Since things got kind of busy for me this Christmas, and I was unable to make a journal in time, I just wanted to see how things went for everyone else.

For me, most of what I did during Christmas was: spend time with family, watch TV, and play with an expansion pack I got for one of my games.
There was just the right amount of snow for Christmas as well, which made things pretty, but, didn't create major issues on the roads or in the skies.

Since we have created our nations, now might be a good time to create some cities as well. :3

This will be a bit like Simcity, but without the limitations of the game.. Its only limited by your imagination this time. :)

Realm of the Rising Sun: Japanese myth.
This book was recommended to me by a friend on here. I must say, it does a good job of explaining Japanese Myths and some of the things from the Shinto religion. It also has rather nice illustrations, showing many photos of what things look like, in color.

The Lost Wolves of Japan.
This is a good book for anyone interested in Japanese wolves (Okami) and what happened to them. It also has some details on myths associated with them.
While there are not as many photos in this book, if you are interested in the Okami that actually existed, the photos are of some interesting things.

Tomorrow marks the last day of operation for Ontario Northland's Northlander passenger service.

Sad to see their service go.
I will miss seeing the colorful trains on railfan sites.

Since things were not going so well when I last posted a journal, I thought I would post that things have been improving here.

Well, it looks like there is a chance things could get kind of ugly and potentially dangerous at the upcoming funeral I have to attend this weekend.

I would rather not go into details here, but, if you read my journals, try to think of me during the next few tough days.

I have been following a team that is making a game where you can tour every room, (not just certain rooms) of the the Titanic as it was before the disaster, in HD.
Due to the scope of the project, and the fact they want this model to be as accurate as possible, their completion date is sometime around late 2013 or sometime in 2014... However, there are monthly updates on their site.

If you where granted a wish or 3 and it was just for being furry would you:

I was told about this from  The_True_Blue_Wolf tonight.
If this turns out well, I think this will be pretty cool. :)
So far, from what I'm seeing in the video, the graphics appear to have been brought up to the vibrant colors that I see on the Wii version with everything looking more clear than on both versions. The trophy feature looks interesting as well. :)

Since I have yet to find a way to hook my Wii into an HD TV with an HDMI cable, this will certainly improve my current experience of the beautiful visuals this game has.

If I am able to afford a PS3 and this game looks good, I might think about getting one when it comes out.

What are some of your thoughts on this?

After nearly two months of setbacks, I'm hopeful that I will have a few new things to post soon.

I've been thinking lately that I don't really feel like putting any more submissions on here, or on any other art site for that matter.

I still plan on checking FA often, and may still add watches, favorites, and comments from time to time, but, expect to see few, if any submissions or journals.

Well, the start to this year has taken a turn for the worse here.

I'm sure some of you have noticed that I haven't been on here as much as normal lately, I will now explain why.

Things started off rough here when my neighbors started creating issues again which has brought much stress to all of us here.

I have been feeling sick for about two weeks now. (Mainly stomach issues, sometimes a fever, soreness, sinus issues.) It hasn't been terrible, but, it has been a bit rough, and has slowed me down some.

The worst thing happened today though.
One of my dogs died of what appears to have been a heart attack. (It happened suddenly)

Its going to be hard without her here, she was always happy and brought me and many others much happiness.


I'm hoping things will get sorted out here soon.

Well guys, things have kind of slowed down with my photography for several reasons.

For all of you that like my photos of weather, especially severe weather, 2011 sadly didn't yield many photogenic severe storms in the area I'm in. So, lets hope for a more active weather pattern up this way for 2012.

For those who like trains. A combination of factors have made it difficult to photograph trains and locomotives in operation. The biggest one has to be that the trains I photograph are operating at odd times, making it difficult to photograph them. (I typically don't feel like photographing trains at 2 AM. lol)

Lets hope things go better in 2012 so all of us can see more photos. If that's what you watch me for, that is. :)

Well, as of 10 minutes ago here, its officially 2012.

Hopefully this year will go well.

Well, since its officially now Christmas Eve where I live, I thought I would take this time to wish all here a Merry Christmas! :)

While things still aren't perfect here, they seem to be a little better now.

Hopefully I'll find a way to fix things a bit better so I will not feel like posting another crappy journal entry like that last one. hehe
