Irene came and left with minor damage to the house. 2 broken roof tiles, 3 minor leaks and a broken limb off the magnolia tree in the back yard. No flooding. Some barriers by the board walk burst down the block from me but the water and sand barely reached the corner. I actually had electricity and cable thoughout the storm. I even got called into work the afternoon of the hurricane, lol. Only annoying thing is our cable service got cut off at around 5 in the afternoon after I went to work. It wont be turned on for 2-3 days, don't know why since it was working fine after the storm. So I won't be on for a few days bored outta my skull.

"Oh my gawwwd its a hurricane!!!!!!! It might even be as powerful as gloria 26 years ago" they said on the news! OH NOES! Seriously I was 8years old 26 years ago and I watched the gloria from my window. It was an awesome storm but it didn't do crazy damage around here. I'll take my chances. Only thing I'll be pissed if we get any flooding since all my shit is in the basement including my workstation. GRRRR, FUCK OFF STORM!

So I just spent $300 of money I don't have to buy a new motherboard, cpu, 4 gigs of ram, and 2 new surge protectors. Ran into microcenter 5 minutes before they closed out on the island, and they were very helpful. So my puter is working again and I'll be able to start inking and coloring the pencils I did during my downtime. Though I have to wake up tomorrow for a wedding which will be taking up valuable coloring time, though my girlfriend wasn't feeling well today so we may not go depending on how she feels. Im poor again but at least I can get some art done.

Looks like my comp might need a new motherboard and cpu. After running diagnostics after my sunday night abrupt crash my hard drives fine. So I didn't lose any data. Just really annoying Im sitting on 2 new pics I want to digitaly ink and color. So im stuck using my PS3 to message people and not do much else....bleh.
