Laptop Died
Posted 11 years agoLetting you guys know any internet browsing will be on my phone as my laptop has choosen the time both my mate and i are out of work to die. It was acting strange, the cursor would freeze and the scroll bar would get stuck on the bottom. I shut it down and tried to restart in safe mode. When it turned back on it made a very loud ringing-type noise. I set it to start in safe mode but it froze as it was loading the files to boot up. If anyone has any suggestions i'd appreciate it because its gunna be a long time before we can afford a new laptop

We've both put in all over town to anywhere we qualify for but until one of us hears back from somewhere we need to save up as much as we can. Posted 11 years agoWacom Cintiq 12wx. I bought this a few weeks ago but due to financial issues this baby is up for sale. I bought it used but it's in great condition, very minor wear. I recently put on a posrus screen protector. Comes in the original box with all the cables, pen, install disc, etc.

Posted 11 years agoI got Sai because of the built in line smoothener because in photoshop I'm having issues with jitter. I opened sai and began drawing curved lines and this happened. In the middle of the stroke it has straight lines like the program was trying hard to catch up. I wasn't drawing them fast. I don't understand whats going on. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Posted 11 years agoI bought a Cintiq 12wx off ebay and now I have the option for a warranty through Square Trade for 1 or 2 years. I don't usually buy warranties but this is a large purchase and something I'd like to hold onto for awhile. Is a warranty worth the cost? The 1 year plan is 75.99 and 2 year is 113.99. The 2 year is a little too expensive for me right now but the 1 year may be doable if I get a few more commissions.

Posted 11 years agoI had a bad night but when my mate came home from work this morning he brought me candy and pepsi in glass bottles cuz he knows I love cola in glass bottles. Then I got to watch a stream from one of my favorite artists and I ordered a tablet. A cintiq no less! I was on top of the world then my dad called.
Two days ago I tried to find out what my mom wanted to do for my baby shower. She wanted to have one seperate from my mate's family, I'm not sure why. She didn't explain what she wanted and got frustrated when I told her I didn't understand what she meant. After that she got very upset and refused to talk to me for the rest of the night. When my dad called today he said my mom was so upset she's spending a few days with my aunt. For the last two days she's been calling everyone from her side and my dad's side of the family and telling them if they get an invite to my baby shower not to come. I'm near tears. I can't believe she's acting this way. I don't know what to do.

The first time a buyer sends 20.90 paypal takes .91 for fees, leaving me with 19.99

I don't understand why that .01 made such a difference. Can anyone answer this for me?

Posted 11 years agoI'm trying to improve my anatomy as well as many other things so I'm undergoing a "Bronze Artist Challenge" I'm doing bronze instead of iron because 100 pieces in 100 days seems a bit too intimidating. 4. Details: I wanted to commission a special piece of my fiancé’s character and mine as his Christmas present. I wanted a romantic NSFW scene. I contacted an artist and they were uncertain if they could do it. They gave it a shot but felt they were unable to put out a piece they were happy with. I understand that completely. A refund was given and I logged in to find this on Dec 22. I had no issue with that and I decided to commission CheyennesStudio as she had done icons for my mate and I in the past. I received a reply the same day and after hashing out the details work began. She was very quick and always made sure I was happy with the WIP shots before continuing. I don’t yet have a ref sheet for my character and she checked to make sure marking, etc were correct. She was always very professional and friendly. I mentioned wanting it completed sometime before the holidays were over but I understood if she couldn’t meet said deadline. My commission was completed on Dec 28. I am so happy about how well it turned out. I wanted a romantic, tender moment not just a sex scene and I got exactly what I wanted. I couldn't be happier with both her conduct and the final piece. I highly recommend this artist and my mate and I will likely commission her again.

Pregnancy Update/questions for other moms
Posted 12 years agoI'm about 15 weeks along my first prenatal appointment is in a few days and I'm seeing all these different products and remedies for my lower back pain, my tender breasts and it's a lot of information to sort out and take in. I finally got over the 24hr nausea but my nose is still super sensitive and I still can't stand to be around strong smells and it's frustrating because things I once loved the smell of turn my stomach now. I'm trying to eat healthier and drink my minimum of 10 glasses of water a day and walk but I'm just so tire ALL THE TIME.
So my questions are: When did you start to really feel pregnant? A lot of the time it feels like I'm just fat or sick, I don't feel pregnant.
What products or remedies do you recommend for a first time mom? I've seen so many it's over whelming so I'd like to hear people's personal favorites.
What type of bra do you suggest? I know a nursing bra obviously but is there a certain brand etc? My old ones were already starting to get small before I got pregnant and now they hurt to wear and the under wire rubs me horribly. There is no where around that i can get custom fit for one. Any help is appreciated.
