Hullo hullo!

I don't really have much to say here, other than WOW its been a year! I've had my ups, and I've had my downs, followed by more downs, and actually there were a lot of downs. But along the way I had met so many wonderful people, so many new friends whom I cherish and love dearly.

Here's to another year of bulking, beefing, flexing, and borking with loved ones! Have yourself a merry holiday, enjoy getting tanked responsibly, and above all else, be cool dudes to one another <3

Hullo! Been a good while, hasn't it?

If anybody who's following me is interested in music, then good news for you! I've recently swapped my major over from networking to music, so now I'll be able to learn how to professionally compose music instead of trying to teach myself. I've gotten ahold of some nice ass software, Native Instruments Komplete 10, and have been learning how to use LMMS as my DAW. Been slowly working on some music projects here and there, mostly just taking old tunes of mine and dolling them up with the new VSTs, though I am working on a couple of new tracks with the VSTs in mind. I'll be sure to post those projects here in the foreseeable future!

I don't think I'm quite ready for commissions just yet, as I still need to learn a LOT more with music theory, but if anybody wishes to toss some cash my way in exchange for some bleeps and bloops and funky tunes and you don't mind it being unprofessional and dumpy sounding, I probably won't say no x3 Just understand that I am in no way a professional composer, just a dude with plenty of ideas in my head and not enough time to express them.

Hullo! Its been like, three years since I made one of these things! Figured I'd just get a lil' something done up for the hell of it.

Things are going, uh, going over here! Struggles abound, but nothing I can't handle. Been wrestling between work and college classes, so that's been a lotta fun! I've got so many things that I wanna do, but cannot because of a lack of free time!

If there's anybody here that is following me for music projects, I'll go ahead and say, I'll start uploading older tracks of mine, things that aren't complete trash, just so I can have something on here for reference. I'm in the process of building a new computer, and once that is built, I'm going to purchase some proper software for making my stuff. I've also been working on my vocal skills here and there. No proper lessons, just learning by example by listening to some of the best vocalists out there and working from there, so I may do things with vocals later.

If anybody is wanting to commission me for music at any point in the future, I'll be glad to indulge once I get the hang of whatever program I get later down the line! I don't quite know what I would charge for rates, but it'll probably be cheap, since I still don't exactly know what I'm doing :D

Anyway, still a lil' on the barebones side! Just wanted to get SOMETHING out there for those who care <3 Take care, my dudes! Always strive to be excellent.

So that last story I wrote was silly, and I'm not really feeling it, so I've decided to do a new one! It'll be using a rewritten version of Roger that I'm quite happy with, and I shall consider this "canon" for Roger. I'll be posting it starting on the 5th of January, and will add more additions whenever the hell I feel like it c:

I'm an aspiring composer, trying to learn how to compose music. I've mostly messed around with remixing stuff from video games, to learn about what makes those songs good (and to have something I can listen to for fun >.>), and have also made a few original tracks of my own. Its nothing super professional, though. My original tracks don't have a definite genre to them, as I just sit down and compose, without a particular goal in mind.


To get to the point, I've been considering it for a good while now, and with each track I push out I become more and more confident in my ability, so I've made the decision to open myself for musical compositions, and to also push out music for others to buy to listen to. I wouldn't call myself a professional, not in the slightest, but I feel that I've reached a point where I could maybe make some money off of music.

For commissions, I'll be charging a measly $6 per hour spent on composing the song, rounded down to the half hour. If it took three hours and thirty minutes for me to make the song, I'll charge $21 for it. I'd say that this is fairly reasonable for an amateur composer. This is more to help me learn how to compose than it is to help pay for my (nonexistent) bills. I'll accept paypal only.

If you want examples of what I have done note me and I'll send you some examples. Quality will vary from song to song as I'm constantly improving my musical ability.


I'll also eventually start releasing original tracks which can be purchased online, once I get enough songs I find good enough to pay money for.

Gonna be doing an overhaul of my waf. He'll be similar in personality, basically unchanged in appearance, but with a different backstory. I'll be writing a story for that which will probably suck, but I don't care x3 I'll post it ASAP!

This waf got ahold of a bunch of MIDIs from older games 'n shit, so expect me to upload a ton of remixes.

There's primarily going to be stuff that's a cross of rock/metal and jazz, but I may do other stuffs. I'm doing this to help teach myself a bit of music theory stuff such as how to properly balance the instruments, how melodies and countermelodies/harmonies interact, chord progressions, etc. Nerd stuff x3

Also if any of you have any bit of knowledge of music theory and music composition I'd love to hear some pointers! Its gonna be a while before I start putting up any original pieces.
