i have a fever and im barely coherent so im using this moment in hopes to let ppl know im very sick and its going to extend the wait yet again

i swear im working the best i can under the circumstances but i am drifting in and out of consciousness while on whatever meds these are plus im drinking throat coat tea with honey becuz im throat feelings like its got gashes in it every time i cough

I had been hoping that it wasn't that bad, but

just last night, after barely doing any drawing, I went to sleep and woke up with really bad aches in my wrist, arm, and multiple different areas

that might sound like a weird description, but to be clearer, even while drawing, I was having a lot of moments of numbness in my fingers where I had to stop. then there was clear pain in my wrist when I woke up, I tried to get up which put stress on the rest of my body and made me realize the pain in my shoulder and also my other wrist, and then more in my back and chest

I can't say whether or not it's only because of all the art I've been pushing myself through but the wrist action is almost certainly from the overwork for sure

so I'm calling it: once I'm done with this current queue, I'm gonna call art hiatus for at least two weeks, maybe even a full month. hopefully that'll be enough for me to heal up and then get back at it.

i apologize for all this.. its really my fault for setting a limit for myself with the 3 slots and then completely ignoring it. ive just really needed this laptop and there've been such worrying signs that id be unable to work enough to get anything done again. that would leave me in a situation where id have to wait for however long it would take for me to wait on people to send me donations to afford a new laptop, or i take a loan from my parents that they'd immediately start ripping out of my paychecks, and i really can't handle that right now. bad enough that on top of all this ive somehow gotta find a new job still to qualify for medicaid due to changed laws...

life is truly worth nothing these days haha, fun.

What an absolute egg on my face but HEY

Better late than never, ah

So a while ago, I had a bad enough day that I decided I'd start a little fundraising plan to get some money together to first replace my dying laptop so I can keep working, and also to go to a con next year (and also a stretch goal of making fursuit partials for when I got to the con I want to go to).

For specifics, I'm raising 2000$ for the laptop, another 2000$ for my trip to the con and also for con spending money, and the stretch goal is about 500$ (I'm experimenting with making the partials myself).

And gosh, I've been able to focus so well on work and I've gotten so many helpful donations and tips from folks over all this time that I've hit the first goal! I'm in the process of getting a new laptop as we speak!

But I'm clarifying all this right now in particular because to squeeze myself towards hitting that first goal, I took on a few extra commission pieces and now I've got an array of slots that need working on.

And with how everything's been going with random events popping up because my family doesn't tell me anything and the family iphone calendar updates suddenly and without warning a day before, I'm making the deicision to, at least only until all of the slots have been taken care of, call off commission streams.

THIS WON'T TAKE FOREVER! PROMISE! Like a week maybe two at the very worst. The very worst being that I start bumping into sidequest shit from my family like every possible day. And even THEN I know two weeks is way more than enough.

maybe I'm just being superstitious, maybe I'm just sensing that I'm overloading myself just a bit too much and not getting enough rest

but I can feel that if I try to take on another round of work this Friday, something is gonna happen outside of my control and more work is going to build up and everyone's going to be wondering where their works are and that's no good

i might set up for commissions that are more color accurate and finished for a higher price some other time, but im going to take some time to figure that out first

in the meantime, i just cant put that at the same price as what ive been doing without overexerting myself which id rather not have obv, haha

I know I recently said that I would be starting up my commission streams in either the first or second week of December

with the way things are looking, it'll be the second week

so I'll go ahead and call it:

Wednesday, December 11th and Friday, December 13th will be when I open for my two instream commissions. SFW stuff on Wednesdays and NSFW stuff on Fridays.

I'm gonna start commissions back up in either the first or second week of December.

They'll be offered via streams which will happen on Wednesdays and Fridays. If for whatever reason you can't make it to the stream but still want to claim slots, simply get in touch with me and I'll work with you.

Speaking of slots, each stream will be limited to 3 slots. If I get no claims on slots after 2 hours of streaming, I will close up shop for that day. Anyone is free to claim as many slots as they like as quickly as they want, it's first come first serve. Claiming slots will be as easy as asking in chat while I'm streaming.

The streams are separated into Wednesdays and Fridays because each will happen in different places and offer different things.

Wednesday streams will happen over on Twitch at 5pm EST. That means no nsfw requests, this is the viewer friendly stream. I'll have a ToS clarifying what's allowed.

Friday streams will happen over on Picarto also at 5pm EST. That's got the wider allowances for what you can get, sfw and nsfw, kink stuff, etc. Though of course that'll have a ToS that will apply.

There will be two prices: 27$ and 39$. This is set up this way because I'll be taking the payment through Ko-fi. DO NOT pay unless I give the okay while instream after accepting your claim on a slot. Though obviously tips are appreciated.

The 27$ option will be monochrome type things like this.

When it comes to requesting what you'd like drawn, as you saw, I won't be doing anything too complicated idea-wise for what your character is doing. It's less an inability to do so and more that I need to get three slots done in one stream. At the most, I don't want to take until 12am when I'm starting at 5pm. If you don't know what you'd like drawn, I can always improvise. Also limiting these to one character per slot.

I think that covers most of it, I'm trying to keep all of the relevant information out there in case anyone needs to know anything extra. If there's other stuff you're wondering about, be sure to ask.

I tend to need to keep myself "in shape" when it comes to drawing, especially since I haven't done a lot of nsfw work in a very long time, so this site actually lets me do that safely in the adult/nsfw tag all I like without having to switch all over the place or worry about too many things.
