Countdown...1...2..3..

So my Summer is coming down to a close...actually heading back up to Starkville Friday. OwO; Doesn't mean that I don't have anything to do either. xD

Been cleaning and packing furniture/clothing for the big move in day Friday to our new apartment. It's bigger and less expensive than our last one. ^^ Soooo quiet and peaceful..and safe!

My classes for this semester are pretty good. I have my busiest day on Monday with Statistics, Advance Computer Studio, Physical Geography Lab. Tuesday and Thursday are my big break day with early morning Watercolor Painting Survey and afternoon Physical Geography. Wednesday is just Statistics and Advance Computer Studio...and Friday is Statistics at Noon instead of 8AM.

Doesn't mean I won't be busy doing other things...

I'm Vice President for Mississippi State University's Anime Club. I'm also attending the artist alley at Geekonomicon for December 11-13, 2015..actually the weekend after exams in Biloxi. xD;

So for that con, we will do a few new tails, button designs, and maybe some prints. :3

Other than that...working on some late group art for Monster Academy.

DragonFoxStar and I share our birthday tomorrow. :3 I'm not sure what we'll be doing tomorrow..I know for sure that we're having our birthday party Sunday afternoon. OwO

Mechacon Prep:

We're preparing for Mechacon's Artist Alley. We'll be at table #304! Our goal is to have 30 large tails, 30 mini keychain tails, 10 button designs, and 2 small prints (maybe).

Our friend and Mitzep are coming along for the ride, so we're preparing a costume for our friend and Mitzep is going to roam around in his blue/black/white fox ears and tail. xD;

Other than that, we're super excited. We haven't been back to this con in two years and look forward to seeing old friends. xD

More:

After Mechacon, we'll be on vacation July 25 to August 1. When we come back, we'll be packing things up to head back to MSU sometime before August 17 (first day of classes). I know for sure I'm taking Watercolor Painting, Advance Computer Studio, Physical Geography, and Statistics. It could be a relaxed semester or not..who knows? xD; At least it's 2 studios instead of 3...that's too hectic and definitely not taking an art history this semester. Thank goodness. >w<;

Mechacon is about a month's time away! So close and so much stuff to do but making lots of progress!

Currently we have 21 tails ready. Needing to at least have 30 in total..so 9 more to go!

Doing some mini keychain tails too! Probably 10 or so.

5 or 10 designs for buttons. We have 100 total blank buttons to punch during the con!

Also will have 2-5 designs for small prints if time allows!

I had lots of fun and it's been forever since I laughed and smiled that much! You guys don't know how much I always look forward to the convention season because of the awesome friends that I have met over the years.

Surprisingly though, this will be the first time in 2 years that I'm going back to Mechacon. We took a 2 year leave from going mostly due to finance issues..but we have an artist alley table this year! Woot!

So if you guys are near the New Orleans, LA area and/or going to Mechacon, come say hi to  dragonfoxstar and I as  kitandkatcreations at table # 304! We'll be selling faux fur tails, small prints, and buttons! OwO Our goal is to have 50 tails, 5 small prints templates, and 100 ready to make buttons. OwO We're so excited! We'll also be taking a few on-site commissions and of course commissions if anyone wants something that we might not have at the con. OwO Getting ready to order business cards here in the next few days too! ^^

After Mechacon on July 17-19, Niki and I will be on hiatus July 25-Aug 1st as we (as in family) are taking a much needed vacation to the beach, primarily on Doctor's Order for my Mom. xD; After that, we'll be getting things packed up yet again for the apartment..which we'll be bringing furniture this time too. xD; So excited for the new school year! I'll be taking Watercolor Painting Survey, Advance Computer Studio, Physical Geography, and Statistics. It'll be a somewhat relaxing semester compared to the hectic one last Spring. >w<;

A-Kon 26 is right around the corner. I've never felt so unprepared..usually I'm already packed a week in advance..but it's been hard to work on everything right now. >w<

Things left to do:

Team magma grunt-Sew leg/arm warmers, gather pokeball/red belt, and sew black M/circle/horns on hood, and find grey tank top shirt.

Kinako- detangle wig and fix loose seams

Faun OC- make or find horns and get either unitard/ fit tank top

Roxas- make 2 finger cuffs and get a pair of black socks

Clean costume pieces that need cleaning.

Pack- personal items that includes clothing/ make up, sketchbook, camera, purse, wallet, and phone. Lanyard, costumes in plastic tubs or hanging bags, custom shirt, and wigs. Keyblades too.

Double/ Triple check list everything...and head over to Dallas Thursday night. :3

...and I still have mine and another con badge to work on. >w>;

THE STRUGGLE IS REAL! The stress is not needed at all...;^;
