I downloaded this from the Indie Marketplace on X-Box Live and it is quite the fun brawling platformer. Yes it's not the best looking game ever, but it's all furry and quite a lot of fun really. I recommended at least downloading the free trial to everyone.

So life has pretty much been work, and then be exhausted as of late as the crazy busyness of holiday shopping has commenced at my work. Every day is 8 hours of insane, running around, helping folks as fast as I can, etc etc etc. Leaving me exhausted and tired at the end of the day, so I lazily play video games at night.

As for video games, I played through Paper Mario on Virtual Console, finally beating it last Saturday and now I've started in on Paper Mario: The Thousand Years Door. I really love these games, very fun, great sense of humor, and the GC version just really takes the paper aspects to an inane level.

I've decided on Furry Weekend Atlanta as my first con of 2010, now I just need to find someone with room space. Anyone out there? I'm a friendly cabbit, and can easily pay my room share. =^_^=

Well I'm thinking about doing different cons this year. The only sure thing is Megaplex cause it's local, and of course I'll try and make all the big Florida Events, Elliot's Parties, Furloween and what not, but I'm looking for suggestions of other cons to go to.

I have agreed to go to FC 2011 already, but between now and then I'd like to make 1 or 2 other cons. FWA is popping up in my head a lot as a good con at a good time for me, bu7t then I'd like to do something in the fall and am just wondering whose going to what so I can go where my friends be heh. I'm also pondering going to an overseas con, I've never been out of the US, but I don't know the first thing to do to get a passport and all that junk, and I'd prolly also be terrified out of my skull about screwing something up on the trip and being stranded somewhere away from home.

I had a great time at MFF, especially thanks to  heffboomkonijn and  anji-kun who were just so awesome to hang out with there. Sorry if I spent most of my time with them, just been wanting to for so long and yea I was a douche to a lot who wanted to spend time with me. Sorries again.

Also I was getting kinda intimidated about going around the con in fursuit. Everytime I did I got mobbed, every step I took it was my name being shouted and folks trying to hug and tug and whatever with me, so i kinda didn't suit out and about too much, and did more out of suit hangings or just suiting from party to party at night.

I did get a slight case of con crud, slight runny nose, and slight fever, nothing too terrible and almost gone now though. Work has been hell since I got back having worked Tuesday 3:30am-2:45pm and Wednesday 6am-3:45pm, and now I work Black Friday 3am-1:30pm and Saturday 6am-4:30pm.

Also my right ear is fucked up big time. I always have trouble with air pressure in my ears on flights, and wear Ear-Planes which usually help a bit, but when coming down to Sarasota from Atlanta, my right ear got in tremendous pain regardless, and now I've been hearing really funny through it. No matter how much I try I can't get it to "pop" and hear all these weird noises when air blows past it or anything, hope it fixes itself soon, otherwise I may have to go to the doctor. Luckily my equilibrium is all fine.

Well tomorrow it is finally here. I so can't wait. I leave Sarasota around 1:30 and arrive at Midway at 3:30pm, so can't wait to see who all i see there heh.

Well my Strep Throat is much better today. Just a lil slight discomfort now while swallowing and a slight fever, so much happier now.

I bought the new Weezer album "Raditude" from Amazon MP3's yesterday and it is so very awesome. Even better than the Red Album of last year. The Finished version of "Can't Stop Partyin'" with Lil Wayne (It was in demo form on Alone 2, the Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo from last year originally) is my new favorite song to play non-stop. SO yea I went to the doctor yesterday and I do have strep throat and need to stay home from work till Thursday. My throat is still killing me as no treatment seems to work, and it's extreme pain every time I swallow. I have anti-biotics I've started (Amoxicillan) as well as a recommendation to take Tylenol and Motrin for the fever. As for the pain only thing I'm, supposed to do is gargle salt water and it really isn't helping any. *sigh* prolly have gotten about 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep since I got sick, and that was just thanks to nyquil knocking me out enough so my swallowing didn't wake me up.

But yea I'm on meds and should be feeling better within a day or so.

Merf I woke up with a sore throat today, and it's been steadily getting worse as the day has gone on. And now I have a fever 100.5 to go with it. =-_-= And tomorrow is a work day, a Monday at that which is the second most important day to Tuesdays of the week at my job. *sigh*

Also my work has a stupid rule where you have to call out sick 2 hours before your shift, so since I work at 6am I need to get up at 3:30am, see how I'm feeling and call before 4 if I'm too sick. This rule so isn't fair, especially for early morning workers.

But yea now I'm all stressed because I don't know who else can do the new releases at my work, yet I don't want to go to work and end up having strep throat and give it to my co-workers or our customers. I am going to the doctor tomorrow no matter what, just might not be till after work if I'm feeling better.

Gah my throat hurts so much and tylenol isn't doing much =-_-=

So once again I'm heading to Homestead, Florida for the IRL this upcoming weekend. I'm driving down, by myself sadly since I can't find anyone who wants to go with me, on Thursday Oct 8th and returning Sunday Oct 11th.

Earlier this year a friend posted a blog about his birthday and I said I never post mine cause I feel those who care will ask me when it is, and he responded with maybe my friends think i don't want them to know, so to make a long story short I said I'd post when my birthday is before it and see what happens. So yea my birthday is October 19th. :P

My take on the current drama:

I think it wrongly portrays furries as heterosexual monogamous couples who engage in fursuit sex, when the majority of furs are gay or bisexual, have multiple partners and don't own fursuits :P

But yea it really has been blown out of proportion, there's no need for trolling/death threats towards anyone, I've always felt if you have nothing nice to say, you don't say anything. Although I don't understand how someone agrees to go on these garbage talk shows though, Tyra is barely a step above Jerry Springer, and why would anyone in there right mind agree to go on a show like that for any reason? Was the couple tricked into thinking it was a classier show like Ellen, Oprah or Late Night or something? I just don't understand it, I thought everyone on those shows (jerry, Tyra, Montel, etc) were just paid actors not real. Most are though at least.

Sorry to everyone for not being around to chat much lately, and when i have been around for being so flakey and unresponsive at times. I just haven't been in the greatest of spirits, and work has been giving me a hassle about my off request for MFF, and still haven't given me full approval for it, and it's been bringing me down,a s I'm so looking forward to my only chance of attending a big con this year.

Aside from that my life has just been really boring and uninteresting, and I just live in a routine of going to work, and playing video games, without much else to break that up and it's been getting to me. Sadly it's not going to change for a while as it all really depends on how much contract work my bf ends up getting. He has been getting a bit lately, and financially we are doing great, but still not comfortable enough to spend money on anything just in case contracts dry up or something in the future. We try really hard to always make sure we add money to savings every month, it's kind of a rule we have, and as of late that means being as frugal as we can. No going out for entertainment, and rarely going out to dinner instead eating things like ramen and mac & cheese while we save and save and save for our retirement someday.

So yea I've haven't been chatty or rp-ey lately, just cause when i do I get even more depressed thinking about hanging with friends who I prolly won't see for a good long time, or I start to desire more social interaction and I can't right now due to the money savings.

Instead of Fursuit Bowling this weekend, we'll be attempting Livingston's Amusements as an alternate. No fursuits are going to be allowed at this point, but we'll see how this works out as a furry get together, perhaps something we do once a month.

Well I had a wonderful time at Megaplex, I am sorry though I ended not getting any sketches. I well started to worry about spending too much so I refrained from any spending other than room and meals and gas while there. But I will keep the ideas for a future con. So today was the 1 week mark of my quitting smoking, and it's actually been a lot easier so far than I thought it would be. I do now and then have a slight urge to have a cig, but mostly it's fine, although I have been snacking more as a result.

Last night we had a fun party here at our place, my fox Ratchet,  ferloo,  deadmeat,  scarlettseraph,  rrruff,  dibbun, Snowy, Charles, and there bud whose name I forget =-_-=, all came over, and had lots of fun times, Rock Banding, watching The Mighty Boosh, and some AMV Hell, and all kinds of stuff really.
