Psa: with a heavy heart I am afraid to say I will no longer be able to draw on sai indefinitely... after breaking my tablet... factory reseting my randomly fried computer, and now my computer charger being completely broken... I will no longer be able to charge my computer and I really can't afford to replace it any time soon...

Brainiac is 28 years old

He originally spawned from a doodle I was doing while screen sharing on Skype back in like 2011, I was trying to see if the framerate could keep up with me drawing so my friends could watch and give me pointers

He was originally supposed to be a female unicorn but I forgot the horn and he looked too masculine so there in the spot I came up with the comedic idea of him being an earth pony who really wanted to be a unicorn

His original name was bookworm but since artist name is "Brainy Brainwash" I considered changing it to that but later settled with Brainiac because Brainwash just sounded to darn evil

His fur like all my ponies ranges in different hues of purple depending on mood and lighting which stemmed from the idea that pony fur loses saturation when sad or depressed such as when they get discorded, lost their cutie marks, or like pinkamina how her hues get darker

He is a nerdy earth pony stallion who is smaller then most earth pony stallions so he has a bit of a napoleon complex

His personality was meant to be alot like Dr.House because House m.d. is my favorite show of all time that's not animated

He kinda turned into his own character now but he's still 1000000% sass

He is a magic teacher for Celestias magic school even though he cannot use magic, he still has enough understanding to teach it and even write essays and books about theories and spells and he likes to find and hoard ancient books and magical trinkets for the canterlot library

He has one sister named rose sniffer and no other living relatives

He lives in the library in canterlot castle and keeps it running when he isn't teaching

His fur is purple because that's my favorite color and his eyes are red because that's my friends favorite color (he watched me create him) his hair is black because black hair was my hair color at the time

He is an absolute mess who forgets to eat and bathe so he's rather dirty and unpleasant to be around and his hair is always tangled and gross

His sister makes enchanted coffees that causes you to be awake for set periods of time which is usually utilized by magic students for finals and all night erst but he uses to much in succession and eventually crashes in hilariously bad timing

He has a good speaking and singing voice which is one of his few redeemable qualities and despite being an grump hes actually good with kids

I do have magic lessons typed up for the blog and stuff I made for him that many people love including magical inheritance theory

He is usually enchanted before searching for old documents and trinkets in ruins so he lights up which causes for hilarious shenanigans

His library is also enchanted and he uses magic stickers to get the books to rearrange themselves when he has something new to place in it and it's really cool to watch (hes an earth pony so he just cheats alot)

Later he does become an inventor when his outlook on life improves and he makes prosthetic horns and wings for ponies like him

He came from a unicorn family and was born without a horn thanks to his earth pony blood and he can feel the magic flowing through him but he cannot tap into it and thanks to his unicorn blood he is an lot weaker then he should be as an earth pony and this is what caused his magic obsession

His cutie mark symbolizes that he is the only current teacher who can teach rune magic as he is a one who rediscovered this dead magic himself

He gets a prosthetic horn for himself later bit it's primitive and he cannot use strong magic

In my head he sounds like Serj Tankien

His hooves are black

He is pansexual and dates both a stallion who leaves and a mare who he marries later on

He has one child so far who turned out to be a villain

And yes he does live up to his name and would be regarded as an genius if he didn't hate other ponies so much

his students are scared of his attitude

With a heavy heart I am sorry to announce that... My sketchbook app that had literally all my art from the past few years just completely reset itself, I lost all of my art including unfinished pieces... Unfinished commissions, completed pictures that where yet to be posted and all of my old settings... Everything is gone... It appears I can't have any sort of good day anymore without life sitting on me since I actually woke up feeling pretty fucking good and was in a good mood all morning until this happened.... I'm sorry to all my commissioners... I will have to start over from scratch.. I'm sorry for all the unfinished pieces that will stay unfinished now, I'm sorry I have no more high quality versions of my art to share autodesk has been glitchy as of late but this is by far the worst thing that has happened... And I'm just as angry as I am upset... I paid for this app and it ruined everything and I am super fucking pissed...
