Want to keep it short and sweet - but basically the WHOLE country has been involved in a massive black out; no internet, no phone reception, no lights on the streets, no power on anything, and I mean NOTHING. Imagine living in an era without power, electricity, etc. - well, Spain is currently going through that right now. Hope y'all are doing good and enjoying the festive season still! 💜

I want to announce that I will be taking some days off (from December 31st to January 6th)! As most of y'all already know, I've been really sick lately (just now I'm dealing with what I'm guessing is a stomach bug) - that and the huge burnout from not being able to actually rest since I've been working every single day to make up for the sick days I've had to take off or had to slow down. Additionally, festivities here end on January 6th with the Three Wise Men day, so I have a lot of time to spend with family still!

I'm just, overall, exhausted; specially creatively and emotionally. So, following the advice from my therapist, I'm taking some days off to not only let my body properly recover, but to also recover mentally and to have a clearer mind for creating!!

This means I won't be drawing and everything will be paused except adopt uploads (sadly, I can't afford to completely stop uploading). I have adopts already finished and prepared to cover for the days I'm taking off + I'll still answer to messages and get back to people as much as I can, although with a considerable delay as I will minimize my time online.

When I get back, I'll focus 100% on owed work and hopefully everything will go way more smoothly since I'll be more rested!

Recently, the islands where I reside in were hit by a weather phenomenon called "calima" which is basically a heavy haze and dust storm coming from the sahara desert. We get these on a monthly basis, but this month's was a very extraordinary one with dangerous and insane winds that reached 160kpmh. This affects everyone's health as the quality of air decreases; but I'm asthmatic and suffer from other health issues, so I've been basically suffering cold-like symptomps due to the allergies on top of my asthma, so it's been like hell. I've been INCREDIBLY sick and very much bend bounded.

UPDATE: After talking and discussing with the person who filled the chargeback, it seems it wasn't intentional from the buyer's part - apparently their bank randomly decided that payments were fraudulent and they had to change their card; and that's why, apparently, the refund happened. I did not share the person's username nor plan to do so to respect their privacy - I always want to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, and like I said, their explanation and apology seemed genuine and we're sorting things out on private.

SO someone decided to do a chargeback of 83EUR in one of my most recent adopts under the premise "it was an unauthorized transaction" (the most common tactic for scammming). I literally had my rent money ready up until now, with only 7 days left, I'm absolutely mortified and destroyed.
This is the adopt in question - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58572842 ;; they also purchased the clean lines which were almost finished up, so the total comes up to 83EUR.
I NEED TO REHOME/RESALE IT ASAP.

I'm still awaiting the response from this person, but most likely it's a scam, all chargebacks that go under the "unauthorized transaction" method is most often people who regret the purchases, ask the bank to put them as "unauthorized transactions" to get away with the scam. I went ahead and revoked the rights of ownership of this person with the adoptable, and I'm looking to resell it. I'm not going to provide information of the user as of yet because I want to respect their privacy and give the benefit of the doubt in casey they do get back to me and respond; but even then, the adoptable is getting rehomed.

I need the money urgently for rent; please, if you're not interested in purchasing, consider sharing and spreading the word.
