Just wanted to let everyone know who was curious, it may be awhile before I finish coloring all commissions I received this month. I'll get sketches out to everyone for approval but most likely none of them will get finished until January. I'm sorry about that. I just happened to be finishing up some projects and working with subs to my patreon, so I'm a bit flooded with work currently. I'm trying to manage as best I can while still being able to pay rent and such. Hope you all understand!

I'll be opening up 10 slots for the month. These will be full color, inked, no background for 45 USD. Backgrounds will go for 35, shading for 25. Props are allowed. Any added characters will cost an extra 15 USD. Theme can be anything you want, as long as it doesn't involve copy written characters.

I've been getting new people on my Patreon, so Ive been trying to get more content done as well as manage more people's pledges. Im very much happy, but it has started to dip into my weekly commissions. Im running a bit behind, but fear not! I still have everyone logged for commissions (i tend to keep notes unread so i can note which ones i need to focus on), so ill try to get sketches out sometime soon!

I want to thank everyone who participated and sent in questions. I know how annoying April Fools day can be, heck I tend to drop off of the internet the entire time. But instead I wanted to do something fun. Everyone's done the whole "I'm leaving FA" bit for years now. So why not make it official and let a character take over my profile. And so my prank was born. Obviously my prank had to stem from somewhere (check my Patreon if you want to find out that), and it turned out to be a pretty big success. You all made it very hard to turn off the prank mode hahaha. But I had a talk with my roommate and he convinced me that "too much of a good thing can make it go stale". So for now, she's gone and I'm back in the seat, ready to finish my commissions post haste. But don't worry, maybe she may return for a festivity or two, who knows. In any case, jokes on you all. Ive finally gotten around to sketching up all the hyper commissions from like, three weeks ago. Me getting sick, along with last month, has been the worst. The only way to fix it is to try and do several days, back to back of art, and hope for the best. :/ That being said, the last of the sketches are going out now, and Ill be finishing those up this week.

Im sorry for being really late with updates and commissions. Ive actually been sick for the past couple of days, and havent gotten around to drawing anything for a long while. I think im improving enough to get back into the norm again. Im sorry for the extra long hiatus.

I figured for the longest time that if I had the time, I could do the things I wanted without having to worry about a constant schedule. But without that schedule, I haven't been pressured enough to really do the things I need to do. Even if it's weekly things, that take up most of my weeks, at least I was doing something instead of nothing. So I think I'm going to go back to my three streams a week formula. And even if I can't do three, I'll still try to keep the Monday/Thursday streams constant.

Alright, I think after some not so happy interactions Ive had with people, Im going to start putting my foot down on how I treat commissions. Cause certain things have been irking me, and honestly, i should update my policies anyways.

From here on out, all my theme day commissions will be bumped from 35 USD to 40. Ive been meaning to raise prices anyways, so I figure a small increase wouldnt be as bad as a major one. However, im going to start using Invoices from now on as well. Its just easier to manage and to remind people about payment. And with Paypal's updates to their policies, its a lot safer too. And finally, Im going to start charging people at sketch phases from now on. This is the thing that irks me the most. Ive had two clients already become silent on me. And i hate having to work to a full picture, only for people to run off without giving whats due. So Im going to start charging upfront once the sketch is done.

People are fine to remind me about past commissions. I know Im extremely forgetful, and Im more than happy to work on stuff thats months old, if people still care about it. Id hate to feel like I didnt fulfill what i owed to someone simply because of my memory being bad. But yeah, Im going to start making these changes this month starting today.
