Just thought I'd update you guys while I have the internet (glorious interneeetttt).

I've settled in well in the flat, its so quiet.. to quiet. The neighbours seem nice, I've only met a handful and only know the names of two of them. Debbie from number 14 and George the Boxer who lives in the next upstairs flat along XD Decorating the main rooms is almost done, I just have to start my bedroom and then possibly repaint the kitchen but that can wait. The flat and moving in process has been a bit of a bitch - things that should have been checked and sorted before I moved in were not and so I have spent countless hours housebound waiting for people to turn out and 3 times no one showed... angry phonecalls seem to get the job done!

On to more positives.. April has been a good month so far, new home to start with. Saw Within Temptation on their Hydra tour with Delain as a support act, both were AMAZING!. I also got promoted from a volunteer to official meet staff at I am the Venue Liaison there now, so I deal with all the venue bookings, complaints etc.

I wont be able to upload here still but I do upload some pics of WIP's and stuff on my official Facebook art page: www.facebook.com/RixieTheVamprycanArt until I can get a new laptop, internet and a scanner XD I've been working on mostly gifts for birthdays - as my colouring method takes a while. I will still be taking orders for commisions but will only be able to post WIP's over on that page so unfortunately if you don't have facebook I wont be able to take orders.

I get the keys for my very own flat tomorrow (Monday) and will begin moving in :D

So December marked the full year that I had been with Spoon, the longest I have ever been in a relationship -- I know.. that's not really a record but I have had to deal with a few not-so-good ones. Things are going well I love this guy to bits - I hope we have another year full of love and shenanigans. Well, for "Christmas" I got a ticket for two people to go on a "Ghost Hunt" with Haunted Happenings in Ordsall Hall - Only my favouratest building in the entire planet ever. <3 <3 <3 So now I need to buy an IR cam :T ~ If Spoon can't come my good friend said he is interesting in coming along - and it gives me an excuse to mooch at his new place like old times :) Looking forward to it ^^

I also need to get out of the house more.. a lot more.. if people ever feel the need to want to come hang about in Manchester - just pop me a message either here or anywhere else. ^^

I will also get round to doing some art .. at some point.. when my hands decide to stop being shit and allow me to draw something good. :T

So this is basically a bit of a more.. diary journal XD

Thursday - Ahh Thursday.. a joyful day of annoying commuters on the train and the underground and the DLR :D Raided London with and somehow managed to get lost on the way back.. stupid transport system. Stupid London!!

Friday - First day of the actual con. Well.. the security and organisation of things was wank. They could not even organise a piss up ion a brewery if they tried!!! When we finally got inside the building.. we had to queue .. yet again ... to get our wristbands GAH!!! When we eventually got in it was fun as it was quiter and gave us chance to have a good look round, and spend about 3 hours talking to a Pancham cosplayer called Will - who was lovely. I also got asked to cosplay Yachiru again on Sunday - I was meant to be Eevee but I agreed to it..

Saturday - Disaster day more like. It was packed!! I cosplayed as InuYasha... walking round busy cons with barefeet yikes! Fortunately I did not get stood on but I did have in incident with my contact lenses; one split in half and for the rest of the day my eyes were blurred and had to use Ocio as my guide-leopard. In the meantime there were more than one of InuYasha for once which was good because I managed not to get asked for photos every 5 seconds. So wuite eventful, didn't find any of my old EXPO friends until I messaged via facebook - only to find out they were in the same hotel the entire time.

Sunday - Ahh the last day of Con :D And the best IMO. I met up with my old bleach friends and got some fab photos in the photoshoots :D Poor Eevee went unworn but oh well!!! XD So after photoshooting we went to go pester Em - who writes Deoxyribo Nucleic Anarchy (you should go read that it involves cat-people and is awesome). I managed to steal.. I mean kidnap.. I mean... get given a signed cut out of Helix (my fave char in the comic) from Em and was then convinced by her to make an entry in the Halloween art comp.. (I will upload that shortly). Fingers crossed I do well as I get art supplies as a prize wooo :D I also finally met Anne Stokes :D She was lovely :D

The run on the beach was fun though, he found some labrador and german shepherd friends who were quite happy to fun miles across the beach with him until we caught him. Then later that day a Collie was walking by and Nanook went to play, snapped his collar. The guy picked the dog up and Nanook jumped up at them and caught the dog's leg with his mouth because the dog growled.. -_- Idiot people picking up their dogs when a really big one is trying to play with it.

Been open for a while and received no requests.. could really do with some, times are hard (ie. Mother keeps needing my money for shit and has cleared y bank account so my dad can go to work and for food.. so I'm left on the breadline.. yet again... )

I'm not asking for £25 for a sketch, I ask for £5 for a sketch, being a traditional artist it may take a few pieces of paper to get it perfect, not like I can just press delete. If you can help out that would be great, and it will keep me busy with art - as I only get a few hours after the baby is asleep it will give me something to do in those free hours.

It's very rare I ask friends help for monies, or even anyone for that matter, so ANYTHING would be great right now..
