So, FWA was last weekend and I had a freakin ball. I must have suited... jeebus... I don't know. A lot, we'll just say that I suited a lot. Got to hang out with some really cool people and meet quite a few more really cool people.

And what's better?

I get to do it all next week at FCN! Only difference is that for FCN I don't have to drive 13 hours to get there, and I get to DJ! I'll be performing Saturday night at Midnight as my scheduled time... however, if in the event that no one else wants to play, I may take over the decks for a while on thursday/sunday. Also, if you're going to be at the fursuit games, I may be up in the booth creating some mood music again (so long as the guy who runs it will let me... he did last year, so I don't see a problem with that). Come say hi!!!! I'll be in the main events room pretty much all day every day :3

So, been thinking for a while about doing some trades... but I know that if someone actually bites on one, it'll take me waaaay too long to create a picture (or at least get the inspiration for one). Here's the plan then...

I want to expand my musical horizons, specifically towards doing mash-ups and mixes of songs to effectively make them playable at a club. Or! I'd also like to practice a bit more on my transitions between tracks while playing a set.

What this means for you: I'm willing to take some time and make mixes for people, but I'd like to treat it like an art trade! Perhaps get a sketch in return, nothing huge :) If you would like to trade some time with me, all I would need from you would be either a song (not a club song) that you would like to hear mashed up into something else... or a set of songs that you would like to hear strung together. While I'm not versed in /every/ style yet, I'd like to be... so CHALLENGE ME >:3

So, I just realized that one month from today is going to be my birthday... And the only thing I can think of is: What the hell??? Where did the other 11 months go? ;_;

This year, I'm so happy that I get to head home for Christmas. Now lets just hope that I don't get hit by this winter storm that everyone's talking about. XD

Lots of stuff going on this week that I'm all very excited for.

First of all, tomorrow morning I go to sign up for classes at my new University; EMU. This ends my year long hiatus, and will hopefully get me finished with my bachelors degree soon! Yay!

Also tomorrow... after I sign up for classes, I get to go rent a truck, pack up my room, and move across town. Yayayayayayayayayayay! That's what I'm more excited about haha.

Solike, woo! I'm all pumped and stuff for life changing decisions! XD

We're getting in on thursday, but our room doesn't start up until friday (staying with family thurs night). Come find me either at the main hotel, or the Meriott!

Time to Reformat ye olde HD. To be fair though... I haven't done this in over 4 years, so I suppose it's time.

Well, today I went back to work after recovering from surgery. The day itself was very good, I was getting trained in a different area of my department, Service Desk. I was alright at it, and the day went very quickly, so I imagine that I could possibly enjoy this.

However, standing on my bad ankle for most of the day, I have managed to make it very angry at me. I'm tired of being broken, and tired of being in a place that makes me feel broken. Argh. I know there are jobs out there that would better cater to me... and ones with less drama. Oh yeah, drama.

Apparently my bosses boss has completely checked out and didn't tell anyone. Didn't show up to a place she was supposed to go last week, and went on an impromtu vacation this week. All of the higher-ups are considering firing her, which quite frankly would make the store better off.

Blah! So there are some of the thoughts swimming around my head, all accompanied by some of  Cloudtigerbb 's music.

This was a fun match... Conchair Jeef wanted a piece of me at Matsuricon last weekend during the even "Wii play with the Guests." So, we played with an audience... and he almost had me at the beginning there, but the poor guy caught a few unlucky breaks... and I took full advantage of them >:3

Well, everything went okay with the surgery... but now come the recovery stage. So far, I've done lots of sitting and sleeping. I've been able to move around a little bit, but nothing too crazy yet. Can't wait for the pain to be done and over with :p

I am alive!

it's almost surgery time for me. I go in early monday morning... only one more day of work. When they told me I had to wait to get my surgery done... I never thought the end of this month would come... but here it is.

On the upshot... this is going to be a rather nice 2 week vacation :)

I love it when there is an awesome mis-communication. Called the clinic and tomorrow isn't my surgery... it's just a meet and greet with the surgeon... I'm so frustrated it's not even funny anymore D:

One week from today, I'll be in a hospital having surgery done to fix my hernia. Goodie. I'm a little nervous about it, it being my first surgery and all, but I have all the faith in the world that the doctors that I have will do their job correct.

This just means that I get a lil mini vacation I guess. Right? :p

So, some updates. Uhm, finally got a scanner up and running on my computer... so I can finally start scanning some of the pictures that I've done and received over the past year or so (and my apologies for not posting anything in that time!) Yay for sketches :3

And also... Anthrocon! I'll be there starting wednsday afternoon and not departing until Monday. I'll definitely be suiting around... and also I'll be helping a bit with A/V. But Im going to be trying to keep that to a minimum so I can enjoy my con!!!
