Might I remind people that ychs are basicly wildcards or wing-its in sofar that characters you end up with could be anything and you generally have no right to dictate what character you wanna be with. Some people might tell you who they are offering but that's simply a matter of courtesy, asking for a change is disrespectful to both the owner and the artist.

Im am sure many of you have by now heard that CNN's "This is Life with Lisa Lang" will be broadcasting a episode this Sunday addressing furry fandom.

Considering the suspicion that the community generally has towards portrayals in mainstream media, i was curious if anyone is planing on watching this?

Noticed this rather obscure film on amazon a couple days ago, and the trailer did look pretty interesting so i went ahead and rented it, il safely say that its quite a bit slower paced and holds quite a bit less horror then what you would expect after watching the trailer but i found it pretty enjoyable none the less, i do have 1 major discrepancy thru i wont mention since that would really spoil the film but... What i wasn't expecting is to find a actual closet furry in this if obviously depicted in a bit of a stereotypical manner with porn and apparently "real fursuit partials" as well as a cheap onesie with a attached non-human dildo i believe, still it is a unexpected find in what is supposed to be a eco-horror movie, i do wonder if any of my watchers may recognize the art prints that are also depicted since i noticed at least 2 that just had to be from FA lol.

I do like that the mutations are in fact quite realistically depicted for the most part which is kinda the point of the movie, and that this is apparently actually filmed on location in rural Duluth between the airport and Duluth city proper.

For reference while it says based on true events in the opening, it is more correctly inspired by true events, the high prevalence of amphibian mutations in the US Northern mid-east is real as well as the investigations into it.

So a new season of Midnight Texas came out on hulu, and wanted to look into it but low behold, i cant because for what ever reason hulu doesnt have any episodes prior to season 1 episode 7 so new watchers are basically shit out of luck.

Certainly not going make money from offering any episodes of series new season while not offering the first season, doesnt make sence watching a series if you dont know how things started in the first place uu.


Ive also seen this happening with shows like lucifer were some episodes for a certain season are apparently arbitrarily removed while the rest of the season and series remains, that produces a inconsistency preventing new watchers from watching it.

edit* talk about setting up a show to intentionally fail, episodes cant even be found on on the parent it self, so the audience size is of cource going be too small to be profitable.

This has often been a primary issue with commissioning artists for darou? It got me curious does anyone watching me happen to dislike abdominal mammaries on Darou or dragon-like creatures in general? If so why if i may ask?

While darou does lay eggs they generally hatch quickly before the young can survive independently making breast milk necessary since they do hatch without the ability to already take in solid food. initially i had the breasts on the chest like a human's but moved them to the lower abdomen after some consideration as being a more practical position...

I know some of my characters are oddities and arnt some peoples cup of tea but please do not try setting presumptuous terms before i have even been contacted by the artist or host to be able to provide any character at all.

YCHs are not really the place for buyers to be demanding specific types of characters to interact with, i never make demands in ychs as to who my characters interact with, im aware of the chance of ending up with a character i may not like but i also respect the process and and the other persons characters and i expect the same in return.

Also dont use this to threaten the artist of dropping out to get your way.

Why do you not post samples of your work? As far as I'm concerned that just diminishes the amount of people willing to bid. And has the potential to anger people who end up getting far less then expected.

I know some tell people to just look thru their gallery but that is just rude, and many don't even sort their gallery my commission types.

PS: I'm also starting to see this quite often with regular commission openings as well, no visual price chart or links to samples, just simple text that does not tell us much about what we are actually commissioning.

Should I just give up on my OC Darou? Where ever I go I just cannot find a single artist that can or is willing to do a ref for my primary OC. Is the unusual unwelcome these days?
