for repairs. It was sent because the keyboard was acting up, it's ok now and it's nice to not have to plug in an external keyboard in order to use it lol. Before I couldn't really send in any artwork, the laptop I used to browse the 'net was my dusty old one that couldn't do half the stuff this one can.

Just read a journal concerning Tracy Morgan's apology over a rant he made against gays:

Amazingly I think I'm going to accept the apology and move on. Weather it's bullshit or not I don't know, but I don't know Tracy Morgan and he doesn't know me so I figure saying mad at some person I don't even know is not going to affect anything one way or another.

Furthermore I want to take the opportunity (because being gay is the only "minority" I'm apart of to take offence about) to debunk this media trend of absolutely destroying a person because they said or did something inappropriate. I figure I'd get no benefit out of that. Like being mad or hateful towards someone because they said something is not healthy I think, I will get no pleasure out of seeing someone's career ruined because of a backlash, so I've decided that it's not worth it. I will respond to any hateful comment against gays not with hatred or anger but with kindness and maybe a little bit of disappointment if anything else. Because gays are not the enemy, and nobody is the enemy. There doesn't need to be any enemies, that's what I want people to figure out.

Similar to Halapmir I'm thinking about making a site devoted to my game concept Animalia. It'll include a lot of concept art and some back story and possibly some role play opportunities. One thing I know it would probably not have, since this is going to eventually be a product that would be made and sold is porn... so we'll have to see how well it's received here.

I have been getting better with modeling and animation that I think I have a chance of making the game possible or at least start a few demos of it soon. So I want to go ahead and start a lot of serious concept art for it.

I know someone that lets HGTV run on the television a lot and I've noticed how often they rail against dated 1980's stuff in houses. I know a lot of stuff from it is kind of cheesy and a bit bland sometimes (Like wood paneling and that mauve/teal color combination) but every once in a while I see people put down old decor that doesn't really have anything wrong with it.

I suppose it's because the updates are being applied to homes that are supposed to sell, frankly there's several things I'd do to a home that won't sell but wouldn't mind living with.

Also I can recall at least one time that someone (my crazy aunt) did to a house that "updated" it but made it worse. We were fixing up a house for my little brother and the lanterns on the outside were made of brass. My aunt said it was an 80's thing and spray painted them silver, because silver is in apparently. Well that's fine and all but spraypaint? That sounds a bit cheap to me, and the excuse for it seemed to be too much of a fashion whim...

Dang forgot what the password to my yahoo account was but I can still read mail due to Firefox remembering it. I think it was one of those incidences where a site forces you to come up with something convoluted because it has to have a capital letter, lowercase letter, number, and non-numeric character... passwords are just a pain after a while it seems like you have to make them up to use anything on a computer.

I think that on FA lately people have been taking my comments the wrong way, so I would like to say that I never, ever mean any harm by them. Sometimes I may joke but when I comment on a piece at all it's usually because I really like that piece. I'm sorry if I didn't read any rules on how to comment on certain works, or not leaving shouts or anything specific like that. I'm trying to be nice, friendly even. Nice is the only thing I ever try to be on here...

Just something that's always been on my mind because it see it pop up on internet discussions on feminism, patriarchy, and stuff like that and it involves straight males which is almost alien to me now but...

Is there in fact a healthy balance between being sexually attracted to women and objectifying them?

I always hoped that there would be because it would be highly unfair of the straight male community otherwise, and I'm one of those crazy idealists that want everyone to get along you know. I also understand that the balance certainly wouldn't involve rape because that would be insane, but on the internet sometimes people would have you believe there's one behind every corner. So what would be a rational answer?

I never understood women anymore or less as fellow human beings myself, and though I may be attracted to other men I certainly don't look upon them as objects but as other human beings with equally valid and unique qualities. But then again I don't ponder those qualities of everyone I meet either, most of the time I just think "oh hey, a person" because they're so common I just pass by without barely noticing. So in a way most people aren't objects at all but day-to-day blurs we all barely think about. I don't know if that makes anyone feel any better but, as far as I can it's true.

Need a journal to clean up the stupid drama stuff anyways so this is mostly something silly.

Always wondered about this though, does anyone else (particularly guys) have trouble distinguising between guy's and girl's clothing sometimes? I don't mean obvious things like skirts and dresses but more subtle things like jeans and t-shirts that to your surprise just happen to be on the girl's side of the store. Really it doesn't matter and I'm not worried or anything just always wondered.

I appologize for the last journal, I think I overreacted and likely made an ass of myself. I'm just fustrated with all the drama as of late, it's always fustrating becuase sometimes all I want to do is do something positive with the things I'm interested in including the whole furry thing, and then a few people seem to want to ruin that you know. It's also fustrating because I could just cut off ties and say I'm not a furry anymore, but then I'd be lying because I know the kind of art I draw and the kind of people I hang out with.
