Ok wow. ha ha...

So it didn't take long for them to bring the router and get me set up with some high speed internet. Yee~

But for awhile FA was blocked... Like that was weird... cause it would work on my phone, so I knew it wasn't blocked in the country. And I love you guys, but I didn't want to get a VPN just so I could get on 1 art site.

I just stayed persistent and sure enough... I tried getting on today and here I am making this journal. Sweet.

I moved out of some shared housing... (military...basically barracks) into a flat in town.

For some reason they didn't have my internet ready. Honestly, I'm pissed cause it's the only thing I was very pushy about. I didn't even fault them for not cleaning the damn place but now I gotta use that fact as ammo for "you guys didn't do anything you were supposed to do." Like, it went from "You'll have internet" to "it needs 2 days to be hooked up" to "Oh we ordered it for you, give it 10 business days."

Like...fuck that. I'm pulling some strings to get this flowing faster. But cause I have to travel to base and use food court wifi to get online with my laptop, I can't really post everyday like I was doing.

Also, I have night watches these next couple of days, so I'm gonna be passed out during day hours. :'>

Whew... I finally got through all 8,000 submissions that piled up while I was gone. Some from still active artists and some that no longer seem to be on this site or have moved accounts. Gave me some direction on who to -/+ Watch now.

Next goal- submitting art that's worth a +fav? lol

Also I'm open for Art Trades if anyone is interested. I'll make a separate journal for that later.

I rather missed posting on art sites... but dunno how well my return will go. How many people are still around? Still care?

Is anyone familiar with the site or posting there? Is it friendly, or do they scare off the noobs? Is everything always fully rendered and complete or do people submit sketches and concept art there too?

I've only been on the site like twice, lead there by links on other sites. And the few galleries I've seen have always been by pretty good artists.


I dunno why, but the more I'm here or the more I bring up FA to friends or other artists, I'm told I'm really not going to get anywhere cause I draw furries nowhere near enough. When I first joined FA, I was reassured and welcomed by people telling me that drawing humans was okay. And then all those people seem to have left FA. I think some may lurk still... but they have stopped posting. I watch maybe 1 human artist here with an amazing style, and she had to submit a 32 page comic to get an increase in activity, which looks like it died down when she submitted normal drawings again.

It's not wrong, it's a furry website. So I wonder if I should leave because I'm definitely not a furry artist. Thoughts?

Trying yet again to be active here. I'll keep the cross posting up and hopefully more since FA allows the smutty art we all have grown to love.

Ok...whew. No pulling back this time! Gotta stay pumped.

Will be doing as much concept art as I can muster to hopefully give everyone an idea about the characters and genre. And make FAQ journals...or teaser ones...or something. Since I just kinda am coming out of the blue with wanting to do these specific stories instead of Within Shadows or Deck of Fools, which has interest.

1st story. Which I am treating more "importantly" because I would like to take it serious and have this completed in 3-5 years (it's short). Will be about my character Vanroe. Who I last drew and posted on DA in 2006. For my old watchers... he's the father of Sayrio. If I finish his story successfuly, Sayrio's story will follow right after.

Title is pending, but right now I've been calling it "All For a Heart"
Since I've always tied him together with Kingdom for a Heart.

2nd story. Is a fan comic I want to create really badly. Doujin I guess... but with original characters. Based on the old anime/manga series Tokyo Mew Mew. It'll get the magical girl, cutesy stuff out of my system whenever needed. I just hope it's enjoyed however far I get in it. =w=

This one is known as Mew Mew Parfait! And it might just be me wasting energy on a fandom that might be long gone. lol

Nothing too serious. Just FA feels like a lonely ghost site lately that honestly cares for nothing if giant dicks, boobs, and semen aren't involved.

So ive had a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 for a few years now. Didnt really have a use for it until lately. Now I'm on it a lot more for chromecast and email.

At the moment, ive taken it with me for the weekend and have downloaded different drawing programs on it not sure whats good or not and the stylus doesnt have pressure sensitivity. But hey, its fun.

And yes, for practice im offering free headshots to my watchers. Any kind of character. Im just drawing whichever ones look fun, with no preference of the owners.

I've started cleaning up all my buddy/friends/watching lists on all my sites and instant messengers.

Deleting inactive accounts, people I never hear from, and artists I just don't think are inspirational anymore for whatever reasons. Which most of my FA watchers were inspirational people... cause if we wanna talk about friends, I can count them on one hand here. You guys. <3

If I seem to have deleted you and we actually talk or something, feel free to speak up. Just saying so means we at least have a base to start being friends.

I'm more likely to comment and whatnot when there's less art and journals in my inbox. So this is my way of trying to become more active. The list will grow again over time.

Hello all~

After the last few depressing journals, I'm sure some of you would like to hear good news from me.

It started that I got sick... the one big sickness that I guess I get once a year. First time I took a sick day at work I felt so bad. But that didn't stop 3 of my co-workers coming over to see Guardians of the Galaxy. We had planned it the week before. So, being their sick host I just laid on the couch with a blanket while they used my kitchen to make me macaroni and cheese and we overall had a lot of fun. I passed out quickly after they left, but was fine the next day~

After having Xmas dinner with mom, I drove 1.5 hours to Beaumont to spend the holiday with :usershi-shintai: and her family. I haven't had a Christmas that actually felt like one in years. Stayed up most of the night chatting and laughing, woke up to open presents from under a tree, and a big holiday dinner. And I have a weakness to holiday food... I think I ate 3 plates.

We started the Wakfu cartoon...it's so darn cute! It makes me miss my characters from the MMOs Dofus and Wakfu.

Saturday I went to my dad's side of the family and kinda just sat around bored. Not bad really... just...not fun? didn't really talk to anyone, ate a bit of everything to taste it all. Dad gave me some kitchenware. :3

And today static-foil came to my house to chill for a little while and give me a Xmas massage. I swear she's professional! It was so good. I can't thank you enough. I hope the mudkip figurine will do for now. <3

And I just reactivated my FFXIV account. I will work on commission when I come home for an hour at least, but I have a lot to catch up on this game and I really feel like playing it.

And yes... I still have mailing to do. Now that Xmas has passed, maybe I can hit up a post office and be in and out real fast. :3

Instead of coming home and doing something to relax, I'm enrolling my mom for health insurance.

This is because my family is incapable of doing anything for themselves.

I'm the only adult here.

This and many stories throughout the weeks have included:

Cause obviously my mental health doesn't matter.

No, this isn't a "I'm thankful for" Thanksgiving journal. But I guess it would have fit if I did it yesterday!

Thank you EVERYONE. Because of your commissions and purchasing some of my old games, I've made back the $250 stolen from me and the amount it cost for me to replace my car mirror!

I've even made a little extra on top, and trust me, I'll put it to good use. I'm not going black Friday shopping to splurge what you guys have given me. It'll likely go towards Elimo's first vet visit or a ticket to have my boyfriend spend the holidays with me. Something big and important, cause that's how I feel about all of you here.

AGH, sadly I couldn't recover almost any of my games this weekend. Went to my parent's house and they just had my N64 and Xbox games out. Mom said she packed all my PS2 games into "a white box" but doesn't know where she placed it. She says she'll look for it once she's home on Tuesday (she was trying to give me directions/clues over the phone and that didn't work out too well...)

So just a few new games added to the list.

So... Fall is turning to be a really shitty season for me. I know I used to say September was my bad luck month, but 2014 decided it really wants to kick me in the ass.

Passenger side-mirror broke. My own fault between being really angry and mixing up my pedals and a totally fucked up sense of distance.

Luckily, I have friends that don't charge dealership prices, so I'm looking at paying about $113 vice $400. Thank heavens for living around resourceful people.

I still haven't recovered from the $250 that was stolen from me....
