So. It's occurred to me that I've been running my art shop WRONG for a lot of years. No one's fault but my own and a good heaping's worth of lack of knowledge for the general market over the last 6+ years. I knew I'd become disconnected from a good chunk of workings, but I hadn't realized just.... how much. And I feel like in a way, I've been cheating you all out of assets and artwork that you could have had access to.

I'm here to change that. Starting Today.

So you know the only issue with working for new start up companies? When those companies don’t plan past the first 30 days of business to have revenue to pay you even if the business isn’t yet “‘up to speed.” Which, to be clear, MOST new businesses take 3-5 years to get up and running properly and “‘make money” on paper/taxes; & in this instance the business owner believed so strongly in themselves they thought this was going to be at capacity just 30 days in.

Unfortunately what that meant was they couldn’t afford to pay me past those first 30 days. So I’m now looking for a job again & you guessed it:

Finalizing card layout, and working on some overall and much needed art upgrades.

I was consumed by the Toks of Tik. Honestly, I have received more feedback love and attention for my work on TikTok than I have on any other platform. It fits, it feels right, and I'm grateful for having finally looked into it. Read their entire legal thing, they don't ask for any other information than Facebook, Twitter or any of the rest of these blasted social media sites do.
