my twitter account was unceremoniously restored this morning! i literally accidentally tapped on it from one of my other accounts in my bio and suddenly it was back. no response from twitter support but things are good. i am very low energy and have commissions to finish but once i get those done i'll be re-orienting myself and trying to push my other platforms. i'm also re-evaluating how much work i am taking (being hit with suddenly potentially being able to take less work felt RELIEVING in a way to me and that made me realize i might be pushing it with how much work i take)

hi so uh i just checked my email and noticed that my twitter was suspended... for evading a twitter suspension? i have never been suspended on twitter before so this was definitely completely in error and i'm submitting an appeal but i don't trust Elon Musk Corporation to actually fix my problem. i do my entire business on twitter pretty much so i feel sick and terrified. i don't know what to do other than wait for an appeal and pray to God or whatever that something gets done. for now i wanted to let the few people who follow me here who followed my twitter to know. i hope i can get back in contact with my commission clients because honest to god i don't remember everyone's names......

edit: i recovered client names + i was really panicked when i wrote this journal but i’m a lot calmer now. seems there’s a wave of false positive suspensions going on where people are randomly getting falsely suspended for ban evasion just like me, and i’m hopeful that it’ll get rolled back at some point. in the meantime i have contact with clients and i’ve let a few people in the twitter furry community know. fingers crossed!

edit 2: hey my panicked state last night doesn't reflect the reality of the situation, i wrote it mid-panic attack. even if i hadn't found my clients' twitter usernames i had their emails, i do keep a list of my commission work, and while i am most active on twitter i do post to other platforms and keep a personal backup of all my artwork on my computer (i wouldn't lose my art from being banned off of any platform/account). i also have contacts within the twitter community that i informed as well. i just made this journal to let people know why my twitter was suspended, i appreciate the advice but i have things under control

i plan to open commissions towards the beginning of every month if possible, assuming my health is alright enough to do so. feel free to ask me for a quote while i'm closed and contact me when i open again next month! i may also make spontaneous "first come first served" slot openings on my twitter like i used to on occasion.

it's pretty obvious that for the past year or two i've really neglected my FA gallery here in favor of being very active on twitter, but i am sick of the twitter media tab and also have enough of a following here that i feel compelled to actually post here - i'll be updating my gallery with stuttered uploads of art i haven't uploaded over the upcoming weeks and i hope to be a little more active here from now on. twitter will probably still always be my preferred platform but yeah. thank you everyone who has stuck around over here despite me being so inactive o/
