XD I spent so long on it because GIMP crashed on me and deleted all the work I'd done on it so I had to do it all over again!

Recently Nanook has been getting really snappy nd despite COUNTLESS amount of times I have told my Dd to get his bits cut off, he refused to do so and because of this he's started becoming really agressive to the point he's snapped at Jared.
SO after this my Dad has decided he might be going to the vet... I wish he would have just listened to me in the first place months and months ago to get him neutered..
Need to do some art to keep my mind from it.. people throw refs at me :T

I have larger meals, he eats a lot of snacks so I don't really know.

Sneaky Previews

Just thought I would give you all some sneaky previews of what I am working on. Those who have me on faceybooky may have already seen them.
WIP 1 - The sketch. Simple 5h sketch which was later topped up with B and cleaned up.
WIP 2 - The Water colours. Looks pretty messy here, but that was the idea, of course it is not going to be left like this. The watercolour paint was mainly for the background, but it makes for a nice effect under the pencils, like using coloured paper basically.
WIP 3 - Penicils I have now begun to top up the piece with my trust Faber-Castell Polychromos and WHSmith's Colouring pencils, which blend together so beautifully. Here you can see the tail partially coloured and some of the underbellyy (its faint but it's there) I also added some pencil colouring to highlight the bubbles ^^.
This is a challenge I have set for myself and I would love to hear your opinions of this new technique I am trying out. Just comment below on either of the WIP's or all of them as a whole, I would really appreciate any critique - be it good or bad!

Diagnosis + Arts
General | Posted 12 years agoWell the doc's finally sorta found out what was wrong with me.. well one of the things.
Had numerous tests which all came back negative until a blood test. Veins were crap but after 3 attempts and a near panic attack later.. the nurse finally got some blood from me to send off, it came back with... Low Iron, Yay Anaemia. No surprise really due to a rather ridiculous amount of blood loss (I know its TMI but that's the un-diagnosed bit).
So they switched my contraceptive pill to a different one and it seems to be going well but I have to wait a few weeks until the trial is over to see if it is actually working, which fingers crossed it does otherwise its back to go camp in the doctors waiting room. Yay.
Artwork, oh that rare and elusive thing Rix does! I have done some, I have yet to upload it - I need mum to sort out the scanner. Derp. Those of you that have me on Facebook will have seen some of it taken on my crappy phone camera D:
I will also be trying out some techniques to improve the way I colour in my art, but I am not sure how well it's gonna turn out but if all else fails I will stick to the usual.
I am hoping to get the full set of 160 colours of Faber-Castell Polychromos, but these amazing pencils come with a large price tag which averages at around £120 and I have lots of stuff to save up for this year. So I don't see me getting them any sooner unless family give me lots of notes for my birthday :3.

:T Yeah things are going okay but I don't feel like it. The only motivation I have had to do anything at all is moving on to a new city in Pokemon black.
Even when I spent my day with my two fave people ever.. I came home and felt like I hadn't been out at all and felt like I had been sitting in an isolated room listening to simple plan all day.
Sigh.
I've not been able to draw anything or write much concerning RP or my own story. My Inspiration level is at an all time low.
I think the worst part of it is not even knowing WHY I feel like that. -Grumbles-

RIP Marley
General | Posted 12 years agoGoes to show how much you get attached to some animals. Been bawling my eyes out all morning since I saw Marley.
Marley was a wonderful dog and possibly the mardest yet maddest doberman I have known ever. Gonna miss nearly getting headbutted in the face when trying to give you a scratch under the chin, dopey running away whenever another dog barked and of course sharing licks with Nanook over the fence.
Its just so not fair that such a young dog has had to be taken away, but it was all for the best. Poor lad. I can't even imagine how devastated his owners are, but if I am like this it must be even worse for Michele and Paul.

Anyways.. I'm backish from my art Hiatus.. (dealing with babies gives you not a ot of free time) and have been sketching some arts ( I know.. shocking ) which wil be uploaded over the next few days :D

The DNA test for Jared's paternity came back Negative.. which means the only person I knowingly had sexitimes during when he was conceived isn't the Father..
I honestly am in probably the most shock I have been in, in all my life. My head is a mess and It's hard to contemplate that something has happened to me that I am unaware of. I just do not understand. Nor do I even have an idea who would do such a thing.
