Writing a VN combined with other life responsibilities has bogged me down a little. To keep from overworking myself, I'm switching to a bi-weekly schedule! You'll still get growthy goodness, just on a bit of a protracted schedule!

Just like last time, I'm going to be taking names and putting them through a roulette to see who gets the slots! The cutoff time will be Friday the 9th at 5PM EST!
However, I want everyone to know that I'm raising my prices a little bit! They're going up from 1 cent a word to 1.5! This means that 1k is $15, and the usual 5k is now $75.
Why the change, you ask?
Well, I've been at one cent a word since I started back in late 2019, and I feel like I've grown over the last few years as a writer. I don't have a job, and writing is the only way I have to make money. With a visual novel on the horizon and a few other expenses piling up, I sadly have to lift prices slightly to stay competitive. I hate the idea of having to jack up the cost with you guys, but I got ends I gotta meet.
That, and I've had a few health developments since I've started. While I love writing, it's become a careful balance of time and a cost to my health.
Anyway, with that stuff out of the way, fill free to leave your name in the comments below if you're still interested in a slot!

Posted 3 years agoI know a lot of artists like this site as a tip jar, but I figure I'd throw a quick PSA out there:
If anyone you know uses Ko-Fi, have them delink shit off of it immediately. I just had mine completely bungled and tied up because of my Twitter linkage and had to terminate it.
They enforce rules outside of their site. If they see you're doing NSFW content on Twitter or anywhere else, your account will eventually end up suspended. They also have bots that periodically check these accounts as well, so there's no escape once you've placed links in your profile to social media or even Furaffinity.
The best way to use it would just to be have an incredibly vague account with no external pointing links. Also, avoid using the same username/email that you use for your NSFW content--they'll check that too.

Since people like either version, well, why not have both? I'm going to continue to upload the main files on FA as a text file, but offer a Dropbox link for a PDF file in the description text.
Easy, right? This should satisfy both people who like to read in-site and for those who enjoy collecting PDFs of their favorite stories.

I've decided to start expanding more into formatting with my stories. Unfortunately, FA only supports basic TXT files for display on the site. It's pretty annoying, so I thought I'd ask:
Does the extra push of a download button decide if you read a story on FA or not? Or would you rather see the entirety of it on the site, even if it means lacking the extra text formatting?
I'm curious what you guys would prefer moving forward!

Posted 4 years agoI think I forgot to mention, but I got a long-term Beastars fanfic about Bill and Pina called 'Behind the Curtain'!

I figure now that there's been enough time since the release of Season 2 of Beastars on Netflix, there shouldn't be too many spoilers that the fic runs into~
It's more story-driven than my usual fare, so not a lot of smut! If you like that sorta thing, then have a ball! I've got 45 chapters so far with plenty more on the way!
