Lookie what the cat dragged in ... No but seriously, hello you all 💜 It has been a while, my longest impromptu "hiatus" yet, far FAR longer than I'd ever wanted. I'm truly sorry for disappearing without even an official notice. Full disclosure, between a few happy life changes (new job, new home in a new state) and challenging familial obligations (sick mom, sick husband, sick kitty), I kinda crashed and burned, and let a number of important things slip through the cracks. Including myself and you dear folks.

I try to hold myself to a higher standard when conducting a small business (it's art, it's fun, but it's ultimately a business) but I fell short of those basic standards this past year. If my silence worried any of you, I apologize. Please be assured that I'm getting my ducks in a row. I just only had enough mental "spoons" to take care of immediately pressing matters. To those of you I still owe work, I will be in contact with you promptly and will do everything I can to make amends for my lapse in communication, including completing the art or issuing a full refund.

As for personal art, I haven't done much of that for myself either. Which is okay! For me, art has its seasons, comes n goes, and it'll ebb its way back in due time. My FA and Twitter will be a little dusty for a while, but this won't be forever :)

Wow, my last journal update was 7 months ago ahhhh let's change that shall we...

Commissions at the moment are closed as I work through my current batch. I was leery of taking on so many at Furthemore but, looks like it was a good move considering that con might've been the last one for a long while... Anywho, my queue should hopefully be done by the end of June. This state lockdown hasn't been too hard on me and my family though the stress of worrying over contracting the virus looms overhead all the time. It's hard to work under those conditions which, to be honest, aren't nearly as bad as how other people are faring.

If you are alone and suffering from isolation exhaustion, please hold on! I can't imagine your struggle right now. Please know this isn't forever and by staying home you're doing your part to flatten the curve and hopefully end this quarantine sooner than later. Don't go outside unless absolutely necessary (but just enough to get some fresh air and exercise) and of course practice social distancing. We will get through this.

Update: Five slots have already been reserved with 10 slots remaining <3

I'm currently open for a range of commission types, with 15 slots available. If you'd like some art of your OCs, fill out my google form https://forms.gle/b8wmMvj69Qw2uTG69 and we'll talk!

Ideally I'd like to open for slots on a monthly basis, so if you aren't prepared to make it this round, there will be more opportunities in the future. I may also do away with the Waiting List since I'll be opening more regularly (and contacting folks individually across a slew of platforms can get a bit cumbersome). All those on the list will be contacted for at least one more time before it's removed entirely.

Hi hi! This is just a heads that I'll be opening for commissions on Monday Nov 4th! I'm finishing up my queue today (aside from two commissioners who still need to get back to meeeeeee) so it'll be clear by the beginning of next week. I'm really excited to see how things go with officially opening online for the first time vs accepting work at cons.

There won't be a time limit or a cut off date, I'll just see if I can fill up 10 - 15 slots and go from there.

I'm also creating a Google form to keep initial correspondence more organized. Then I'll contact you through whichever form of contact you prefer (Telegram, DMs, email, etc) and we discuss your commission further :)

I'm so excited to announce that I'll be tabling at the AnthroCon Artist Alley, along with my stellar friends  snuffit ,  cryptosilver , and  sprech4 ! If you're attending, be sure to stop by and say hello! Old friends, new friends, all are welcome :) I'll mostly be taking commissions, both digital and traditional, and *maybe* some stickers and prints? We'll see!

Hey guys! just wanted to pop in real quick to say I'm still alive, just adjusting to the change in season. I was SO looking forward to the autumn leaves and brisk chilly air, but it also sends my SAD into overdrive. The urge to draw is very much there, but my energy levels just went kaputz. Hopefully I can at least post a few fun doodles sometime soon.

Anywho, how are y'all doing! What do you do when you encounter an art block (or just feeling blah about things you usually love, wherever your passion lies)?

This past weekend Snuffit and I tabled at FA United Artist Alley which was an absolute BLAST! It was my first con in nearly a decade, so I was incredible nervous and unsure of how to conduct myself in a con environment AND hawk my wares to strangers! But the furry crowd scene proved 100x over that you guys are amazing and kind and generous and fun loving.

I let myself have fun this weekend which allowed me to connect with some wonderful con-goers and magnificent table mates! I miss my con buds already xD! If you stopped by my table or even just swiped a business card, feel free to say HI! It was a mighty pleasure meeting all of you sweet wonderful folk <3

Now for commission prices~ This is just a heads up that my prices will be going through an overhaul, as friends, colleagues, and even complete strangers advised me that my prices are too low! It's not my intention to undercut my fellow artists, so I will certainly take their suggestions to heart. The prices won't be bear an astronomical jump, just enough to better reflect the time and energy put into them, my skillset, and my cost of living (VA ain't cheap!!). Expect an updated price sheet soon.

It's been half a millennia since I've started posting art once in a blue moon *lol*, so now's a good time as any to introduce myself, right? Right.

You've all been the sweetest in leaving nice comments and favorites even though I pop on here every so often. I'm not the best at being socially active online. Although it's wonderful meeting new people and oggling over the ABUNDANCE of incredible art here, it can be a bit overwhelming on my wee introverted self. It takes me a small century just to think of replies to comments that aren't just my rambling AHHH THANK YOU THANK YOU??? YOUR ICON IS SO COOL HELLO YOU'RE AWESOME!!??!!!

Still, I couldn't let another day go by without at least showing my appreciation for the lot of you who stop by <3 I hope to be more active in the upcoming weeks, drawing more of my favorite animals like bats, cats, foxes, wolves, deer (and centaurs!!), and ohhhh why aren't there more hours in the day @______@
