First Draft is Finished!

i just wanted to share that my first ever first draft is fully finished
The Wick That Doesn't Burn is that much closer to becoming a reality and is getting alpha read!

last minute literally three days before it started
decided to do NaNoWriMo this year. Now i've done this a few years but I've never managed to even get half way

I cant even describe how happy I feel right now TAT

Posted 3 years agoI thought it was getting better.
or rather, that my body had build up a defense against whatever tf is triggering these outbreaks
but i guess not.
I've been noticing more and more 'spots' all over my body
its no longer confined to the bottom half of my legs
I'm getting them basically anywhere theres frequent pressure (upper hips, inner thighs *not a rash/chafing*, the underside of both arms, across my tummy, etc.)
basically the only place i didn't have them was my chest and head
and i was kinda okay with that because, despite it not being great, these spots weren't raised and they didn't itch often.
Anyways today the painful itchy swelling came back out of nowhere
I'm in a public library and it burns
and i'm just very tired
and my doctor never called me back about my blood results and its been like 3 weeks
this shit SUCKSi'm 28 now

Posted 3 years agoI literally got woken up tonight to a ring of pain around my right ankle despite the rash there not looking any worse than it did when I went to bed. Ice isn't helping. It hurts so bad. It's been almost a whole month of this. I'm tired. I want to sleep.
I'm at my wits end. I just want it to go away
Steroids didn't work. Cortozone cream only irritates it/makes it worse. Anti allergy medicine isn't working.
I can't focus on anything

Posted 3 years agoHello everyone, just a quick little update
I've been suffering with some sort of mystery rash for like two weeks
It starts at my toes, spreads up, does not pass my knees, gets angry and welts
and eventually calms down, gets almost entirely gone, and repeats. This is
the third go-around now and despite three doctors visits I've got no answers
Its not bug bites, and the rash is non-blanching which is concerning apparently
anyways i've been in hell; this shit hurts and makes it hard to focus on anything else
thats why i've been a bit slow with my work. As always, thank you all for your understanding
And heres to hoping that I get answers so I can fix this ;u; Dont Trauma Dump on Strangers

Pieces with more than two characters will need to have prices discussed privately via notes; my judgement
will have to weigh in the posing/character designs in question. c:

I updated increased my prices because its recently come to my attention from my friend Eiva

She was finally healthy and her eye sickness had fully cleared up, she was able t0 eat s0lid kibble as well.
Eden never did get f0nd 0f me, in fact t0day she cut me all t0 ribb0ns but when I tell y0u the sec0nd I handed her 0ver t0 her m0thers 0wner

But! I was pulling int0 my driveway and i saw the neighb0r wh0 0wns Eden's m0ther and her siblings
F0r any0ne w0ndering, he is spaying the m0ther; c0vid had the l0cal spay 0ffices 0nly 0pen 0n wednesday and he w0rks s0 by time he g0t an app0intment she was already pregnant. He has an app0intment set up n0w, s0 this w0nt be an issue.
Als0 her first batch 0f kittens all f0und happy h0mes and s0 will these!
h0wever, that raised a l0t 0f questi0ns f0r me. He l0ves them, i can see that clearly with h0w they behave ar0und him, h0w they're clearly well fed/watered/healthy... He did c0nfirm that Eden was fr0m that batch but he didn't say anything ab0ut her being maln0urished 0r set aside fr0m the 0ther kittens.
In fact, his father was very sad when Eden disappeared because he wanted t0 keep her.
This makes me really w0rried that s0mething bad happened t0 her. She was being fed/watered just as well with her siblings, which makes me think whatever had her in such a bad state might have been human-made. It may als0 be the reas0n why she's s0 skiddish and afraid 0f being picked up/appr0ached t00 quickly.
I'm g0ing t0 c0ntinue w0rking 0n her. I asked him t0 talk t0 his father and ask if he still wants her after I feel she's ready t0 g0 t0 a f0rever-h0me.

she walks ar0und fine n0w but she's s0 s0 s0 timid and jumpy and scared. I n0tice it m0re and m0re the better she feels. She hisses whenever y0u m0ve t00 fast 0r m0ve t0wards her 0r pick her up, and t0day when i picked her up she attacked me and bit me. This surprised me, since my 0ther cat is VERY well tempered and has never d0ne s0mething like that.
I kn0w she's a stray but she's y0ung en0ugh she sh0uldn't be fully feral.
Is there anything I can d0 t0 help her feel safer?
I want her t0 feel safe and calm and be able t0 blink 0r nap when we're ar0und.
I d0nt kn0w what happened t0 her, if this is 'wild kitty' energy 0r if a human hurt her (which is very p0ssible)

and is very receptive t0 being fed water, she wants it s0
bad she sucks 0n the little dr0pper
I'm w0rried that she actually did get hit by a car 0r hurt
because the sn0t that was sstill wet 0n her n0se when i f0und her
well i washed it 0ff her face last night and it was actually bl00d
(c0uldn't tell because her fur is s0 dark)
she als0 seems t0 have limited use 0f her back legs. Like. they w0rk

Tablet pen f0und, Kitty crisis?

s0 i f0und my tablet pen in the c0uch. 0r rather, my dad f0und it because parents have magical finding p0wers
but as i left t0day t0 take zack his lunch at w0rk, i saw s0mething i was always dreading t0 see
basically, 0ur neighb0rh00d cat M0chi had kittens (i didn't kn0w she wasn't spayed until she was already fat with baby)
and i see them run ar0und and be spunky and healthy and have a healthy fear 0f cars
but they always play by the back alley r0ad s0 ive been scared that 0ne day, 0ne 0f them w0uld get hit
S0 0n my way 0ut i see s0mething in the r0ad. and i'm h0ping its a sh0e 0r a pile 0f fur fr0m 0ur neighb0rs d0g cut earlier this week
but as i g0t cl0ser i see its a kitten, curled up in the middle 0f the r0ad
and my heart sinks cus he d0esn't m0ve at all when i drive cl0ser.
he didn't m0ve when i slammed my car d00r t0 get 0ut t0 get him.
he 0nly reacted when i grabbed him. He didn't me0w, he just m0ved. just en0ugh f0r me t0 kn0w he was alive
I've taken him h0me, g0t him f00d and s0me water. He seems t0 have a healthy appetite but he cant keep his head up 0n his 0wn
he's m0ved just en0ugh that i d0nt think he's paralyzed and i d0nt see any signs 0f being hit with a vehicle.
H0wever, he is INCREDIBLY maln0urished. y0u can feel every b0ne in his b0dy and he's sick as well (sn0tty n0se, 0ne 0f his eyes shut with mucus)
he hasn't made a me0w since i picked him up, he just fell asleep nestled against me, which als0 w0rries me because all the 0ther kittens fr0m that litter
are bigger and very skiddish 0f human beings.
I suspect he might be a runt 0f the litter wh0 was t0ssed aside. he's g0t scratches 0n him that are healed that make me thing an0ther cat
scratched him pretty hard.
s0 0n 0ne hand, i'm s0 happy he wasn't hit by a car.
0n the 0ther hand, its n0t g00d that he was s0 maln0urished/dehydrated that he c0llapsed in the middle 0f the street.
If he makes it thr0ugh the night, i'll take him t0 a vet t0m0rr0w, but f0r n0w he's safe and fed inside and able t0 rest.

Life Update!
Posted 5 years agohi everyone! Been a while since i posted any updates so i thought this would just be a fun update <3
me and cool dad recently moved into a house! Its super great to not have rhino upstairs neighbors who somehow manage to stomp at all hours of the night xD
Maple (my kitty) was pretty unhappy about it but she's doing much better and dare i say even happier with all the extra space.
The bonus birds/squirrels outside the windows certainly dont hurt ;P
My partner is moving in with me in a month! I'm so excited, I haven't been able to see him for nearly a year because of Covid but i'm super excited to start our life together <3

me and cool dad recently moved into a house! Its super great to not have rhino upstairs neighbors who somehow manage to stomp at all hours of the night xD
Maple (my kitty) was pretty unhappy about it but she's doing much better and dare i say even happier with all the extra space.
The bonus birds/squirrels outside the windows certainly dont hurt ;P
My partner is moving in with me in a month! I'm so excited, I haven't been able to see him for nearly a year because of Covid but i'm super excited to start our life together <3

Covid Update: he's better
Posted 5 years agowell, not completely better, he still has a rough cough but the fever has been gone for days and he's showing no other symptoms. From what I've seen, that cough will stick around for a while but we'd much rather deal with that than a hospital stay.
