Posted 7 years agoCATS?
Posted 7 years agoMy roomie recently adopted a young adult Mackerel Tabby female from some people who were forced to turn her over to animal services. You know what happens when they get hold of them...Well I said that it would be okay to bring her home, even though I'm not really a pet person.
Well it's been almost 4 weeks and she seems to be working out okay.
Point being, we want to take her on walks, so he bought her a harness and lead. Needless to say she doesn't like it one bit! So my question is, will she become accustomed to wearing it in time, or what? We really need it for her health and safety.
Since many of you likely have cats, maybe someone can offer up a suggestion.
Thanks

Posted 7 years agoOH NO! OH NO! OH NO! OMG NO!!!!!!!!
Posted 7 years agoMy roomate and I ran an errand to pick up a check this afternoon, and before we left the place he'd adopted this somewhat mature feline from the owner of the business... OMG! The residence we reside in is mine, but I guess he likes critters better'n he likes me so I allowed it to happen under the condition that she is HIS BABY, for better or for worse! Not that I don't like pets, but they're not my thing! Too much work, too much hassle and the cost of maintenance are just some of the reasons I'll never ever have a pet of any kind!
I guess I'm a pushover because I know he needs something warm and furry to have with him. He's getting some repellent to make sure she doesn't wander onto my turf, as I have some really nice and delicate stuff that'd be perfect feline fodder.
She's HIS baby now and I made that VERY VERY clear!
I really hope it makes him happy...

I'm used to it!

Posted 7 years agoQuestionmark?
Posted 7 years agoAlthough I don't celebrate this holiday, this is the first time (paws crossed) in three years that I haven't spent it in hospital or rehab. I guess I should be thankful for that.
Anyhow, is there any favorite image that someone would have me post tomorrow? I have no drawings with a holiday flare, so I'll leave it to those that respond to this post. I'm afraid that I can't please everyone...

Posted 7 years agoI've forgotten many things about FA, including how to give another member a "shout" on their page.
Any suggestions?

Posted 7 years agoHaters gonna hate!
Posted 7 years agoWell it (again) was brought to my attention (accidentally) by an admin that at least two of my image ratings were changed as a result of some unknown individual bringing it to their attention!
I know I have literally dozens of haters out there, but this time I think I know who it was.
I don't spread hate nor flame here, but to asshats like that it doesn't matter.
What goes around comes around!

Posted 7 years agoI give up!
Posted 7 years agoGot slapped on the wrist and was warned -in no uncertain terms by the admins for mislabeling a couple of my images.
They made me feel like a fool that can't even judge his own work.
They took it upon themselves to make the proper adjustments to said offending images.
This time of year is tough enough on me as it is. This kick in the nuts was the proverbial frosting on the cake!
I told them to feel free to remove my images and to close my account if they desire to.
I'm always out of line, no matter what I do!

Posted 7 years agoOOPS!
Posted 7 years agoDue to two troll messages (NOTES) from an individual, I "checked" their messages then clicked "trash", and I lost ALL of my messages!
I clicked "restore" but it didn't work.
Guess those other "notes" are gone forever!
Typical shitty luck!
Things have obviously changed since I had my previous page.
Any suggestions? - Please don't laugh or troll.

Posted 8 years agoBye DA
Posted 8 years agoI deactivated my two week old Deviant Art account tonight when I discovered that another individual (who shall remain nameless) had snagged a large number of my images from my long deactivated Fur Affinity account - and posted them WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.

Posted 8 years agoDA
Posted 8 years agoI started a DA (Deviant Art) account - for the 2nd time. It's under "vawlkee".
I set up an account some years back and after 2 weeks, not one stinkin' comment or watcher.
All I've gotten this time is one watcher and comments from only one person, my roomate!
I'm sure it's just my luck!
Why do I bother...

Posted 8 years agoSorry
Posted 8 years agoI'm sorry for the journal, as it appears that people misinterpreted my meaning.
I'll think twice before posting any more journals.
Sorry again...

I AM A BRONY
Posted 8 years agoTrue, I rarely, if ever post a journal because I usually get my ass chewed for what I post.
I'm here to tell you all today, that about 5 years ago I began to embrace the My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic universe, and, somewhat more recently, I came "out" as a brony.
I love their sweet gentle little world where they call home. There are occasionally issues of strife, but as a rule, a very comfortable world to live in.I've gone as far as working out several of my own scenarios that would make for great stories.
Sadly, through severe emotional trauma and a partial breakdown, I had to discontinue even so much as sketching 9 years ago, otherwise I might've been able to at least partially master some pony drawings. Still, they live on in my heart and mind, and to me that's very important.
If you don't like my stance, well then that's too bad for you, as my feelings are not likely to change.
Robert
