I've been rewatching Star Trek TNG again, I was worried that it would feel to dated or campy or something but its actually pretty engaging. I have only skipped two episodes, the one where Tasha Yarr fights a lady with a spike ball and the clips show episode from season 2. I did kind of crack up at how earlier on they more action packed scene was like a character typing at a screen while dramatic music swells until the theme song kicks in. I'm debating on if I will try and watch Picard after I finish the show, i hear mixed things about it.

I played that game Shinobi Art of Vengeance, and it was a good time. Im not going to go for 100% though, some of the bonus challenges are just a bit too hard for me. I probably could do it with enough practice but I try to avoid getting angry playing games now. Overall though the game is cool check it out if you want.

Lastly for now, Capcom announced a Mega Man Star Force Collection, yay. I only played the first 2 games, never beat them, so I'm interested to finally get to play the 3rd. Now Capcom has no reason to not make a Legends collection Mwahahaha I actually think that if Capcom wants to bring back Legends with the intention of making more they should remake the games. Because they would have to recast everyone anyways so might as well do that for all the games so they are cohesive.

I have been keeping an eye on the news lately and I can't help but feel allot of the outrage over what happened feels performative. What happened was awful and shouldn't have happened that being said people's reaction to it feels really over the top. Lowering the flag to half staff, moments of silence, dedications before sporting events, getting people fired for speaking ill of him, it makes no sense.


Whole classrooms of children get murdered and nothing happens no one cares we are told to get over it and its the price of freedom. Nancy Pelosi's husband was attacked in their home and there was no outrage, people on the right made fun of him. 3 months ago democrat politicians where murdered in their homes and there was no real outrage, the right didn't care.


Charlie Kirk was a bigoted moron who spread hate and division, he contributed nothing of value to this world, he didn't deserve to die though. if school shootings got this same level outrage that his death is getting than maybe things would be different now, but like I said it's performative. No one is really upset they are acting like this to use his death as a cudgel against their detractors. That's how it comes off to me.

She passed away in the middle of the night, not really much else to say. Im glad i got to say my good byes to her.

Question for artist peoples, I dont know if any of you make all your money from commissions and or patreon, so what do you do for money along with that? with my situation I need to start thinking long term and I was wondering if any one had any good guidance on the subject.

Little update on my life and why I might act a bit weird in the future.

My mom is in the ICU, there is nothing that can be done and she will be moved into end of life care for the foreseeable future.

People keep asking me about commissions and the thing is I kind of stopped doing them because I sort of stopped trusting Paypal. A friend of mine though uses Cash app for their commissions and seems to really like it, so I have been thinking of trying that. I was also wondering do any of you know any thing about cash app? Like is it really good for commissions? Is there any thing i need to know before using it for commissions? Any info would be helpful thank you.

So quite a bit has gone on with me lately so I figured I better update people

First to all the people that send me DM asking about commissions, pleases look towards the "Commissions closed" under my name on my main page ok, thanks. I really only do them on Patreon now any ways.

The biggest thing that happened was awhile ago my mom had weird issues where she would lose feeling in her left leg. It got worse and worse until she needed a walker and then the finally got her an MRI. It was a bouncing baby brain tumor 1/4th the size of her brain in her brain. They where able to remove it but collapsed her lung in the process, also its the kind of tumor that can come back so in like a month or so she has to do chemo again.

Since the collapsed her lung she was stuck in the hospital longer than expected and they didn't really tell her any thing and she started getting mad at all of us. It's kind of interesting me having to be a bad guy and tell her how bad she's acting, try doing that to someone who just just brain surgery. I ended up having to tell her off twice cuz after she got her self out of the hospital the first time she put her self back in only to hate it again and start treating us like the bad guys again.

but now shes home again, and shes doing allot better. The lung is fine, shes almost normal with her left arm and hand, and shes also in PT for her left leg. So things are looken up, she even managed to walk down a small flight of stairs, with help but its progress.

as for me Im mostly just tired lately and I will be taking august off to recover both physicaly and mentally. I picked that month cuz its usually the hottest month and who wants to work supper hard in all that heat. I may also use that time to learn, either learn something new or to improve my current skills, we will see.

So I haven't talked about this here yet so I will now. My mom has been having health issues over the last well year or so, uses with feeling in her leg and what not. So redbubble is making some changes soon and quite a few artists are thinking of leaving the site and I dont blame them. I dont think I will be getting rid of mine any time soon though. I didnt make allot of money with Redbubble so making less dosnt really bother me too much.

The biggest issue for me is now they have some dumb tiers and to do fanart products you need to be in a higher tier. So get those Kim Pine stickers before they get pulled, probably next month. This also sucks cuz I had some fun ideas for Star Trek designs which I'm not gonna waste my time on. Which is a shame cuz "Tasha Yeeted" was a funny idea to me.

So it should be obvious but i wont be doing chibi commissions this year. Commissions on Patreon where tough this month and then I got hit with plumbing issues in my home. I was kicked out of my room /work area for 4 days, I just got it back. The whole ordeal has left me pretty physically and mentally exhausted. So im taking it easy for the rest of the month and into the next month.

Ok so like I have said before I havnt been doing commissions lately cuz I'm unsure about sales taxes. So I havnt been really doing commissions lately, other then the ones for my patrons, and I thought maybe I should explain why.

the short of it is, i got worried about "sales tax" i was never sure if I needed to add it to the cost, and it made me worried i was doing some thing wrong. I have tried looking into it and while I have found a source that says I don't need to do sales takes as long as I and the person commissioning me arnt in the same state, that same source also says that might have changed back in 2018

My mom asked for a coffee mug for xmas and I thought i would go the extra mile and make the design for it my self. I just want to know if there is a place online that does quality prints on the mugs that will last for a long time

Ok so um I might have to cancel Halloween commissions. I just got an email from paypal saying I need to provide a Tax ID number because the IRS will require it soon for any one that make more then $600 with goods and services. The thing is I have never really made enough money to file taxes before so I don't think I have a Tax ID number. I'm kind of freaking out at this moment. No one has ever helped me with this kind of stuff and I don't know what I need to do. When I get a chance I will talk to some family about it maybe they will shed some light

ok so I have done what I can for now, I just have to wait and see what happens. I dont think im in trouble, that being said I should have probably looked into this stuff sooner. I think the reason i got this message is because I use invoices when I do commissions, which I will keep doing I like to try and do things on the level. It will get worked out in time so im not gonna stress about it any more, I will be disabling comments on the journal. Some times getting too much info from too many places can stress me out after I feel i have done what I can so i want to avoid that. Thanks for your comments every one

The costume can be of a copyrighted character but it has to be clear that its your character in a costume, so no masks or wigs (hair styles can be changed but the color of the hair can't). So I just got back from the urgent care and I dont have a hernia, YAY. the Doc wants me to do some hip stretches, use a warm compress and take Tylenol if there is pain. She also told me of a place in town to get a follow up exam that sounds really affordable for some one like me

So i just need to vent a little

I have been having this weird feeling in my groin the past few days and I think its a pulled muscle. Me being the worry wart I am I cant help but think it could be a hernia. Even though Im not showing any really signs of a hernia, like no bulging but i am a bit chubby. If its a hernia that really scares me because I don't have the money to get it dealt with. Im sure I would find a way to pay for it but I would take a it financially. See im unemployed and I dont have healthcare, I looked into Medicaid and the ACA but the ones i got quotes for I cant afford or I didn't get quotes at all. I will probably go to an Urgent care soon seeing as this has been going on for roughly a week and I feel I need to know what's going on.
If worse comes to worse I could start a "Go Fund Me" but I hate asking for hand outs like that, but you gotta swallow your pride some times
