COMMISSION STATUS
I currently have a few commissions from Vancoufur to work on so I will be doing those first.
After that there are about 6 people on my waiting list who I will be addressing (thank you for your patience)
I also have 1 YCH to finish
Along with my commission I am near to finishing 2/3 Art trade pictures with some very good friends.

Hey guys, so
I dont think I am going to attend vancoufur tomorrow. I might have a look but I just dont feel that there were enough people there. I know it wasnt just me, a lot of the other artists didn't think the set up was that great either.
I also thought it was kind of stupid that the dealers in the same room can use the wifi but the artists are not entitled to it (what?)
So yeah...
Met some cool people but overall I was sitting amongst a lot of very bored looking people. And for the 11 hours I was there, honestly I would rather be at home or outside doing something fun.
I'll be looking up the cool people I met soon, Some really great artists in there that I really need to watch and jam with. Woo~

Hey guys, just out of curiosity I was wondering if anyone was really interested in "tiny arts"

Like things smaller then say 5"x5"
so art cards 2.5"x 3.5"
small tile sizes 2"x2" 3"x3" 4"x4" etc
tiny arts can also be original key or bag tags/badges

They are super easy to store and collect, and can you believe it? they even sell frames for some of the small sizes :O (I didn't know)


I am asking because along with badges which I might consider "tiny art" depending on certain things they are not hard or expensive to ship.

I will have a few tiny art items for sale at artist alley, but would ayone be interested in buying or commissioning tiny arts?
I was thinking it might be a fun way for people to collect some art without it taking up a ton of space or costing an arm and a leg.

I may do a few traditional YCH's which would be shipped to you.

500 watcher, omg thank you guys!!!

This was my next goal and I am so thrilled to have reached it!
You all know that means I will be having a watchers appreciation raffle :D

I am extremely busy at this time so I will have to hold off on that raffle for a little bit (sorry) but don't worry I will have it up as soon as I can!

What I am doing right now
1. Looking for a new job :/
2. Working to pay my bills
3. Valentines Commissions still in progress
4. Preparing to attend  Vancoufur and hopefully to get a spot in artist alley! (Ie: Making some new art, originals, prints, key chains and ofc POSTERS!!!!

Raffle Question:
With that being said does anyone have an interest in such items? I will be selling them at My artist Alley table and worst case scenario in the Tim Hortons or the back of my car, lol (please don't let this happen to me tt-tt I will probably actually cry if this happens. I really really wanted to try but its first come first serve tt-tt, don't let my first exp be horrible, please come visit me Q-Q )

ok ok, but main point, if there is an interest in this kind of merchandise I may opt to offer them as prizes for my watcher appreciation. meaning I WILL SHIP YOU A REAL LIFE SIGNED ITEM just for being a watcher!

Attention previous commissioners.

I am posting this journal out of respect for all of you who have paid for artwork of your character but do Not feel comfortable with me selling an image with your character in it.
Please note that I will be giving a credit to YOU as the owner of x character on the back of the print where I put my information.

If a print does really well I will also give a credit to the original commissioner for a FREE piece of artwork~

Please PM or comment if you do NOT want your image printed. In which case I will slightly alter the image so that it is not longer your character etc.

If you are not comfortable with it then please, keep this in mind for the future as I do sell prints and originals through my website.

If you do not let me know and I print/sell the image, there is really nothing I can do after but make you aware of the ToS which you should have read prior to commissioning me. ( you should always read the ToS of any artist prior to commissioning )

I would like to attend artists alley this year as well as offer some new prints for my website. As such I will be making some prints from the art I have created this past year.

Please remember that by commissioning me ( or allowing me to post the image if this was a gift) you agreed to my ToS in which in regards to creating prints, I state that.

Hi guys,

So I don't know how either of this happened but...

Today I lost my job, as the position is currently "not needed" though I have good reason to disagree.
I felt so discouraged all evening. I was told that I was doing a fantastic job on the very hard task I was given. I set it up and made it work. I ordered all the materials, I got it done without the help I was promised and suddenly... when I am about finished... I am told...

You did a great job, I am very very happy with the work you have done for the company but...
we are laying you off...
You are welcome to call us and come back in late March, we would love to have you.
Then I was given my last check and told to go home.

I packed all my things and said goodbye to all my co-workers that could not understand my leaving. They even tried to help, but... "the decision had been made" by whomever deems themselves worthy to pick a name and cross it off the payroll.
There are even people there that I must wonder... "how are they keeping this job?"
Any ways... it is done and there is nothing I can do.

Not sure how I feel about going back to the company in March. If I find another job sooner I surly with take it! For this is the 2nd time I have worked here and been told I did awesome work but was getting the boot regardless. Makes you want to give up you know?
I am so grateful to my co-workers who all had a reference and a contact in other companies they were eager to give me.


Then my really close friend tells me the Dr. doesn't want him to have his proper medication because some people get addicted... Sad part is... he has tried not taking it, but because this is a nerve problem if he doesn't have it... he really can't even get out of bed. he lives alone and he cant work atm. He is being supported by his family and well... I do my best to help out when I can. He is upset... I am upset... and the day just seems to get worse... I can do nothing for him except to be there as a friend (Cooking, cleaning, shopping etc), I know that's not enough nor is it very valuable but... that seems like all I can do. I would never ask anything in return... not even the money. I just want him to get better.

About 20 mins ago I came on-line, for no reason other then to see my latest commissioner had received his image yet and shut off my computer (don't feel like finishing up my other piece)

So... I posted the YCH picture http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15557004/ earlier today. It got one comment which I replied then I just went and went to lay on the couch. Almost sleeping... just thinking... "why me" with the tv in the BG. I haven't even eaten at all :(
But then I see this... number in my FA

over 100 submissions, normal... a bunch of journals... yup... then... 64 favs and omg... 20 watchers and a note.
I know for a lot of people that is nothing, but for me to get that in just one day is really very special. I am not a popular or well known artist. It's a fact that my art still needs much improvement and I am competing with many MANY artist out there. I have always wanted to create things that people just... love, that they want to look at again because it is just so interesting or well done. You know when you have that one picture that you just wish you had the skill and creativity for. I want to make that. Maybe one day I will...

Overall I just wanted to say thank you guys... All of you who watch, comment and support my artwork. It means more to me then you know I am sure. Seeing that is like a milestone to me. I don't think I have EVER had more then 3 watchers at a time, and it really did cheer me up in the darkness that I have felt today.
I don't know why my artwork has ever meant so much to me but it does. So thank you.
Maybe I will go buy that sketchbook I wanted so that I can practice my traditional work and meet some of you in artists alley, Vancoufur 2015 (I know its coming soon, but if I can get some practice I really want to give it a try.)

The reason why I have not streamed my drawings since October is simply this

I lose my concentration
I get distracted
It makes the progress go slower overall

I love having you guys around to chat with me but when I am drawing... O am drawing. Thinking, figuring things out, maybe even researching. That gets broken when I stream. People chatting, asking questions, sometimes even lag.

I will still be posting vids on youtube etc, when I feel like I make something worthy of posting but other then that... Its like having a bunch of people looking over my shoulder, but not only watching...
pointing, touching, asking and that just doesn't work for me. I want to sit down and concentrate on what I am doing and learning.

I will rarely stream now, and if I do its either a personal work that I am just playing around with or some freebie art.
Sorry, but this is the truth.
I really do appreciate not being disturbed.

Also, don't be afraid to let me know of anything I can improve on, even a bad review can make make your experience better. The only reason I would NOT post something was if I found it extremely unfair or if the person who wrote it never actually commissioned me (its happened! wtf right?)
I do edit them, mainly for grammar or if they are just too long.
