Well, if folks don't know, both my spouse and I are transitioning. That's been a big thing getting the meds and therapy together. We'll see how it goes.
In other therapy news I'm starting EMDR. Should be as fun as a biopsy without anesthesia.
I'm almost two years in covid isolation. Wheeeeeeee. I scared my office in a team meeting when I confessed I haven't left the apartment with small exceptions in nearly 2 years. What's up with that you ask? See sentence on EMDR therapy.
I did volunteer at MFF, and I still love volunteering there. (Going from 1 to 9000 people in my life was a trip) It makes me happy to see everyone and help them out.
Games are Genshin, Alice Closet, and Neon Abyss. Did do halo. But the repetition of multiplayer gets to me. My spartan has kitty ears tho.

Strawberryneko, I realized she'd captured each year perfectly.

2019 was when I got back on stage as a performer, as the greeter and opening act for The Eccentric Expedition, a scifi variety show. I was afraid of being on stage for a long time, so I took any other job I could find within theatre. This year, I got a chance to perform, and perform as the panda, and it was -GREAT-. I had a lot of fun, and people reacted positively. I had already made plans to continue with The Expedition, as it found a new theatre, and was actively looking up physical theatre classes, and had commissioned new costumes for Lei Lei.

March 14, I was told by my job that because of my 90 minute commute, I was going to be working from home to prevent the risk of my catching COVID and spreading it to the office. Within a month, my boss was furloughed as well. I was trapped at home, my responsibilities had tripled, and outside my house there were mass demonstrations, police violence, and it felt like every dream I was living for was gone. The depression and anxiety was deep, and I felt like all the joy and magic I'd worked for was gone forever. Because I didn't want to hurt myself, or break my spouse's heart, I turned to therapy.

I'm still at home. But therapy let me talk about transition, and helped me into group therapy for people dealing with the same things. Now I medicate, I exercise, and I have therapy twice a week. Sometime in summer, I'll start HRT. I started a storytelling show on my discord, so I'm performing once a week, telling the fairytales, short stories, and original fiction I love. Going through this process has put my spouse on the gender journey as well. Right now, the sun is shining, it's brisk and lovely, and no matter what happens next, I'm doing better than I thought. I still might not be Lei Lei for a while, but I'm more Rowan than I've ever been.

So, if you don't already know, I'm lei Lei (Hi!) who are you? Are you doing okay?
I've been suiting for a little bit, my suit is a partial from the lovely
. The only modifications I've made are hair extensions I futz around with.
The last couple of years, I've been attending, and now volunteering for MFF. Along with that, I was the opening act for a scifi variety show called 'the eccentric expedition' in chicago! 2019 was the most suiting I've done in years, and I got to really enjoy being the character.
AND THEN THE APOCALYPSE HAPPENED.
So the show is gone, MFF/Anthro is gone, and it's just difficult to go outside. So, what's a panda to do?
PRACTICEPRACTICEPRACTICE.
I'm not small, which I know for a lot of folks is icky, and for others is kinda sexy (HI!!<3) so I figured I'd take the time to make being a panda easier and get all energetic and dancing.
I started with P90X for big people. It was good, and I definitely got my workout, but there's a sort of douchey fratboy vibe that Tony Horton projects. Dealing with that a half hour a day was not my idea on fun.
This past month has been 'Hip Hop for Beginners', taught by this tiny scotsman. Nothing's funnier than finishing a routine and hearing 'EASY PEASY LEMON SQUEEZY!"
I'm looking for new videos, as 'Hip Hop' is almost done with its self-imposed 30 day cycle.
So, any suggestions? Maybe more of the scotsman? Other weight/endurance training? I've got bands, and weights. I'm hoping my old tai chi studio releases a video. I like that.

It's -sooooooo- adorable!
One of the challenges/i've had is matching the body my suited form has, and the artwork I have. This is the first pic I've received where LeiLei is as big as she is at cons and events, and is still one cutie patootie!
I love the cute pose, and especially the eyes, which either are totally playful, or indicating she wants -all- the cake, and sees where the cake is.
