Howdy, I'm still kicking, I've just been busy.

Bit ago I mentioned closing comms to get a standard job, and I ended up getting my old job back; Fortunately the co-worker who made it hell has since retired, and they really wanted and needed me back...
Unfortunately, they needed me so badly they've since been stretching me as thin as they can without making me officially a full-time employee.

Suffice to say, I'm very tired and very short on free time. What little I've drawn has been for my main account, and even then most of it's only in my Discord currently; If you wanna join and hang out or just lurk for art, be my guest, there are links on my Carrd.

Not much else to add, please stay safe and keep your loved ones close.

Been a bit since I last posted an update journal, huh?

Well to be brief, as the title says I'll be closing commissions for the foreseeable future. I want to thank everyone who's commissioned me or shown interest in doing so, I appreciate your support more than text can convey, unfortunately though I've come to find out I just can't support myself doing commissions anymore, So I'm looking into more traditional employment.

I've decided to start hosting a modded Minecraft server, if you wanna play come and join!
It's using a custom modpack, mostly a few decoration and QoL mods, alongside Create and some Create addons.

Recently caught covid, that wasn't fun, Pretty much put everything on hold for a few weeks. And now I have this awful cough that won't go away, so that's lovely.
I recently had to put commissions entirely on hold because my burn out was getting so bad I started to forget why I even do art in the first place. It's getting better at least, might even have stuff to upload that isn't commissions for once, but we'll see.
On a more positive note, I recently got some new kittens, so my family and I are hoping they'll help bring some life back into our home. They're getting very comfortable with us, so much so one of them refuses to let me type this journal.

Might open commissions later this month, we'll see. For my unabridged update, you can check my main account.

Onto the "why" I did tho; Simply put, commissions full-time are burning me out both physically and mentally, and I'm not even making more than I spent monthly. So I've started a Substar to hopefully give myself some breathing room to draw my own stuff without sacrificing time and energy that could be spent doing art for money. As well as maybe give myself the chance to physically rest and not ruin my wrist... but we'll see about that part.

That being said, I've been calling my Substar a "Tip Jar Plus" because, while I can't promise actual rewards for joining it, I figured I could at least give folks who wanna support it the ability to sway what I draw in my own time a little bit. I'll be doing polls on there for what character I draw in whatever scenario I feel up to drawing at the time. I wanna try and do them monthly, but we'll see what happens.

FA's new policies are live now, I guess, so my gallery has been trimmed to accommodate them. To be blunt, I'm very much not happy with it but it's the way it has to be. Fortunately, however, I've been busy the past few weeks...

I heavily recommend following me there if you want to see everything I draw, since now a lot of it will not be here on FA. I've even considered outright leaving FA all together, but that wouldn't be wise considering the next point of interest;

I'm going to be opening commissions full-time now!

I've recently quit my job at the local grocery store to pursue art as a means to pay my rent and feed myself; So I'm hoping that goes well, but only time'll tell, Stay tuned for when they open proper!

So, those new policy changes...

Well, needless to say it effects my gallery quite substantially; I would say almost half my gallery involves Pokemon, especially Riolu, so unfortunately I'll be removing any and all art involving such "problematic" characters some time this month to avoid my account being obliterated from orbit. I encourage you save what you want, but don't worry if you don't my art won't be gone forever. I'm looking into alternative sites like Weaysl or Itaku but haven't set up any since I've been busy juggling life and maintaining my main account due to the same policy issues.

Also I'm quitting my job today, more on that later probably... >u>;

I wanna get a Wind Waker Randomizer playermodel of one of my characters and I'm willing to pay money for it if anyone is knowledgeable and willing to do so!

With my recent Ritz doodle-pages I drew Ritz in fun outfits and small ideas, but I had an idea to do another with Cooper and let all of you guys suggest some outfits and small ideas! I can't guarantee how many I'll add but if I really like the idea I may just do it ;3

A while back I drew a character named Fuzzipop cuz I was a fan of the artist’s work before they essentially vanished from the internet. The pic turned out pretty good, it was a lot of fun to draw, and a lot of folks seemed to like it.

I kinda wanna draw them more now, but I’m on the fence about it cuz I’m not sure if that would be disrespectful for lack of a better term, so what do you guys think? Would you like to see me draw more Fuzzi, would it be acceptable for me to even do so?
