Hey everyone!
been a bit since I made a journal but I wanted to come by and update and give ya'll some news about what's going on outside of the site.

1. My birthday has come and past! it was Aug. 27th and I had a lovely day!

2. My computer chair BROKE! I need to get a new one, that will be between 50-100$
currently my chair is wibbly wobbly and won't stay up, so I'm forced to sit at the lowest setting on and uneven seating. SOOooOOoOO a new chair sooner than later would be nice

3. I got an online shop! >> IT'S RIGHT HERE!<<
I sell charms, stickers, and pins! Hoping to add more things soon, working on some spooky themed stuff and more fandom related things.

4. Commissions are open!
I'm typically always open for commissions, right now larger pieces are closed but everything else is open ^3^

5. I have a TikTok!

Long story short my parter  Croft and I's car died while out the other day. Won't start, turn the key no sound at all so we need to get it fixed...again.
We are unsure at this time what is wrong with it, we are guessing it's the starter that will need replaced.
As of right now we need to get the car towed to our preferred garage then have them check it over and tell us what's up, then get that fixed. We are still paying off the last bill on the car so we are both offering some emergency commissions to help pay these bills.

Been a while since I have made a journal but here I am!
Just to let you guys know that I do have a Patreon, it's to help support new projects and things for you all such as Bases, Prints, Merch, creative art journals, and even a game I would love to make!

I'm sorry for the last journal, it was written during a panic attack and I said things that were a little out of line or just coming from a dark place in my soul. I'm alright and will be alright.

I'm doing my best to keep up with what I got on my plate while still making sure I got new work coming in to pay bills and just keep things on a steady flow. I know I got a queue to work on and it all can be seen on my Trello, if you ever want to see please let me know and I can share it with you.
I've had so much happen lately, October was completely dedicated to InkTober while I worked on other commissions as well but it was mainly focused on the challenge. It was a well needed break and take away to help me get back into the swing of things and liven me back up to want to do more than just digital work.
November was a lot for me too, I pushed myself hard to take on what I had on my plate and get caught up on passed work that was ordered back in June before I went to Ocean City with my family while also working on smaller newer work.
I also had a few panic attacks while at my day job which really shut me down and just caused my feet to draw a bit. I'm so sick of my day job but with out it my bills will go unpaid or well, a major part of the income for my bills will be gone... I do apologize that I let my real life cause so many issues.

This month has been insane. I'm working my butt off to get work done, I've gotten people coming to me to do Christmas gift art and are paying rush fees to get it done before the holiday. I'm still working on normal commissions as well but these deadlined pieces take the top priority.
I also have moved a larger commission to the top of my list as well, the clients do not mind the wait BUT the one has grown ill and hasn't been doing so well so I really want to get it done to help bring some good vibes her way and help her feel better. This piece was ordered a good long while ago so it is indeed my oldest on my list.
I also have a piece that is a larger piece that was order a good bit ago that I've been working on off and on due to subject matter so that's also on the top of my list to get done as well.

Hey everyone wanted to make this journal as a way to update and explain my current commissions queue. I will always be the first to admit when I have fallen behind/lost interest in specific pieces that are own my list.

As of right now this is my current queue >> ON TRELLO

I took on Overwatch themed commissions back last year around June. It's coming up onto a year and I still have 3 on my list. I feel bad for how long I have taken on these pieces and have already updated each piece from a chibi commissions to a full figure piece to compensate the clients.
I've been slowly working on them between new work but I plan to crack down and work hard on them and try to get them done before I leave for Ocean City on the 3rd.
I hate 2 out of 3 sketched and refined all I need to do is ink and color and one I still need to sketch out.
REASON FOR TAKING SO LONG
Like I said I will be the first to admit when I have made a mistake and I did not know how detail and stressful these pieces were going to be for me at the time I took them one. I ended up getting through a good chunk of them and got 100% burnt out on them and just couldn't put myself up to working on the last 3 right away so I kept putting them off.
In the future if I am to ever take on another Overwatch piece I will have to charge more, and have to make sure I also account for extra time for work on it due to detail.

NEXT:
I owe sketches for a few people and will be working on all of those this week.
Once sketches are sent out the pieces will be finished in order of queue.

TIMELINE:
I am leaving for vacation on June 3rd and will not return till June 10th. During that time I WILL NOT BE WORKING ON COMMISSIONS as I will be with my family and do not want to get distracted from out time together.

I will be doing my best to get through as much work as I can before I leave. After Sunday of this week I will not be working my day job at all. With that being said I will be keeping to a hard scheduled and forcing myself to stay on track and get work done.
I also plan on streaming a lot next week in order to help keep me focused on the work I have on hand. By streaming it'll keep me from going onto Tumblr, Facebook, and any other distracting website.

FINAL:
I will be posting a YCH on my adult account  blacklightclub later tonight and it will end next week. The piece itself will not be started till after vacation. The piece is featuring a pinup style pose in a Swimsuit (and other pose options).

Alright so the holiday is upon us and  croft and I are going home to visit our families for Christmas and to do so both of us are holding sales and raising money to make sure all our bills and stuff are covered for the trip.

Unlike Croft I'll be staying home longer than he because my father was SUPER kind and bought concert tickets for my mum, sisters, and myself to go see Twenty One Pilots... however the concert is at the end of January meaning that I will not be working at my day job for 7 weeks.
I only work the weekends so that's 21 days (126 hours).
My day job basically covers my student loans and rent for the months and with out having those hours I need to make sure I raise enough money before and while at home to cover not only Holiday shopping and spending but my bills as well.

I won't know for sure exactly how much I'll need to make extra till I leave, because I am painting the windows at my work this week, and I have no idea if I'll be given a "tip" or not for doing so. I've received this tip all but once and it has helped out a lot, but I know it won't cover everything but it'll still factor in.

So I need to make the money.
What it'll cover:
December Loans: $200 (paycheck hopefully)
January Rent: $350
January Loans: $200
Feburary Rent: $350
--main bills total: $900

Holiday Spending: $250ish (this will cover end of Dec and Jan spending)

Pay paid on 5th: $207 (before taxes)
Pay paid on 19: $423 (before taxes _{this is estimated as I do not know amount of hours I'll have yet due to time needed for painting windows})

Then that's it till I get back from the Holiday vacation, I will be trying to pick up a few extra lunch shifts the week we are leaving so that I can have a pay to get on the 2nd of Jan.

Hubby does want me to help with other bills and things to if I can, and I would as well so he's not over worked... but mainly he needs me to make sure what I have listed above it taken care of with out any worry.

So in short, I would really love it if you could help me out and consider getting a commission from me or checking out one of my sales. If you can not get anything maybe a signal boost and promo for both Dan and I that would be super lovely!

Hey guys! Sorry for the delay in updates but that’s what I’m here to do now. As some of you may know I went away for about a month on a vacation to visit family, we went to croft’s family reunion, went to Kennywood with his sister and dad, then after that we went up to my family’s camp for a nice little trip. We had a good vacation, a little disoriented after the trip tough due to some financial hiccups that I won’t go into details here, in short we didn’t have enough in savings/made before we left so now we’re just scrambling a bit to make up for it.

Over all things are going good, I’m getting caught up on commission work, I didn’t get anything done while home my family kept me super busy and the moments I did have time to work on art I ended up just doing some personal things or did art with my sister.
I’ve gotten a few pieces done since I’ve been back and I’ll be working on a pattern of Large Piece then Small Piece to get them caught up faster.
Currently I’m finishing a piece that features H2O Delirious and VanossGaming this should take me anywhere between 13-20 hours to finish as the refined sketched was OK’ed last night. I’ll be making a recording of this for my youtube channel, RottingRootsArts as well. Once this piece is finished I’ll be working on the next Overwatched Themed piece on the list, I’ll be editing my queue list to represent this order so you can keep track of when your piece will be next and you can follow that over on my Trello account. Commissions are going strong right now, I do have a queue at the moment but am still taking on more work in order to make sure I can pay bills and things while away for vacation. We leave in 5 days (Friday July 15th) and I had hoped to raise $800 for the trip, so far I've only raised $300, and that's just been enough to pay July and Aug rent.

Every year my husband, and I got home for a family camping trip with my folks; this has been a traditional for my family ever since I was a wee little baby. Well this year we’ll be extending our trip to also include going to his family reunion thus giving us a longer vacation this year. We don’t get to go home very often to see our families, mainly just this trip for camp and a trip home for Christmas so if I’m unable to go it really breaks my heart.

The trip, like mentioned above, will be a rather long trip for us and I’m super excited. We’ll be leaving on July 15th and returning on August the 12th. Leaving for this amount will cut into both his and my work time causing us to either work super slow or not at all while on vacation. I personally do not mind working on commissions while home, however my family loves to do things while I’m there and I normally do not get a lot of work time so I do not want to have to take work while home but do not mind having a small queue while there.
I’ll also be missing a few days of my day job while away, since I have a new scheduel of only 2 days a week I’ll only be missing 8 days (48 hours, so about $430ish).

So in order to make sure bills and things will be covered for July and August I’ll be having a sale to raise money for our trip home. Now Dan will be doing his best to make what he’ll need so my break down will be for my parts of the trip/bills.

Along with all that I do have a Patreon and a Redbubble as well, these are another way to help support me if you can not get commissions or can only donate a small amount. Trust me, every little bit helps.

All “Camp Commissions” will be worked on once my current workload is finished. I’ll be working on all pieces in order as they are paid for (unless a deadline/rush is put on the piece). Please be considerate while asking about your piece and updates, you can follow all progress of my work on Trello as I will do my best to update this often.

I will not have full internet access while in the woods, that will be Aug 1-7, we do tend to go to the public library at least once a trip so I can update and contact then. While at camp though I do not wish to work on commissions I rather have full focus on my family, I will be doing my best to get things done before we leave for the forest.

First off I want to say for those of you who follow me over on BlackLightClub I am having issues getting back onto that account. I've e-mailed them about it and in all honest am not happy with how they responded to my concerns. I sent it from my main e-mail explaining how that account is on a different one and what it would be, however I'm getting an error message when I try. They didn't even seem to read my e-mail explaining the situation and in all honesty it pissed me off.
I resubmitted an e-mail if I get a similar response I'll try e-mailing through the e-mail that should be the correct one for it and see if that helps... over all I'm locked out of my adult page for now.

I'm agendered and sometimes like to go by Jimi online. It's my male/nonbinary persona and I've been growing more and more attached it over the years.
You are more then welcome to keep calling me Root or Dreah as those are two of my other names I like to go by.

Hey everyone just a small update to keep my thoughts in order and to give you a heads up on what is to come. I'm finishing up my "Halloween Sale" commissions and they should be wrapped up by tomorrow night which means I can get things ready to open up for the Holiday Sale I have in mind.

For Christmas I'll be doing a Pinup sale called "Santa's Little Helper" and these will all be Full Figure pieces. The images will be TRUE pinups which means it's more about the seductive allure of a pose verse just being nude and junk is everywhere.
The clothing for the pieces can vairy to VERY skimpy or artistic nude, to lingerie, to even just full on ugly christmas sweaters. Once the sale opens I'll have a small form for people to fill out so we can get what you want and all that fun jazz.
The prices will range between 25-45$.

I also currently have Monster Mystery Egg adopts up for sale right now, I got 2 left. I'll be working on the design between commissions and this week while my mother and sister are visiting.
