So uhhh sorry for not posting for almost a month QwQ, I've been taking a break from art for the most part. I really needed it.
I never really talk about it but I've been going through quite a bit the past few months, been very stressed, my mental health has been...uh ig all over the place? Kinda hard for it not to be ill be honest.
Ive been stressing about my partner possibly losing his job for quite a bit due to a uh...not so great employee trying to get him fired. Worst part is it might be working.
(Not So Brief summery on the issue; My partner is supposed to replace this guy who is SUPPOSEDLY leaving to go and work for IT somewhere else. He's been saying for the past 4 months that he's leaving soon but hasn't. He's been making my partner's workplace hell that he dreads to go into work each day. Taking away work from him, trying to make him look bad by lying and blowing up simple mistakes out of proportion, threatened to get him fired because my partner wanted to install two factor authentication on a security admin panel...which idk why the guy is pressed about that...I would hope you'd WANT that there like what-.
My partner has tried solving the issue by going to the board but the guy keeps lying and blowing things out of proportion. Also apparently a lot of people have an issue with this guy. The guy has been calling the mayor (oh yeah my partner works in a village hall) and saying stuff about my partner behind his back but when my partner emails the mayor to try and get a convo with him about the issue and side of the story its all silent. It's been really frustrating because now it just feels like a matter of time before my partner gets fired and there's like...nothing we could do. There's no HR, the board can't do much to help. And my partner is on probation for the job til Nov so they just...basically get away with firing him.
It's been extremely stressful for both of us. My partner is our only source of income because I physically can't work a job and the job market is literally hell rn. Me and my partner are basically fucked if he loses his job and I gotta sit here thinking about working 10x more than I have and looking at which items I own to sell in order for my partner to have car insurance and a car. Also the last time my partner got unemployment, he only got 200 every two weeks...thats nowhere near enough to pay for even one of those things. I just hate it, I wanna help him so bad but idk what to do other than be there for him and give suggestions. My partner IS looking for a new job in case the worst happens but considering how bad the job market is rn I don't see a job coming for a while. The last time he was unemployed it took 6 months to find a job...)

Also sorry for the wall of text ik it's a lot.
But not only ontop of that I got my own mental health issues, I never feel like im good enough and I feel broken and out of place because I can't work a job and function in society. It hurts a lot that I have to put more pressure on my partner to keep a job because I need food to eat. I do what I can to help him with what I got and take him out every now and then to show my appreciation for what he does for me.
There's more personal stuff but I don't wanna drag this on for too much longer. So to put it shortly my mental health has been in the gutter for a while, I spiraled but im ok rn. I got a wonderful partner and friends to be there for me. It's just been a lot for me, I really am lucky to have people like them in my life.

I know I never really post anything of this sort. Im not one for being open about personal problems but you know what, fuck it what do I have to lose at this point.
But yeah...that's why I haven't been posting for a while. I prob won't be consistent for at least the rest of Oct. I really wanted to work on Night Falls but I can't bring myself to rn. I'm also sorry for springing this all of a sudden and if it triggers anyone. I just really wanna let out some stuff and maybe get advice for my partner's work situation cuz i'll be honest I have no idea what to do and ik a good amount of furries work in IT and stuff.

I hope next month is better...I'd hope so. I mean my birthday is next month so ig I have that to look forward to. Oh and ZA in almost 2 days from now. Im gonna play the heck outta that fr. I need a good game to destress that isn't Dying Light. Every time I think about that game I can taste the Spicey Queso Funyuns because I'd eat them whenever I play. So now I get hungry every single time I play that game. I crave the rings man. Why do they cost so much ;-;

ANYWAYS heres a lil update for yall on the comic :3
Since the last update I haven't done TOO much BUT since the first year anniversary of the comic is coming up yk my ahh gonna haul it to get the next chapter out around that time. I uploaded Origin in late October so i wanna have chapter 3 be out by then. Speaking of Chapter 3 you MIGHT see some changes in style and stuff. I'm heavily debating on if I should just keep the shading to a minimal or not. I keep looking back on the other chapters and im not really all that happy with the shading of the chars so I might just say fuk it and just do minimal shading with them. Plus I don't even shade like that anymore lol. Idk it would save some time and energy in making the comic tbh so I might do it. Ik it might look weird compared to the other chapters but eh whatever I'll just change the other pages when im done with the comic. I already wanna change the backgrounds of chapter 1 anyways. But yeah, ill leave that stuff for future me to deal with. Gotta make it exists first, make it pretty later.

NOW with my progress of the coming chapters:
Chapters 1-2: DONE (Will need to remake)
Chapter 3: Writing and Drafts DONE (Pages are waiting to be made on my tablet) Gonna be 36? Pages btw...oh cod...why so many.
Chapter 4: Writing DONE (Im actually working on the draft rn lol im 8 pages in already.)
Chapter 5-6: Writing DONE (Waiting to be drafted up)
Chapter 7: Writing is in progress (not that far into writing it atm but i'll get there)
Chapters 8-14: Waiting to be written (ik roughly what I wanna write but damn its gonna take foreverrrrrr)

ALSO I wanna see what i can do about getting stickers out of the characters btw :3 considering its almost the anniversary of ORIGIN. I already do have some sticker designs for Chapter 1, still gotta get Chapter 2's set done tho. I can make my own stickers just gotta find a decent place to sell them on. I also have a cool idea if i ever wanna sell physical copies of the comic in the future :3 I won't blab too much but I'll just say its pretty cool ;3

Anyways thats pretty much it for a NF update. I will say this tho, there's a chance ya'll wont hear from me for a while. Prob might hold off on posting and making a ton of new art like I have been the past month. As much as i wanna draw all the time, I wanna focus on this as well as something else I have planned. So since Artfight is over I might as well update ya'll on what ill be up to this month.

Project 1: Night Falls. Still gonna be working on the coming chapters. Honestly gonna start just spinning a wheel to see what ill be doing cuz my ahh is so indecisive of what to do lol. Hopefully tho I should be able to get at least 1 chapter or so out before 2025 ends.

Project 2: NimNomSweetDrop. Kinda stuck rn with this one since the only person programming has been busy and not productive haha (my bf). But i'll still mess around with assets and animations. Hopefully ill make some progress with it too :3333 Plus i still have the story and dialogue to do and then have my team look at and revise it.

Project 3: Haunted. I ALSO gotta mess with this one a lot. More story wise cuz thats the only real thing I can do at this point. Tho I DO wanna mess with different mediums to see what I would like the game to look like.

Project 4: Shop/Commission Site. YUP I wanna make my own shop and commission site. Also a portfolio place as well. I want all that stuff in one. I gotta mess around with a few things but idk I feel like i'd enjoy doing it. I've always wanted to make stuff so hopefully sometime i'll get around to doing it. It would make it easy to make merch of stuff whenever those other projects get finished. That is if ppl want them lol. Maybe someday.

I also wanted to work on some unfinished animations I got and post em to YT whenever I get the chance.

I alsoooo wanna try my hands at fursuiting again. Making them that is. my Egg one turned out pretty nice but I know I can do better. Might make Riv next time honestly. If I get the extra money I'll def will. And heck if it goes well I could open cheap commissions for them ;3

I've been practicing with more scene artworks recently, I wanna get better at them in case ppl wanna commission me for them in the future. I wanna make the best art that I can. I feel more proud of my work tho ngl. I've improved at lot :3

But yeah, I got a LOT of stuff I plan to do. I kinda have to considering im unemployed but I got this! >:3 Hopefully you'll see those projects come to life soon.

It's the end of the month so you know what that meanssss.
To start it off im sure yall saw me upload the entirety of Chapter 2. Took an entire MONTH to finish chapter 2 and my godddddd never gonna do that again cuz DAMN that stressed me out. I just wanted to have a month of rest before Artfight and it was already 6 months since the last chapter. But hey we're here and I made it. I decided to put more effort into the backgrounds cuz I hate the first chapters ones. Might revamp the bg for it someday, maybe if I make physical copies of it in the future.

Gonna start working on Chapter 4 and 6 a bit. Gotta start drafting and writing so work dont pile up like crazy. I hopefully will finish both those by the end of next month :3 unless I and cracked up with energy one night and write another chapter in full in the span of 2 hours lol. Not the first time that happened.

But yeah not too much other than finishing chapter 2 lol. But I shall keep moving. I hope I don't overdue Artfight too much so I can get back to work on it.

(also im getting a new kitten soon :3 and im gonna be an uncle soon too. very eventful summer ill have lol)

just realized I haven't posted here in a while. I've been pretty busy the last couple months or so, me and my partner and friends are making a video game so I've been focused with that the past two months, the other ones I've just kinda been going through a lot irl. I've been tired, but eventually ill just post a big chunk of art I've been making since I last posted. It's quite a bit for sure.
Hopefully soon I can show that all my work paid off, being a game director feels weird and honestly eepy. lol.

Hia! Im back! Just wanted to give some sort of update on our videogame project since it's been 2 months or so.
Not much is happening with the minigame we are currently working on due to me being very overwhelmed by our next step in the works but hopefully I'll be able to pull through.
We are starting to work on other things for our project outside the minigame, finally we are starting to write stuff down on what we want with our full game and the story. The rough draft of what we want the beginning and day 1 to look like are done, and I hope to continue with this stuff because it's a major part of our game as a whole and effects every part of the games including minigames to an extent. So that's what we are doing so far. And when I feel better I'll be working on Nim Nom's house :3 yay

sorry for not doing much, been focused on a lotta other stuff and I'm starting to get pains in my left hand and can't push myself in fear of developing joint problems in my wrist and fingers.

I am posting here cuz I am kinda getting desperate for commissions. I don't have a job because I mentally and physically cannot handle one. I am starting to get a bit stressed about money because I don't wanna rely on my partner for basic needs. He doesn't make a whole lotta money and has other things he has to pay for like car payments and insurance. Hia! Just wanted to make a post about what's going on with my projects and everything else going on in my life rn.

IRL stuff: me and my partner got covid unfortunately which sucks. It slowed me down a bit due to constant headaches and so on. Other than that we are doing ok, my partner is feeling better which is nice, tho he can't go to work ofc which sucks since he's the one that has to pay for the both of us since I don't get that many commissions. I'm sure we will figure stuff out tho, just a bit worried and in the back of my mind atm.

Haunted Project: The progress has slown down quite a bit, my partner has only been able to release 1 update since the last post a month or two ago. This is mostly due to me being a bit burned out in general when it comes to art, and the art that I am doing is either low effort drawings, doodles for my tiktoks I post, or commissions. I'm trying to get back into things just been going through a lot and being stuck with other projects.

Here are some other projects that I have on my belt that I don't get much of a chance to talk about:

Night falls: This is my comic project that I am still in the works on. So far I have been stuck on the last two chapters. Whats mostly getting me is having this push to have people actually get to know the characters more and flesh them out some more. I struggle with writing so it's been a bit rough for me to get ppl to actually care about these characters. So I've been stuck the past few months wondering what direction I should choose when it comes to these characters. I might have to end up extending the series all together by giving it an extra chapter or two just to get to know the characters more. Other tha script writing I am 3 ish chapters in I think when it comes to drafts of the actual comic pages. None of the progress I made with drafts will be scrapped tho which is nice.

The Observer (SuperStar)/Midnight Thoughts: This is more of a video esq storytelling about Egg (my possum sona) and so on that I have planned for tiktok and hopefully youtube? I have 5 vids out on The Observer account and a playlist on my Egg The Possum account. Im starting to get back into all that storytelling stuff because why not it's fun. Hopefully I will post more about this stuff soon ;3

Fursuit: I am making my own fursuit for the first time ;3 well I have been. It's a partial since it's of Egg and he has clothes :3 Rn I have the foam head carved and am working on how to fur it, also am working on the eyes. Mayyyyybe I will show pics but idk yet :3

Anyways that's kinda it? Ik I have a lot of projects but since I mentally and physically cannot get a job I have to keep myself occupied somehow.

Hey there, been a month prob almost 2.
I am here with an update on our game project! We are still working on the minigame but it was finished enough to start game testing with some of our discord members/friends. We ended up releasing PrePreAlpha and finishing all we needed to accomplish to move onto PreAlpha. We made a list of everything we needed to accomplish which helped us a lot. Now that we are working on PreAlpha I got some new stuff for me to make assets for.
I am working on everything Settings Menu and it has been a bit of a challenge because again, I am not working on a drawing tablet, but on a small track pad on this gaming laptop. It is very hard to write words on it. My partner is working very hard as ever, taking breaks a lot recently though because he works lot.
Our next step is adding in some of the easter eggs in the game which will be fun for me. Might be hard for my partner but I'm sure he will pull through. I got some fun stuff to add :3
But I think that's all for PreAlpha which is great. I can't wait to see everything put together and working, I hope that everything ends up well.
Also we think we will be releasing this specific minigame this year, don't know what month yet but we know it will be this year. (making all the items for Nim Nom's House will probably take FOREVER lol)
That's kinda it rn, not too much progress atm because of irl things but hopefully the progress will pick up at some point.

Been a month (wow already??) So I might as well provide an update!
I ended up making a TikTok account for our game in particular which is going decently atm, not many posts rn but we will get there.
As well as that we are slowly moving along with the game, been a bit rough because my partner who is coding the game together is very busy most days and cannot work. But despite that we are getting somehow closer to the minigame being finished and almost ready for release. Because of that we have also been getting some people together to play test the game when it's ready which is nice. We will probably only have them test the base game for the time being and then if all goes well have a select few test the full version.
My partner has finished working on the score board and has finally begun adding the rest of the drops in the game. He's struggling with percentage drops but besides that all has been fine.
And since my partner has been doing well with catching up I have finally begun finishing up all that's left to do with the base game, like making a game over screen and menu (still working on that atm), and will be working on settings and stuff :3 (thens the fun part, making easter eggs hehe >:3)
But yeah, so far so good, and trying to stay productive. It's been a bit rough but I am glad we are still able to make progress, and I sure cannot wait to show u the finished product!

So far so good! Like I said in a previous post we've been working on the minigames first and it's been going well. Stuff is starting to slow down a bit due to my partner having other things to do but all is well.
Just about everything on my end for the basic stuff is done, just a few more things to do and I should be done with our first minigame.
We both have decided we wanted to release it as it's own thing for 99 cents to help fund our bigger project to possibly add more things to make it better. But we will have this minigame in our bigger project as well (and we are thinking of ideas to give ppl in game rewards in Haunted if they ever purchased the minigame at any point, don't know if that's possible atm but we have a WHILE so who knows :3)

I am very excited to share this project, and hopefully everyone will see the minigame in the near future. I will post more about it as time progresses, we still have a lot to do being a two person team who is very new to making video games, but hopefully everything turns out well as we learn more about making these games.

That's just about it for now, the only thing I will say is get ready for a bit of my work because I will be posting more info and looks about the minigame for the next few days (unless I forget lol, it's a busy month tbh) but I'll try ;3

Me and my partner have been getting to work on a project we've been talking about for a while.
We're working on a video game but since none of us have any experience we are gonna start with a couple mini games first to get the hang of it. I'm working on the pixel art and animations while he codes them into unity.
I'm very excited to do this and I hope soon I am able to show off some progress ;3

I'll be making a new folder for any stuff I post about it, it's really fun and I wanna just show off our passion project ^^

My preferred name is Henry, I'm a trans man who is an artist. I make content and projects for fun. And as of right now I am working on a comic project called Night Falls which is a comic about a world inhabited by cats and magic.
I've been working a lot on that comic, and as of right now I am trying to finish up the script which is over halfway done right now.
Another thing about me is that I am an experimental artist, which means I just mess around with stuff, experimenting with new techniques, styles, and tools. I do it all for fun and for ways to improve on myself as an artist. I tend to not stick with an art style for too long, constantly trying to improve my skills.

Another thing about me is that I LOVE video games, I play a lot of Pokemon, (recently been getting into Skyrim), and much more. I am a BIG pokemon nerd lol, I ramble to my bf about it a lot.
