Just dropping a line to let everyone know I'm doin' ok~

The day job has been INSANE lately - the doctor's office I work at just got bought by the local hospital so we're dealing with the paperwork and tech change over hell that is transitioning to a new system, new management, etc etc etc.

Personal life has been fine an dandy, I've just been busy/occupied because of the holidays

I'm tons more active day-to-day on my twitter and Instagram if you're lookin for me~ :3 I post lots of WIPs an stuff on there as well as personal things.

So my awesome friend  stardustfur gave me a lioness fursuit head he had kicking around. (THANK YOU STAR YOU ARE TOO GENEROUS AN SWEET AS ALWAYS <3 )

I'm in the process of modding it for myself into something more canid/domestic cat hybrid-like. :D I have a teeny head which it fits perfectly!! (srsly my head is small... LOL)

I've already reshapped the muzzle and tips of the ears, next I need to cut out the eyes to prep for the new ones I'm going to make out of painted buckram (once I get the buckram in the mail, I just ordered it)

I'm going to give her glowy iridescent horns, a new nose, ear hair, hair, new teeth, new tongue, etc, and I have to figure out how I'm going to paint her (because I don't own and can't justify the cost of buying an airbrush system) (Nose, horns, lighting for horns, and teeth have already been purchased! :D Got em from https://www.etsy.com/shop/DreamVisionCreations)

Am so super duper excited to have my very first fursuit head >o< She's a personal project, not going to be for sale once she's finished or anything. Once it's finished I'm going to commission somebody or other for paws/armsleeves and a tail, so turn her into a partial. :D

Ahhhhhhhhh I'm so nervous about painting her because I could use watered down arcylics???? or I could use my copics (I tested it on a scrap piece of fur)???? but if I use my copics I'm limited to the colors I have ink refills for, and I'd end up needing to buy more ink refills prolly, and then if I do copics I won't be able to wash it anymore with the simple alcohol/water mixture because copics are alcohol based and I just... am like... no idea how/what I should do other than by instinct based on my multitude of mixed media art projects and super careful experimentation after reading tutorial advice, but I'm doing fine so far I guess???

I'm gonna shave down some of her fur too, it's all pretty much the same length right now (short but still fluffy, maybe 1\2 inch or slightly longer?) and I really really want the hair on her muzzle and over the top of her head SHORT. I'm not too nervous about doing that, but I'm not sure if I should do that before I put in her new eyes, or after??? Anyone have suggestions on that? (Ffffffffffffft I'll prolly end up doing it tonight, or super soon, after I take out the current eyes, just because I'm impatient and I won't have the material for the new eyes soon, but I DO have the clippers/trimmers NOW >3 )

And of course any shaving I wanna do I need to do that before I paint/color her fur. And I have NO idea where/what to buy for the long (white) fur I wanna put in her ears, or the purple/blue hair I want for on top of her head. There's so many options and I've never shopped for fur before????

Like... I'm just... over here like.... ravenously reading every tutorial/info on various aspects of fursuit head making relevant to what I'm doing but I'm still all ???????????????? WELP JUST GONNA THROW MY ART SKILLS AT THE WALL AN SEE WHAT STICKS!!! Which usually serves me well. I'm excited and nervous, hahahaha. XD

I've been feeling EXTREMELY down lately because of work stuff (which I won't go into detail about, but if you follow me on Twitter you've seen some general things about it) I've been having anxiety attacks and I'm still worried about a lot of things, but coming on FA and reading posts of fellow Furries on Twitter always makes me feel at least a little better.

I can't wait to make more friends and the people I already know even in passing have been so good to me and supportive and I just wanna say thank you so much >o< I wouldn't have even come if it weren't for the encouragement of my friends, and their continued support in so many ways. Payment Info & Conditions

-Payment is due in full before I begin work

-You must be 18 or older to commission me.

-I accept PayPal only. YOU must own the account you are paying from. _{(Don't use your parents or siblings' account for example)}

-I will not accept commissions from customers within the EU. _{(This is ONLY Due to really weird EU tax laws, sorry!)}

-I reserve the right to decline a commission request for any reason.

-I reserve the right to cancel a commission due to rude, inappropriate behavior, lack of communication, or inability to communicate in English. I will give the commissioner a partial refund, and retain payment equal to work already completed, the commissioner will receive no artwork.

-I do not give refunds once I have started work, with the exception of the above situation.

-All commission prices are starting prices only, and go up depending on complexity. (I will quote you a final price once we discuss the details of your commission request.)

My Workflow & 'The Queue'!

-I don't work on commissions on Friday night, Saturday, or Sunday. *1

-I work on commissions in the order that they are taken. First in, first out, first come, first served.

-I will start work on a com after yours in my queue only if I need to get ahold of you for approval of some aspect of your com and you aren't able to get back to me quickly. _{(Other reasons things might be finished slightly out of order is that I work on digital and real media artwork at different times.)}

-My queue/work list is 'private' atm
_{(Only because I'm TERRIBLE about constantly updating any online list} But feel free to ask me AT ANY TIME where your commission is in my queue/how many people are ahead of you!

-When you commission me I will give you a rough estimate of when I will start work on your com/when you can expect it to be completed. *2

-If your commission is a gift with a deadline, like a birthday gift, tell me the deadline WHEN you commission me, to make sure I am able to deliver the art on time! (If your commission is a gift/surprise, PLEASE LET ME KNOW if you DON'T want me to post it, as I routinely share WIPs on Twitter, Insta, and Facebook. I can refrain from posting until after a requested date if asked.)

-Payment is due within 24 hours after claiming/ending of the auction, no exceptions. Do not claim/bid if you are not able to pay within 24 hours. If you do not pay within this timeframe the adopt will be relisted for sale.

-All auctions are timezone: -5hours GMT EST Florida

-Do not resell any adoptables for more than you bought them, unless you are selling them with extra goodies like badges or art.

-Do not edit any adoptables you buy from me and then try to resell them as a different design or as a child of the adopt. Dat's just rude.

Who owns the finished artwork???

-I retain all rights to the artwork & you retain all rights to your character.

-By commissioning me you are not buying the rights to the artwork, only the production of it, and the right to own personal copies.

-Commissioned artwork can be used for personal use only. Wallpapers, prints for YOURSELF (not to sell), cropped versions of for icons, etc. but you cannot, for example, use it to make prints or buttons, etc, or redistribute and sell the artwork to make a profit yourself in any way.

-I retain the right to display the commissioned artwork on any current or future website, gallery, etc. I also retain all rights to the artwork including the right to make prints and merchandise.

-Any rejected sketches and other forms of preliminary artwork remain my property and may be used for any future commissions or personal work.

Will/Won't Draw

Will draw: Chibis, humans, animals, most non-sexually explicit fetishes, avians & dragons, small elements of gore, SMALL mechanical/armor elements, mythical creatures, micro, nudity
-I CAN draw your Fursona based only on a written description but there will be a design fee added to the cost if you have no visual references.

Won't draw: Heavy mechanical/armor design, heavy gore, excessive violence(judged on a case by case basis), scat, water sports, 'dark' or extremely creepy themed stuff, minors in any sexual situation, hateful images(racism, etc). Sona's that are not your own (unless it is gift art)

Extra/Further explanations for some of the things above, for those curious:

*1_{It's the only time I get to see my boyfriend because we live almost two hours away from each other, so we spend the weekends together. Or on Holidays, for the same reason. :)}

*2_{If you are curious about how long it might be before I get to yours at any time AFTER you've already commissioned me, feel free to send me a message, it doesn't bother me at all. :3}

*3 _{FYI to people who commission me at cons, I don't keep any phone numbers after I have cleared someone from my commission queue, for the sake of courtesy/privacy.)}

*4 _{Even IF the worst happens and your commission gets lost in the mail, real media commissioners are emailed a high res scan of the finished artwork, so you WILL have your pic!}
