This year has been tough for losses and I hope that people find peace and comfort in these rocky times. While I only met Dragoneer in passing - visiting the same stream (or his), seeing a comment or X post here and there, I can say that I'm thankful for what he did for the community. No person is perfect and I'm sure there will be those that have some type of story to tell. I will miss you, Dragoneer, and thank you again for all that you've done. Take a rest. I hope to continue to share art here with the people I've met through this site <3

Hi Everyone, I'm gonna be having 2 weeks off from work and going to actually have time to draw some. Some I'm gonna be opening up for a commission or two to help pay for some things like credit cards and food. Everyone likes food, right?

For those that which to know, I've not been around much on FA or even Picarto. I just wanted to give everyone the heads up why. After putting in to get a Fursuit done, I was rejected by the makers I went with, and as such, I decided to take the money I was going to give to them to use it to buy the materials for making the suit myself. I might post some of the WIP pictures as I go, but I'm excited to try something new and creative in the fields of crafting. I'll be back to arting soon. <3

Chapter 3 introduces the third main character of the series, Bastian. I'm looking for a few good songs that could maybe be good title. The song will help me write the story, and might even give some insight of what might happen in that chapter. If you have a suggestion, let me know. If I really like the song and pick it for the up coming chapter, your Fursona could make an appearance in Chapter 3 as well!

Just FYI: While I do listen to a lot of different genres of music, Rap and Country rank low on my lists. That doesn't mean I won't use those genres at all.

Sooooo.... I've been taking care of my Rents, and now I'm a little hard strapped for money. I was thinking of doing something like a 10 buck character picture, not even sure anyone would be interested, but I'm might give it a shot. Maybe like 4 or 5 slots... >_>; I'm the worse that could happen would be no one wants it. :3

I was in the market to get an artist's side satchel, and I remembered seeing something about an amazing one from a European company somewhere. u.u I just can't remember where I saw it and google is of no help atm... Anyone can maybe make a suggestion of sorts or know the company I'm speaking of. I know the bag is semi-water resistant which is a major plus to my climate area.

Haven't wrote one of these in a LONG time... Thought I'd share. I work a whole lot so getting a free moment to draw is really nice, but I want to try to expedite my drawing. So I've managed to get my hands on a Cintiq 12wx, well, not hands on it yet... It shipped today! But I can't wait to try it out and see how much better looking at what I'm drawing will be. :3

I'm a little excited... In a week, I'll be celebrating my Birthday. It'll have been another year passed and I'm still goin' strong. I don't except much for presents from my family. They're even more hard pressed than I am, but I ask my Dad to tell me the story of the day I was born. He wasn't there, he was serving in the Marines at the time, but it's a really good story.

It's kind of weird though, working where I do... A year can fly by so quickly. So many projects left unfinished... Need to get back into the swing and start working on my comic again. GC_HSL has been left unfinished for FAR TOO long.

what's also funny, It was a year ago i moved to my place now... And I'll be moving again the same time. I hope this won't become a trend..?

So I'm not going to lie. I'm bit scared. I've managed to to shell out 1200+ dollars in car repairs in the last month and a half... I've got to move at the end of next month. Even with all the hours I put into work... I don't know how I'm going to make ends meet. But it always seems to happen at the worse possible time....

So, I found out yesterday, my beloved cat, Curly died. He was an amazing animal and one of my family. When i was sad he'd be there to give me a loving meow, or when i slept he'd stay close to me. 14 great years with him is still, in my opinion, not long enough. He never was sickly in his entire life, and I still believe he was bitten by something poisonous. I will miss him so very much and will away think of him as the best pet I've had. Of course, my also dearly departed dog, Muttley was Curly's partner in crime and I too lost him this year, only 2 months ago... I cried, yes... I loved them. I'm still crying now.

But I'd like to share my fondest memory of Curly. My room in my old house had two windows, mind you there were quite a few of them scatter about, and my Parents room window was also next to mine. But sure enough, Curly knew which ones lead to mine, and in the night would come and knock on the window for me to let him in. Of course, I'd always try my best to do so... but on the rare occurrence that I didn't let him in... He'd find another way inside the house. Plus, He'd make his way to my room, then open my door, and next jump up on my bed. He had a sense of humor because he'd 'slap' me and start meowing at me as if to say: "Don't act as if you didn't hear me..." I'd pet him, he'd forgive me, and then we'd go to sleep.

I know he's better off without the pain, but I still hurt from his lose...

So, I'm designing this shirt for my 'dance unit' at work... And I want it to be bad ass, and I need references for gargoyles but the only things I've come up with is crap... does anyone know of some artists' picture with the gothic motif that I can study? I have the idea in my mind already, just need a little bit of help with the final creation.

So if you don't like it after the second try, then I think It's best if you find someone more skilled than I to do your commission, because maybe I may not the best choice for the image you intended. I'll take the payment when everything is said and done, and you like the concept art. From then on there, I'll finish it to the best of my abilities.

So, I had a car accident about two days ago. A little scary, but I wasn't injured and only minor damage done to my car. So, today, as a pick-me-up, (even though I know I shouldn't have), I bought Pokémon: Mysterious Dungeon II - Explorers of Time. The game series reminds me so much of Azure Dreams for the PS1, i kind of feel in love with it. Anyway, They ask you a bunch of questions to determine the Pokémon nature your are and based on that and your sex, you get your PKMN character. I didn't like my first few, but I finally got the one I wanted. But it seems I'm a Rash, Naive, Bold, Impish person... seeing how I answered all the questions as truthfully as I could. But it made me smile some even with the bad days I've been having on how well the descriptions of those natures fit me. Though, every time, my Aura was aqua blue, how fitting too...

Well, I'm cutting out. Though, I might have to whore myself out to in some way, shape, form, or fashion to make back the money for my car repairs ;.;

So it's a kind of weird week to come. In 7 days, I'm gonna be celebrating my birthday (YAY~!!), but I've got to move soon too... (Boo....) But at least I've only got 3 days of work before I go on a six day "vacation." I'll use that time to take a few dance classes, pack, and other random things. I just wish I could have had the money to fly home to see my mom. I miss her.

Also, when I get back, I'll hopefully be able to post a few things I've been working on.

So my amazing plan to keep a constant update of my comic keeps falling through. o.o Work is draining me of all my time with Halloween here for my job and the rehearsals for Christmas less than 2 weeks away >.< This is gonna be even more rough than last year. But I really want to keep going... So let's hope a get to keep at least 1 day off in the near future...

So, my plans of get a few pages out of the lovely comic idea I call Gamer Credo got put on a major hold. My job has started to claim my life, and when you work until midnight, it's hard to find the time to draw when you need sleep to do the exact same shift the next day. But lucky for me, my first day off is tomorrow, so I'll be dancing happily around my room nakkid and playing a few games. Then after that.... I'll finish up page 1 and 2 hopefully. ;.; Here's to dreamin'!

So last week was my birthday, and I traveled home to see my parents... something I rarely get to do. Well, within 24-hours of being there, I had to go to the hospital for some bug that I had caught. >.> It wasn't the way I wanted to spend my birthday, but at least I got some home cooked meals from my Mom. ^_^ Perhaps next year will be better.

I really want to try and take on a commission, but I'm not sure if I'm ready for such a task. I could either use Pencil & Paper or OC/Photoshop. But I wouldn't know what to charge, or even if I could do it.... It's hard to decide when to leave the nest. Oh well, I guess I'll keep practicing in the mean-time.

So tired... I've been working crazy hours and Work subtracts from my free time to draw. I have been slowly coloring the commission I got from Pave, but even that task seems to take forever when work steals 75% of my day and sleep 15%. And now with the these special events going on, I'll be working all the way up until Halloween, and then Christmas, right back into the event I'm doing now... >.< *dies*
