October Recommendation: The Scooby Doo Project

The Scooby gang get lost in the woods while trying the solve the mystery of a mysterious creature lurking within the forest. The Scooby-Doo Project is a 1999 American live-action/animated found footage horror comedy television Halloween special satirizing The Blair Witch Project and the Scooby-Doo franchise.Hello Again! Happy spooky month. Bit of a different kind of recommendation but it's fitting for the month.
This was a series of bumpers that Cartoon Network aired on Halloween of 1999, all compiled into a full movie. It's pretty short, only like 17 minutes, but it's one of the funniest and most interesting portrayals of the scooby-doo cast I've seen. Also since this was the late nineties, this was before scooby-doo became as widely satirized as it is now, so It's pretty ahead of its time.
September Story Recommendation: Mercy Gone Wrong
Posted a year agoSince my presence can be kinda on and off, I want to recommend some artists here and there that may keep you busy in the meantime. Here's my recommendation for this month:
This is a really cool comic with a fairly unique art style for the CotL fanbase. I also really love the extra lore they've added. Narinder and the Lamb have a really cool dynamic. They're not shipped together in this one, and their relationship feels more in line from what I'd expect from the game. Go and check it out, it's super interesting!
Mercy Gone Wrong by Faery-The-Diamond
"After the final fight Lambert spares Narinder, believing that it was finally over. However, one little moment of distraction was enough for Narinder to give Lambert a nasty surprise right after. It didn't work as The One Who Waits planned, resulting in Lambert getting stuck inside the Red Crown. Unable to get separated, Narinder and Lambert must now learn how to work with each other to keep sustaining the cult while also searching for a way to free Lambert from the Crown. Both of them are in blissful ignorance, unaware of the bigger picture that was always there."This is a really cool comic with a fairly unique art style for the CotL fanbase. Updated a bunch of stuff
Posted a year agoI know, I'm bad at keeping up with stuff, but here's another round of keeping to it.
On FA, the welcome banner and comic directory has been completely updated and cleaned up with a bit of HTML magic. I've also reorganized the folders, created groups, and created separate folders for art vs comics. My personal website has also been updated with the latest comics. However, I decided to delete my inkbunny account. It's been a hassle keeping up with yet another uploading site, and not a lot of folks go there anyways so I went ahead and scheduled the account for deletion.

Posted a year agoGood evening, y'all! I wanted to give an update on how things have been going production wise.
First of all, I want to apologize for the infrequent/inconsistent uploading. I've really been having an issue with focus and burnout lately. I'm working about 40 hours between two jobs right now, and while that's not really anything special, I've found that I have an incredibly hard time switching gears when I get home after work. It's like of course I want to work on art and comics and stuff, but I can't get myself in front of the computer after even a brief day dedicated to something else. Best I've been able to do is squeeze it all in on my off days, which isn't all that often. I've been wondering if I have ADHD, I'm getting myself tested here soon. If I can get help for this, than hopefully I can get more done. Maybe that might explain the Feast-or-Famine cycles this page tends to go through.
But anyways, new year new me I guess. I'm going to catch up on uploading, there's a lot on Patreon that I just haven't gotten around to posting publicly, including the rest of that CotL comic. I'm still doing my best.

updates 'n stuff
Posted 2 years agoHiya! Figured I'd give an update what's coming up and where I've been the past summer.
Hypnokit 3: The Tempted is currently being sketched. Pages will be produced and uploaded to Patreon soon. Also, I am starting a new serialized comic called "Cunt of the Lamb". This is an NSFW fan comic of Cult of the Lamb. It will not follow the normal comic schedule, and pages will just be released when they are done. These pages take me a bit less time to make, so it's more of just a fun side thing for me. Production of this comic will not interfere with the normal comic's release.
I've also come to terms that I need to abandon the release quota of 3-4 pages a week. I've realized that it has caused me to really rush my work, to the point where I'm really not happy with how the last comic turned out. So, pages will just be done when they're done, and I'll take as much time as needed to get each page done. (They'll be released on Patreon a month early as per usual)
I've been away for a number of reasons. The main reason was that my work needed me to work more hours over the summer, and it really took a lot out of me. The other reason I've been away is that I've been dealing with some personal family stuff; hard stuff that has made my mental health problems relapse a bit.

February : For the remainder of the month, I will post the art and mini comics I've had on the backburner, if you are a Patron, you've probably already seen them on that site. Right now, I am working on the pre-planning, sketching, and scripting for the next comic. This one will be 30 pages. Also I've still got commission slots open if you want to get one.
March: Liquor Witch 3: Burning Passion will start having pages drawn at the normal rate, and will be available just for Patrons this month. Also, a physical copy of The Adder's Alter V.2 should be available to buy sometime this month. Purchases made within the first 24 hours will get a special discount!
April: The next Liquor Witch comic will start releasing to the public this month. Also, from April 23rd through May 7th, I will be away because we'll be moving. (That means there won't be any uploads, and any commission or merchandise sales will not be fulfilled until after May 7th.

Posted 2 years agoI will be opening slots in February for commissions. On top of that, I will now accept N64 games, consoles, accessories, and official controllers as payment for commissions!
Here is a list of my current collection!
The rules are as follows:
-The commission will start after the game has been received
-The value of the commission will be equal to the loose value of the game as indicated on PriceCharting (or average price on ebay if it's not available on price charting) The condition of the game does not matter as long as the front label is legible and the game works. (The value may be higher if you have a boxed or sealed copy)
-All standard commission rules regarding content still apply
-I will reimburse the shipping cost of the package after the commission is completed if you can prove ahead of time that the game works and is not a bootleg (see below)
-North American versions are preferred, but PAL is also acceptable
-Non-Japanese games MUST be in English
-Packaging is not required, unless it is a Japanese copy of the game. I would like Japanese games to be included with a box
-If I receive the game and realize it does not turn on or it is a bootleg, 50% of the commission value will be deducted.
-If the commission falls through before it has been completed, the game will be returned (Whoever quits on the commission first will be the one to pay for shipping)
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SHIPMENT
-Take a picture of the front of the cartridge with a piece of paper with your Fur Affinity or Discord user name on it (Whatever we're using as a form of contact at the time)
-To qualify for reimbursed shipping, first take a picture of the back of the cartridge with the piece of paper. I need to see the Nintendo logo that's etched onto the top of the game. Also, if the back label is still in tact and not covered up, angle the game into the light so that the number punched into the label is visible. Lastly, put the game into your N64 system and power it on. Take a picture of your TV screen when the game is on the title screen, and include that piece of paper somewhere in the shot.
-Once the pictures have been approved, ship the game to the address I will provide (standard rate shipping) and take a picture of the receipt with the tracking number. Make sure the price paid is also visible if you want shipping reimbursement
-I will notify you when I have received the game, and I will fit you into the commission schedule within one week of receiving it. (Unless something comes up for me personally)

-Today is the last day I'm posting before the year ends. The comic will return on January 5th.
-My Patreon Page has comic pages up to page 30. Pages 31-36 will be published on there sometime in January. (I wanted to finish the comic before the end of the year, but that's just not happening now)
-Physical comics are still for sale on my website, but any orders received from now until the end of the year will not be processed until January 1st.
-Liquor Witch V.03: Burning Passion will begin pre-production in late January, and pages will start being uploaded to Patreon in February. Publically, there will likely be a month long break in pages between the end of Petty Payback and the start of Burning Passion.
Also, I'll make a banner image for my page...eventually... I just haven't gotten around to it lol.

Liquor Witch V.01: Potion Presentation will be released to the public through the month of September. This is a re-release of Play Bunny and Happy Hex, and includes new art and a new ending. (Small Stuff is now Volume 2) Two pages will be released per day, Tuesday through Saturday. However you can read the entire thing early by either joining my Patreon or by Pre-ordering a physical copy of the comic on my website (expected to ship sometime in the middle of September).
The Adder's Alter V.02: Petty Payback will start production this month as well, and will be produced at a rate of three pages per week. Patrons will get to read the comic starting this month, and it will be released to the public starting in October.
Lastly, I've been building an online store! It's not completely done yet, but comics and adult prints are available now for purchase. If you'd like to buy physical copies of the comics, you can do so here: https://roxyfoxycomics.com/printed-comics

I Will Be Selling at Denfur!
Posted 3 years agoHi everyone! I wanted to let y'all know that I will be selling art prints, knickknacks, and (hopefully) printed comics at Denfur this month! We have a table at the dealer's den, as well as a wall at the art show where some shadowboxes will be for sale. If you're in the area, I'd love to see you! It'll be August 19th-21st.
I'm also planning to have the Etsy store ready this month. (I know I keep saying that, I'll get it this time)
That being said, with how busy I'll be getting ready, I have to close commissions until the 23rd and cancel the planned YCH auction this month.
