Posted 13 years agoYes, YES!~ I got good scores this semester so now I can finally focus on art! -and work since I'm almost out of money-.
So yup, more time to do my ridiculous drawings with my ridiculous characters.
And by the way, I'm in the process of moving to another account. I won't delete the pics that are here but I won't post anything on this account anymore except a crappy drawing to announce the moving.
Why the change? I don't like my username. Robin Medli? Pfff!
Oh, and because I want to start fresh and ready to try new things and stuff. Maybe you won't see any change in style or subjects in my drawings, but is a fact that I want to start over again.

Posted 13 years agoBoy, I didn't get much requests as before but what got me happy this time is seeing some of my friends entering the raffle with such nice ideas. Thing is that I choose the winner randomly and I must be fair.

Posted 13 years agoNo need to answer but I'm curious since is hard for me to believe it.
And still, I don't believe it. You see, in the past everything was fine with my male friends until they told me they fell in love with me.
So I can say, a man can be friends with a woman. But problem is appareantly some people confuses kindness with love interest.
I'm not reffering in someone in particular, just some dudes in the university that keeps me asking for a date even when I told them I wasn't interested. I don't hate them -or people who are like that-. I hate the way they're acting.

In other things, digital artist: What can you tell me about SAI (Easy Paint Tool SAI)? I think it looks great to replace traditional sketching.
Don't panic my favorite tool is and always be pencil. That's the way of the monochrome whip!

I have been accepting stories or music pieces as part of the trades. I prefer stories more since reading is my second favorite activity (the first one is... tadá, drawing).
Now, writing stories or doing music is not simple task. Takes time, a lot. I understand this perfectly.
So if you ever want a trade in the future but can't draw, you can do some of these things. And most important, take your time. I take mine and is helpful ^^
I'm not open for trades right now, but will soon. Also, there's an upcoming sketch raffle.

Fetishes... uhm well...
Posted 13 years agoI don't consider I have a lot, maybe because I haven't tried most of them. By tried I mean watching or drawing.
To be honest, I don't find anything appealing about them. By example, vore. I don't get the "magic" of that, doesn't interest me. Is not even hot or gross or fascinating. Now, I've drawn vore before if you call shoving someone inside their butt like that. But either than that, I don't get it :/
Same goes with macro/micro. I don't understand the challenge of drawing a character either giant or small. It seems easy to do, but I think it's much more than seeing some dude stepping on houses (and other beings). Or maybe I am philosophizing too much on something that doesn't need much to understand it ^^;
Foot/paw fetish is another one someone introduced me. Again, not appealing. But in my case is because some of the pictures involving this fetish simulates a human appearance. Not appealing at all...
Pregnancy is another story. I don't look at it as something hot, just something funny. End of discussion.
Well, those are all I can remember. I know there are much more but those are the ones I directly had contact, meaning someone entered the subject with me.
I don't have anything against the things I just talked, everyone is free to do whatever they want as long as we don't do harm to someone else.
As for trying drawing them, I'm not interested. But like any person who makes art, I have the skill to draw EVERYTHING.

Quality in trades? [WARNING, RANT]

You see, when I do trades, I often investigate, make some research about the character, the person and the likes that person has. A lot of work for just a drawing, yeah? But is a trade, is supposed to be something the other person might like...or isn't?
Think about it, artist (or hobbyist), Do you really care about what the other person might like when you do your part of the trade?
How much time and effort does it need a trade? If I don't need to do all that much, then what the heck I've been doing?!

Maybe... my drawings are not good enough and I don't deserve more?
I frankly don't know. I would like to.
