Tag blocking. Needs improvement 🥴
Posted 5 months agoWell, the goods news is that here in Furaffinity, you can block any tag you don't like. So, when you browse in the site, the art related appears blurred.

As I said in my description, I HATE diaper furs... There are other things I don't like but tolerate like tentacles, vore, and other stuffs. I tolerate them bc for example, from time to time, tentacles come with a good mind control backstory; vore could be supported with a good drawing technique, or with a good hypnotism story, or a nice rounded belly (xd). But diapers is not good in anything, I'd say what exactly think about diapers but if I do, maybe somebody will be angry, and I don't like to fight... here, in this site, as a furry
I think the ones who programmed this site had a good idea with the tag blocking; however, there are artists who don't tag their work. I hope someday the programmers do something like making the tags obligatory if the art is "mature" or "adult". Or trust in the ones who don't tag to show their art.

My First Furmeet!
Posted 3 years agoWell, on friday I knew in my other side there would be a furmeet here in my city, that meet was posted on facebook some time ago and somehow I just knew about it this friday in my SFW 'official' spanish lang Twitter. I tried to decide if I should go or not, I'm very undecisive so I let it pass and I forgot it until sunday in the morning. I had so many home chores and when finally I finish them I said "why not?" and I went there. I usually preffer staying home, pandemic or not.
SO I took Roody for a ride.
I'm not so good as telling my stuffs so let's separete them and synthetisize them
The bad things:
* I was late, and as the sun hit with strengt in the park where it was, and many of the furballs took off their suits so I didn't see all the fursuiters.
* I'm not social, to make friends costs me A LOT. So I just stayed there in the shadows for some time until I decided to ask for photos, I felt like a predator.
* My head fursuit deformed because I packed it bad, hehe. It is a little troublesome. If I want to be "Roody" more frequently I have to fix it soon.
* let's say I am not as open as I thought but I blame to my lack of social skills and my social anxiety. Once I improve the social part of me I will enjoy my furry side tottally
The good Things:
> I took some photos with some friendly fursuiters, I felt great!
> I supperated my shame with my homemade fursuit, I took some selfies using it and even one of the fursuiters took me a photo too.
> If I count it from the moment I remembered the event, well, it improved my action response and I could count it as a quick decision! hooray for me XD
> despite the heat and the fact I barely could se from inside the fursuit head, it was so fun. I had a great time!
> two or three fursuiters had lots of energy and maybe they have coolers inside their suits, the thing is they danced sometimes, and they were very entertaining to see.
the weird things:
- A couple of lovers were giving a walk to their dog, they saw me wearing the mask and then I removed it because I needed a little thing people love, air!, they laugh a little 'cause I looked older than the other's and they realized I was a furry too. I think they were expecting me to do something with my mask on but well, I don't understand people sometimes
- I saw 5 "pups" in the meet, I took a photo with one of them, a funny guy, I wanted to talk with him but,... you know... I'm not social, very shy. I'm a little older and honestly I was worried because at least 3 of them looked to young, I thought to my self "are they aware of what they are doing?"
- in the furmeet 2 comisioners sold stickers of characters with copyright, I bought an incineroar, I like that pokemon. did they had a licence? hehe I think they don't...
My experience wasn't as epic as I expected; althought I would repeat it definitely, maybe I'll give another step and I'll try to talk to another furball and say: "I'm Roody, I have a twitter profile I barely touch and a Furaffinity and a sofurry page"

2021: the 2020 part two?
Posted 5 years agowell, everybody wants this year to finish since 11 months ago, however I have to thank at least the things weren't so bad here in my home; however I was getting very philosophical and political...
there in someplace in internet somebody said: "bad times bring good men, good men bring good times, good times bring bad men, and bad men bring bad times" if you join this with the theory of universe 25 or something, (an experiment where rats were sustained with unlimited food and everything but space [look for it on youtube]) I think despite things will be better in the next year, something tells me that bad times are on the corner, or even we are there. I HOPE I'M VERY WRONG!
However let's avoid panic and let's try to stay as better as we can, for example:
enjoy furry,
have mind control thoughts
get a boyfriend or a girlfriend
recomend me with others, hehehe, ok no
anyway, may you have a happy and lucky year!

Posted 6 years agoguess what, in fact, my name is one of a kangaroo
recently, for some strange reason, I wrote my name, roody, in the search bar of this fine website and apparently I have a doppelganger fursuiter and a couple of kangaroo OC's or fursonas :LMAO:
I laugh a little at the posibility that users were going to call themselves roody, and the system told them, sorry that user name is taken
or maybe the fursuiter went to a furry con and told to his or her new friends, "look for roody on FA", and the first thing the system shows is a pic of kangaroo eating a fox (I'm not a fan of vore) and lots of pics of a rottweiler obsesed with mind control...

what will you find if you do?
well, I'd like to find someone that had taken one of my concepts and that one had done something interesting or funny to read or see, well I have done that two or three times... for example the Futureland of
tiranmaster (I'm working on one or two new chapters, and there robot-Roody will appear)preferably giving credit for the idea I gave would be cool but if not, nah! it's ok, I'd be happy to help to fill the world of control :3

Sometimes the autor's faves are not the people's faves
Posted 7 years agoI am a David Bowie's almost-fan, I can not say I'm a total fan because there are many songs I dont like and many I haven't listened yet.
Anyway, the thing is that in some interview, Bowie said 'Time Will Crawl' was his favorite or one of his favorites songs he sang and I found it estrange because that song and even the full album was the most hated and rejected by the fans, Sadly when he died nobody remembered that song, and that song is one of my personal top 10 of Bowie's songs.
I'm not as skilled in drawing and giving color as many fur-budys but douring the time I did pics I found my favorite draws are not the most faved draws. because of this I'll name my top fav own works and the top five of most faves in my FA profile
