I am being forced to take a break on account that my roommate's brother is staying with us for a month. I will still probably do a bit of art when I have time to myself, but I'm going to get behind a bit.

To be fair, I was forcing myself to draw every day, and sometimes I think I was getting exhausted. Taking a break might not be a bad idea; I'm always afraid I will forget how to draw, but I'm 99% positive that it's like learning to ride a bike- you don't just forget!

There may be an upload this month, but I don't expect I will have time to do anything super great until November.

The true laziest form of art that this site allows: adopts! Please tell me that the average user can't stand this because I am about to blow a gasket.

RE-COLOUR AFTER RE-COLOUR of the same damn drawing of 1 species... and people are lining up in the comments stating "These are so amazing!" and "I'm gonna waste a lot of money here!" You might as well burn your damn money in a bin, you would get a lot more out of it than wasting untold amounts on a goddamn auction for the 5th re-colour of the same character! Like FFS, USE YOUR IMAGINATIONS!

Isn't one of the most fun parts of being a furry and having characters is that you get to design the way they look!? I am all good with commissioning an artist to draw a new character for you- but that's the thing- FROM SCRATCH, not a generic template that has been coloured differently countless times...

*Sigh*... I just don't get some people.

I hope people appreciate all the crap traditional artists have to put up with and do, nowadays. I spend hours and sometimes days on single pieces, depending on their size (Usual size is about a standard piece of printing paper) for a couple hundred views, compared to all these digital artists who make thousands off a picture they scribbled down in 10-20 minutes- it's damn frustrating!!! I did an animation for my birthday that was over 30 frames and took me weeks for a lousy 48 freaking views! Great way to destroy someone's will to do the only thing they enjoy in their miserable life... I don't blame anyone- I was just hoping that drawing for 13 damn years, with high quality drawings would get me somewhere decent, at least. This is seriously one of the only things I enjoy doing in life and hate seeing people who just want a bunch of money and not care about art, really get so far and successful for doing next to nothing!!!

Here is the (my) TRADITIONAL process:
1.) Sketch out the rough drawing with pencil.
2.) Ink the pencil lines with marker.
3.) Wait for the ink to dry and then erase the pencil.
4.) Colour everything BY HAND with pencil crayons.
5.) Shade everything with pencil.
6.) Go over some lines that are faded with the marker... again.
7.) Scan the piece on a flatbed.
8.) Edit with Photoshop or something else to crop, get lighting and colour correct, resizing.
9.) Finally upload.

Here in the DIGITAL process:
1.) Draw out the drawing digitally with a pen or mouse.
2.) Paint bucket fill everything in 5 seconds or colour in manually.
3.) Shade stuff.
4.) Upload it.

For the past 12 years I have been uploading to here and hiding a secret from everyone: I was once a digital artist.

Amazing how after 12 years, I continue drawing the old school way still. I thank the few that appreciate something simpler in this over-digitalized world. Though, believe it or not, I was once a digital artist on Deviantart with almost 250 uploads (2008-2013). I of course did traditional art before I got a tablet in 2008. Then, around 2010 I talked to an artist who made traditional paintings and statues at an art show around my area. It took a couple years to sink in, but he made me realize how soulless digital art feels, and how there is not much of a personal aspect, such as close texture and small imperfections that makes art human. I did both for a couple years, but eventually gave up drawing digitally for traditional means. It felt so rewarding to actually hold my art!

I do like some digital art, and don't have anything against people drawing digital art for modest prices, but I think some of it gets too much praise for what it is. Some people think they should be able to charge 100-200$ for a flat, digital drawing that takes no time at all to do. I can understand some of the super detailed, multiple hour digital drawings costing more, but you don't have to buy art supplies at all, so why charge so much?

There have been many furries I have spoken to over the years whom have centered their entire existences on themselves.

I don't remember the last person I have talked to that has actually asked me any questions about how I am doing or what I have been doing; and taking an interest- or at least try to fake interest in what I have to say. There are many people who just will ignore me because I haven't asked the 100th question about them, when they could ask me things once in a while. Many have explained their entire living situations, families and even beliefs with me; but many of the same people have never asked me any of the same things or just pushed it aside for another subject when I try to.

Also the people who had previously, constantly asked for free requests, and I thought that by putting hours of effort in to something and spending time from your day to enrich someone else's was a way to earn their respect and friendship- but it is one "thanks" and then they usually disappear.

And people wonder why artists don't like doing requests.

I have been flooded with requests in my notes so I thought I would sum this up.

Requests: NO. I take so long to draw and only do it when I'm in the mood. I will take ideas for game, movie, etc. characters but no guarantees I will pick them.

Art trades: YES, as long as we're both committing. Art or story trade is fine. Music would be crazy. No character trades, please.

Commissions: COMING SOON!

What I will draw: Scat, Watersports, vore, gore

What I will NOT draw: Genital mutilation, unbirth, cock vore, under age furs, bronies, Humans

Drawing guidelines: 1 frame , 1 character per frame, 1 character of mine (optional)

I would just like to say sorry and thanks to all my watchers who put up with me. I know I am not dependable or good at keeping up with art and this site.

I will be continuing to post new art, and always open for ideas- mind I won't use all ideas.

I apologize about slowdowns in my art schedule. I just started a new job and there has been some changes in my life.

I am not saying I'm quitting but I don't have a date for when requested drawing will be finished or I will be open for them, at the moment. ETA: 2-3 weeks or any time I have time.

If anyone is interested in one please leave it in a comment or send me a note. Being as I am only one I will only take ONE request at a time.

-The requestee must be available for further questions after the request in case there is any confusion or detail left out of the initial idea. I may do these requests free of charge but I expect payment through watches and thanks, not to mention cooperation.

-Requestees are alotted 'ONE' frame per idea.

-Expect a week (or less) for completion. I work rather slow and work better that way. If I ever take longer than a week I will send you a note.

I realized after a comment I got elsewhere I look an aweful lot like a red panda and not a raccoon.

Just keep in mind I have grey fur, not red and also a white belly.
