If you've been around, you're probably already familiar, but I've gotten quite a few new followers since (plus we're updating our Patreon again) so I thought I'd take this opportunity to boost it!
What is Data and Downloads?
It's a Digimon fan comic that started off as a homebrew TTRPG campaign! It's surrounds Tamers Adrian, Kells (played by icefire - who is also the main artist of the comic!), and Blaine (played by @Fatalsyndrome), and their Digimon companions as they try to save the Digital World from a virus known simply by the denizens as "The Data-Eating Virus" (i'm sure you see the problem lol).
Their main Digimon are Labramon, Dorumon, and Dobermon, but they also have other Digimon partners such as Pulsemon, Elecmon, and Dracomon. Not to mention all the other Digimon they meet along the way as they uncover more mysteries than originally aware of. If there's a Digimon you like, I can guarantee it'll show up in one way or another as the comic goes along hehe
It's also more than a comic! Included are interactive updates such as point-and-click style 'pages' and updates that show the story progressing in a more visual novel style format. All programmed by the artist of our comic icefire !

What's this about a Patreon?
Recently, we've started updating our comic's Patreon again! These uploads include WIPs/ behind-the-scenes shots of the comic pages showing the progress of each page and panel! Given that this is a comic based off of a Digimon-themed TTRPG, I've also uploaded and will continue to upload session notes (including stats i've made up for enemy encounters, plot notes, and misc!) .

We've been really happy with all the comments and views and fan art we've received already!! Your support has been really unbelievable!
We finished up the prologue and first chapter, and are making headway into the second chapter now! So, if you haven't given it a look yet, check out Data and Downloads, the webcomic based off of the Digimon themed, homebrew TTRPG (follows the mechanics of 5e with some from 3.5e DnD) that I run!

Webcomic Update!
Posted 3 years agoI noticed I never made a journal talking about this, but we have a webcomic! I've talked about it before in submissions here and there, but nothing all that direct, I realize!
Related, but I've been DMing a homebrew DnD campaign that surrounds Digimon and my own sort of take on the universe. And eventually, we decided that we should make a fancomic based off of said DnD campaign!
And thus........

We're already 13 pages in, and that's just the start (literally, this is just the prologue right now, which mostly follows Kells' and their meeting with their first Digimon) ! So, please check it out, if you'd like! We'd love to have you along for this!

Some Changes....

So, as of today, I have my own bank account! So, therefore, I can more comfortably manage my own Paypal account.
This means, you'll likely notice the email address and Paypal account that you'll be receiving invoices from will be different that what you're used to! That'll be the biggest change, I think.
But, I've also set up my own Ko-fi ! It is linked, now, in my profile and Journal header. Whether you send a little as a tip for a commission, or just as a little extra support, it's greatly appreciated!
I'm also highkey thinking of making a Patreon! I am not sure on the specifics of it, yet, but I do know that future supporters will get priority when it comes to my commission slots. Though, you will not have to be subscriber to GET a commission. I will also likely post WIPs of things and personal art, as well as offer 'free art' opportunities. I'm still mulling over other incentives and tiers, but I'd say a Patreon is definitely going to happen.
This is all kind of a lot for me, and I'm trying not to get overwhelmed by it all! ahaha ^^; Though, that said, I'll have a YCH up in a few days (2-character, vday-ish themed) , so if that's something that interests you, keep an eye out!

Before you commission me:
- Please have a reference sheet or something that clearly shows colors
-- Flat color, digital references work the best! Other digital references will work as well. Photography and in-game screen shots are usable, but you may not be allowed to request an edit to the coloring if it's a bit off
- Text descriptions are fine in most cases (feel free to ask, if unsure)
-- Visual reference may be required for more expensive pieces ($100+)
In General:
- Please let me know beforehand if your ref is NSFW
- If you are commissioning me for a gift for another person, you MUST be sure they are ok with it and (explicitly or implicitly via being friends) have the other person's permission to get their character drawn
- Must be 17 years or older to commission me
-- Must be 18+ to commission kink art, if you are found out to be circumventing this rule, you will be blacklisted until further notice.
- I may decline to take on a commission for any reason; furthermore, I am not obligated to inform you of said reason
- Slots go fast! If you do not respond within 24 hours of initial contact regarding a potential commission, you may lose out on being able to get said commission
- If you can't figure out how to use FA, I would prefer to continue business on Twitter.
--- My order of preference for business communication is: FA or Twitter> Tumblr> Email > Discord.
--- I do not do business on Telegram. Do not try to contact me there, I will ignore inquiries that suggest taking communication to Telegram.

The Complexity Clause
- Any character with over four colors in it’s color scheme, with an excessive amount of horns, markings, wings, accessories, etc, or complex armor/ machinery, is subject to an increase in price
- TEXT HEAVY commissions will be subject to no less than an upcharge of $10
-- "Text heavy" refers to anything with a lot of words that will need to be written or typed out i.e. speech bubbles between characters, song lyrics somewhere on pic
