I'm thinking over the possibility of changing the name of my fursona. For the record, it's currently Tori Andrew Belliachi.

The reasons for this are as follows:
* Tori is a girls name.
* It's shamelessly ripped off from Salvatore "Tory" Belleci in the first place.
* Andrew is nicked from my real name.
* General boredom.
* [Edit] Another one, connotations to the Conservative party *shiver*

Course, this means changing (and likely having to re-register) at the masses of sites I've joined over the last three years, losing all manner of information, rights and privileges. Lest I actually do some work to retain them - I'm also helped by using the name Robomilk quite a few places - like here!

If I do go for a new name I'm definitely looking for something more original and thoughtful, possibly from the scientific or philosophical world. Or maybe something origins based, like a Malaysian word, or maybe something else Asian.

Or, if I wanted to be really stupid, call myself Vincent Amoore Patricia, a little screw about with the family motto Vincit Amor Patria. Although I find that path a little screwy (as much as Vincent is a nice name).

Any opinions or name suggestions oh almighty public?

I'm somehow topping the list of "People we're sick of seeing on wtf_fa".

The fun part? I've never even had anything of mine posted there...

Now I did wake up over 5 hours ago, so my memory is a little fuzzy, but I'll try and remember everything anyway.

For whatever strange reason or circumstance I was one of three entrants into a race to cycle (on a regular bike) 100 miles down the British motorways during twilight. I was winning, managing the rather good speed of one mile every 5 seconds.

While taking a break from this race (I would expect such a thing to be tiring) I stayed in a white room with nothing but three beds in it. I was staying in the one on the far right. Under whatever intents and purposes, something that I presume was rather large attacked the room, tearing a hole in the top corner above my bed (giving the impression that past this room there wasn't any other part of the building there.

I hid under the middle bed, where I apparently ended up next to verace (all I know is that he was called Verace anyway...), who was also hiding under there too.

Once the strange attack was over I got out and went for a walk in the country, strolling down this large path to a country manor I decided to stop in a gift shop along the way, where I picked up a load of stuff to buy, checked my wallet and put them down again when I realised I was too poor to purchase anything.

I was then given a tutorial on how to blow your nose by an old woman wearing black.

On leaving the gift shop, I found that the country manor was now a quarry where they were teaching students (particularly Dave and Christobel, for those in the know) classes in using dynamite. The quarry was particularly weird, as classes were held in rooms embedded in cliff faces, and outside the door was nothing but hundred foot piles of exploded rock dividing each room.

Anyway, we each jumped into our turret positions and started firing missiles at each other from oversized blue and red missile gun things. Chris got badly hurt and we all slid down the rocks as if they were happy fun water slides.

And that's how I dream :3

After living with my dad for five and a half years after my parents divorced, my little brother Kieran is returning to the UK.

There's some significance to this. For one, I hardly expected it to happen, my mother and father have always argued over the custody of us both, with neither wanting to give up the son they had to gain the other one. Now, following the break up of my father's current relationship in New Zealand, combined with Kieran's move into adolescence (jeez, he was so young when he left...) he sees it fitting to send him back to the rest of his family.

The other piece of significance is that my life will change dramatically, I'll suddenly have a brother after being a virtual lone-child for just about my entire memorable life (testament to how crappy my memory is), I'll suddenly have to send him off and pick him up from school, I'll have to care for someone again.

And, as happens with these deals, I'm going to have to share my bedroom. Folks who've been to my house will probably know that my room is hardly big enough for me and my huge collection of tech, books, magazines and clothes (oh, and Communist propaganda) so there's a lot of movement to be going on too there.

I'm feeling emotional, but I don't know how. I want to get right in now, move everything around my room, throw out all my un-needed to free up wardrobe space, hide my smutty art collection (*cough*) and all that general tosh. Yet likewise I'm somewhat dreading it; I'm going to lose my only personal space, the place I always use to escape from the horrors of family life and just mellow in thought and loud music.

As with many brothers, I have a terrible case of sibling rivalry with my brother. We're chalk and cheese in every case, we're completely different in mind and in body - I'm the older intellectual techy type, he's the younger sporty type; I have my mother's hair and father's skin, he has my father's hair and mother's skin; we're just different, and I can see that causing problems - which is something I don't want, even if it's inevitable.

I don't know what to feel. Excitement? Dread? Neutral understanding?

That hurts more than anything else.
