Creative Plans and the Future!
Posted 5 months agoMeowdy y'all!
If you haven't noticed, I've been in the process up uploading my "art I've commissioned" backlog, and with each of those has been a little micro story.
~~
I've also been doing some writing exercise over on my Bsky. I did a mini-writing month by taking my sonas and having them alternate writing little journal entries with some continuity between them. Here is the master post for them:
https://bsky.app/profile/rofllion.b...../3lo5qwhgwzo2h
I intend to pick some of my favorites (Days 8-12 were particularly fun) to polish up and turn into more full-fledged stories. I'm also going to make a master doc fixing up my typos and such to post here.
~~
For a while I've been in a rut where my ability to focus, my desire to create, and my free time have been in a constant war. On the bright side, I've picked up a decent chunk of new skills in that "inability to focus" mode. New medication has also helped me with this a lot.
I just wanted to write this up and say:
- It's good to have creative energy again, even if I don't have as much time as I want. I'm expecting to post more often (like, actually often)
- VR is very very fun, and I've learned a lot about avatar creation and retexturing. I've made avis of my main trio and definitely want to try to make some more of my OCs
- Drawing is also very fun and I've been working on side projects there (that I'm not quite ready to share yet)
Moving forward:
- Expect me to post here more often. I'm going to be targeting a new short story every 2 weeks for now.
- I'm also going to be trying some new themes. The vast majority will still be micro focused, but I want to do more with inanimate TF and also dip my toes in some hypno themed stuff.
- I'll be hopefully practicing my art alongside it, so I'll try and post those too. I honestly just need to do some sketchy pieces and post those.
That all being said, I do enjoy making things in VR and taking fun pictures and photo-mashing them together is lots of fun. Are images of my VR avatars something folks care to see here? I usually post them on Bsky, but if there's some I'm particularly proud of, I could.
Anyhow, take care and I'm glad to be back in a creative mode.

Meowdy! (Again)
Posted 5 months agoHope y'all have been doin' okay.
I'm finally pulling myself out of a creative slump I've been wrestling with for a bit.
For Micro May I've been doin' a lil bit of drawing as well as mainly writing some short micro-stories over on Bsky. I'm planning on polishing my favorites of those into longer stories and posting them here in the coming weeks. If you're wanting to read 'em and don't mind the formatting as a post, then you can find a master post of them here - https://bsky.app/profile/rofllion.b...../3lo5qwhgwzo2h
I also tend to post my art and short writings on Bsky first just because it's easier and faster. I keep an account with only my writing and art on it you can find here:
https://bsky.app/profile/roflstripes.bsky.social
On top of that, I've got a lot of art I've been holding onto and being lazy about uploading. I'm looking to get those uploaded over the coming week or so. It's a lot and by a variety of talented artists that I want to share with folks :3

Happy New Year! Bye, 2023!
Posted 2 years agoMeowdy o/
Looks like 2023 has come to a close, and with it one of the more chaotic years of my life.
On the downside:
- I lost my mom back in February, which made the rest of the year a pretty huge struggle. A lot of "firsts" without her and I feel into a pretty huge depression spiral about it.
- Depression really took hold of my life for a big chunk of the end of the year. It was a struggle but I've managed to crawl my way back out of it.
- Covid! Caught it over the holidays, still symptomatic (started on the 26th) which is a pretty crap way to end the year...
But on the upside:
- I found a great outlet in writing and drawing. While I haven't been as productive as I would like to be due to the aforementioned depression, I still want to pursue them. I've already been planning something fun for Micro May to push myself this coming year.
- I made a number of close friends that I am incredibly grateful to have in my life. All the people who have reached out to me and chatted with me made the year much better. I definitely wish I'd had more energy to be proactive, but that's a goal for next year!
- I moved! Uprooted from the SF Bay area and am now living back in Texas in the Austin area. A big part of that was to be closer to my dad, and being closer to family has done wonders for my mental health.
So what's next?
First, I need to finish recovering from Covid. This has been kicking my ass so I need to focus on recovery. I had plans to like, get some stories drafted out these past few days but Covid really messed them up.
I want to get back into my writing and drawing. I want to set some small, less detailed projects so I can get back into the swing of things and really work on improving. I've also got a backlog of art comms I need to post, so I'll use that as a chance to do a little bit of light writing to go with 'em :3
Anyhow, that's my update!
Happy new year to all of y'all!

Quick Update
Posted 2 years agoMeowdy!
Highlights:
- Inanimate TF story w/ art piece coming this weekend
- Draft for tiger wizard part 4 is started, will be the next story barring any short write-ups to go w/ art comms
- Been exploring more w/ art, taking an online class to work on anatomy and figure drawing, so hopefully as I get more confident I'll post more art with my stories (even just rough sketches of scenes)
After Micro May, I intended to take a short break to recharge, and then the month got stressful on top of that. After some time out of town to rest, I'm back on the creation train!
If you follow my NSFW writing/art twitter, you may have seen an art piece I made myself featuring an OC I adopted a few months back. Alongside that, I've been writing a short story to accompany it! Hopefully I'll have the art and story for that posted up later today or tomorrow!
Micro May had the caveat of time limits, so heavy editing and revision wasn't an option. But for my stories moving forward, I'm hoping to get back to doing more revisions to my works before I post them. This also means planning for my rough drafts more before I start the stories too.
Also, I've been meaning to upload some art comms I've gotten alongside some of my newer OCs, which I'll be getting to either tonight or tomorrow depending on how my weekend goes!

Micro May 2023 Retro
Posted 2 years agoMeowdy folks!
At the end of a month of stories, I wanted to take some time and just share my thoughts and feelings about what I did this month with these stories.
I know I'm a pretty new writer, but I like to take time to reflect on my experiences so I can keep moving forward and growing as both a writer and a person.
Overall, I'm really blown away by all the love and support these little short stories have gotten. I've always been a fan of micro and shrinking stories and I'm really glad people have loved my own contributions to that space. I've always had a desire to create but have struggled to find a medium I felt comfortable with, but this had overall been a huge boost to my own self confidence.
The month wasn't easy by any means. But I managed to push through thanks in no "small" part to comments, messages I received, and friends I made along the way.
The complete gallery of works can be found right here for your convenience.
But without further ado...
By the Numbers
(and no, I'm not talking about heights... this time.)31 stories

My Top 5
In no particular order, these are my top five stories I wrote this month. There were definitely a few stories that were harder to write, but for one reason or another, I'm personally attached to these stories. For any reason from specific kinks to just being a plan fun concept to write. If there's any up here that are sequels, I definitely want to put the others up here, but wanted to leave space for variety...
1) Revenge
The 2nd sequel to "Temporary" and showing an alternate path forward (vs "Sports")
I had a blast with this one. I enjoy the concept of heightened senses for micros so this one was a dive into scent and playing with the ideas of dirty vs clean. I just had a fun time with this one, and I kind of want to write a longer story about these two characters coming to terms with themselves and growing together in their very mix-matched relationship.
2) Science
If it wasn't obvious, I heavily enjoy clothing in shrinking/growing stories. The idea of a micro growing back up into his oversized clothing was really fun for me
3) Wealthy
A good power play is key to a good shrinking story to me. Rich people and butlers are a great setting here. It also plays with the idea of a very gentle and caring macro that still puts the micro through the wringer for his own good. Plus, the stag in may or may not have been heavily inspired by a new friend of mine... Not that he'll see this of course. Unless...
4) Reversal
I wrote a few self indulgent stories starring my main fursonas. This story was my favorite of them. It was also the first time I explored the "micro in charge" during the month. It's a great way to mess with the power play of size changing.
Honorable mention to Entrapment, it was a hard choice to put this above that.
5) Accident
A sequel I adored making. This couple may have been my favorite of the month. I also am pretty happy with how I used the key word "accident" as a story device other than just growing/shrinking accidentally. It also just was very sweet and I could see myself writing more about them in the future.
Lessons Learned
1) Comments and favorites made me feel very damn good. The flutters I got in my chest seeing the comment notification and realizing someone liked my story enough to actually post a comment. They helped me keep my motivation going to surpass my expectations (of "maybe 15-20 of them" I got through all 31)
2) Stories don't need to be perfect. One of my conditions here was to post without any real editing. Each story went from idea -> draft on the day of posting. I didn't have the time to edit these super carefully. I'm sure some of them would have been better if I had more time, but sometimes, posting a story even if it's not perfect is better than not posting.
3) I don't have to absolutely love a given story to make it something someone will enjoy. There were a few stories I didn't feel as confident in when I posted them, but I posted them anyways, only for someone to tell me it was one of their favorites so far. I tend to get in my own head, and this is just a reminder to be more confident in my work.
What's Next?
A few days at least of a break! I want to continue writing as well as get back to learning how to draw, but I need to relax too.
If anything, my drive to create is stronger than ever, but I need to make sure I don't burn myself out.
I have a few stories that were in progress before the month started that I want to get out soon, namely:
- Some inanimate clothing TF stories
- The finale to the Tiger Wizard's Hubris that I just didn't have time to make this month
- More shrinking stuff for sure!
Also... Tears of the Kingdom came out... I have gotten to play almost none of it...
Micro May!
Posted 2 years agoIt's Micro May! My favorite of the furry-theme months!
I've been pretty busy with work and it's kept me from being as creative as I'd like... For Micro May however, I want to set some goals for myself!
First, I want to finish up the 4th (and likely final) part of my first little series featuring the shrunken tiger wizard. I've been wanting to finish it up lately but just haven't had the time. It'd be pretty fitting to get that done this month!
Second, I want to push myself to just create more! I've always seen those like, "Hypno-vember Calendars" and looked for one for Micro May with no luck. So instead, I made my own list! My goal for each of these prompts is to either:
- Write a 1.5-2.5k word story
- Sketch and color a rough drawing for the theme with a < 250 word caption
Since I know I'm a busy person, my goal is to get through at least 15-20 of them. I came up with a list of 31 prompts though:
1. Tabletop
2. Office
3. Maws
4. Temporary
5. Virus
6. Magic
7. Volunteer
8. Wealthy
9. School
10. Concert
11. Instantaneous
12. Paws
13. Mistaken Identity
14. Jewelry
15. Outdoors
16. Crush (non-fatal)
17. Swap
18. Action Figure
19. Portals
20. Science
21. Entrapment
22. Sports
23. Superstition
24. Sleep
25. Revenge
26. Unaware
27. Video
28. Accident
29. Reversal
30. Slow Shrink
31. Thief
*There was a typo in my list and 2 days got lost somehow? This has been fixed.
I know this is probably overly ambitious... But I'm gonna try my best and use it as a chance to push myself! I do my creative work as a hobby primarily for my own enjoyment, and this seems like a fun idea. If I make one every day, awesome! If I'm not feeling a specific day, then I don't do it. But I want to try!

Posted 3 years agoI’ve never done one of these before… but, hey, first time for everything?
Meowdy! I’m Sieg! I’m a software developer, amateur game dev, and aspiring creative. This is my profile where I keep lots of the pieces of commissioned. Sometimes I’ll make some of my own art, or give writing a shot. I’m hoping to use this profile as more than just lurking and liking art moving forward!
I don’t know if I’ll ever hit the point of creative strength and confidence to even consider commissions. I tend to create for myself. I’m working on learning to draw, learning a bit about music, and practicing my writing whether it be short prompts or short stories.
My goal right now is to feel confident enough in my skill to start up and make my own visual novel. I’m a big fan of them and am always down to try new ones. I really want to make my own though with all the stuff I love.
If you want to chat feel free to send me a note or a message somewhere. I’ll do my best!
