General | Posted 15 years agoIt has come to my attention recently, that there are some things in this life we can help, and others - in my apparent view, a majority - we cannot.
Sexual Identity is a massive no no. How often have you fellow Homosexuals, Bisexuals and Pansexuals been asked "why did you choose to be this way?" or something along those lines? Obviously, it isn't something you can help.
The death of someone close - of course, however saddening this is, it is not something you can help.
Another thing no-one i know can help is Love.
Ah, love. A complete and utter fuck of a business for some, the best thing in the world for others. Falling in love with someone is not something you can help. Whoever it is, once Cupid has his arrow embedded into your heart, thats it. Kiss your sanity goodbye.
(As you may have guessed, i am currently in the heart breaking grip of SEVERE lovesickness. But i am not here to discuss this particular thing, not in this journal anyway.)
Another thing we humans seem unable to help is our natural cowardice when it comes to this tricky business. For some, telling someone exactly how they feel is easy as pie. For others, it is the hardest thing in the world.
Why is it that Love is such a harsh mistress? Why can't we all get over our cowardice and our apprehensions and find it within ourselves to say to someone:
"You are the single most wonderful person i know. I cannot stop thinking about you. Everytime i see you, I have a heart attack, my mouth becomes a desert and my stomach feels like it is about to explode. In short, I love you."
Three little words. And they say sorry is the hardest?

I'm quite good at making friends, but meeting friends is tricky. I have to know a friend of yours in order to become a friend of you IRL. If i meet you online, i can get on well with you straight off if I like you. XD

Very much so. I'm very trusting indeed, and if I'm good friends with you then I'll be letting you in on some secrets. So long as you can keep em XD
4. Do you go to your friends for advice?
the majority of pals at school are no good for that. There's a couple of girls and a few guys i can talk to about anything, so yeah a few. zearfox Is good for that.
5. Are your friends there for you when you need them?
The most of them, yeah.

The area around it is always overcast and somewhat dull, but inside it's like the suns always shining. Theres normally a LOAD of people in there, like a shopping mall but nicer. Oh, and theres a fudge off massive Cinema Screen along one side. (Think I'm makin' this shit up? Seriously, I ain't buddy. This is an actual dream i have XP)

HELP! My friend's a Bigot!
General | Posted 16 years agoSo, just a normal day at school it seemed. Three hours of Maths followed by Three Hours of Physics. Just a simple boring friday. Until for some reason, the topic of Political parties came up.
Yes, me and a couple of friends were chatting about stuff, and then someone mentioned the BNP. For those who don't know, the BNP is the British National Party (sound firmiliar? Translate "National" into German) which is headed by a complete and utter Slimeball.
Anyway, their political following consists of a group of Racists, Fascists and just plain Bigots who want "England to be for the English". Okay, sounds innocent enough, but when their policy involves getting rid of ANYONE not born in England or of a different skin colour, thats too far. The leader is also a MASSIVE homophobic.
So, the discussion came to this, and one of my Friends basically said that they were doing the right thing and - were he old enough - he would vote for them.
Needless to say, I was shocked - and yes, he knows about my Sexual Orientation - and since then, I can't look at him the same way. He's tried to justify his actions, but i don't know. The thing is, I'm really good friends with him, but after that... I dunno...
Any advice?

Now, seeing as he uses the term source code, and having looked this up on Wikipedia, I have determined that this fellow may be planning on hacking accounts or websites like FA or that other one which I don't go on.
Maybe even fucking up the servers? Planting viruses to be sent to computers? I don't know, but I am slightly concerned. Any information???
