Since our last journal update, we have had eight new members! The first was Prince Tommy, Prince of the Yasuhiro Empire, a neighbor to Prince Victor. After him was Lord Grimm Blue of Lunatitania, an ally of Queen Ani. Followed by Kyle Andolina, Sovereign of the Ten Villages of Arcania. After him was Xavier Ramone Moonrose, Leader of the Moonrose Clan. After him came the Pirate King of the Pacific and First of His Name, whatever that name may be. And our last three members came within the last week! First was the Queen of the Lost and Forgotten. Then Scoruge, Prince of the Stars. And finally, Shambour, Living Goddess of Arcadia and a lynx queen!

Firstly, I would like to apologize for the hiatus! It has apparently been four months since our last update! Since then, we've had at least seven new members join us! We begin our recap with Princess Singularity of Esparxia, who is also a brony! She certainly won't be alone among the rest of you! We also have Lord Maune, who is the father of Queen Ani of Wolves! We also have Lady Odysia Mirth of Somerset! Next, we have Lord Vimless, the self proclaimed "Lord of Furryboard of Funnyjunk" ... I'm not entirely sure what that means. After Lord Vimless, we have Prince Rhys Toraz, 3rd Prince of Tora Urufu, who is also known as the Prince of Blood and Shadows! Very ominous, but we like ominousness! Next we have the exiled Princess Junior, who may be an exile but is still welcome to those who have not forgotten how to be royal! And finally, our newest member, Emperor Eyegrim, Ruler of Erathia!

And now that we've gotten that out of the way, we have heard that the Queen of the Absurdum has made a return to Fur Affinity. As for new members, may we be pleased to introduce King Victor Vincent Cabella of Hellven, who has graciously given us a picture of his fursona, the lovely hybrid goddess Queen Räiý of Paramyth, Prince Vaxis of Draq'nara, who also offered his picture to our gallery, and we may need to be corrected for this, but I believe we also have Ulfric, King of Wolves added to our group. I do so apologize for this group's hiatus. I checked it as having been two months since our last journal. My apologies, but I have been quite busy.

But enough about that. I write to you today to bring two orders of business to your attention.

Firstly, I have noticed at least two people have posted shout comments linking us to beautifully done artwork of their royal personae. My first instinct was to add these pieces to the group's favorites, but I then remembered that I had asked people to post links in shout comments if they wanted their pieces featured in our submissions gallery. I, however, forgot to ask for whoever would like us to do this to say so in the shout comments as well. I would never feel comfortable posting someone else's artwork in our gallery without their written permission. So, in future, if you would like us to place your linked artwork in our gallery, please let us know in the comment section. Thank you.

Secondly, since our last journal, we have gained five new members. Or perhaps four, as one of these new members is merely an alternative account to someone who is already a member. Ordinarily, I wouldn't agree to this, but as I have not yet specified so in our profile information, I shall allow it this time. Our first new member is the genderfluid Prince(ss) of Rats and his/her alternative account Princess Cookie of the Sun Bears. We would also like to welcome Malek Lukos, the reluctant God-King of the Lueth. We also bring Porter, Queen of the Dancing Corgis into our group, though we believe she prefers to be called Queen P. And finally, we bid welcome to Connor, Crown Prince of Ticon and Archduke of Florida.

It is always a great thing to see that we have gotten new members. Last night, we checked our shoutbox to find five new members, and this morning we found six. We are overjoyed!

Our first new member is the Prince Consort to the Assassin King. We would like to emphasize that princes and princesses consort are always welcome among our numbers. A royal by association is still a royal.

Our next new members are The Original Queen of the Big Cats, Queen Serina of Lions, Xexus the Silver, the Dragon Prince, Satin Heart, Queen of Amor, and Marco Blackwolf, King of Wolves.

Also, the Queen of the Absurdum has posted a journal concerning the topic of individuals in the furry fandom who call themselves popufurs, and he has asked us to share what he has had to say with the rest of you.

To my friends and watchers,

It has come to my attention that there are many, many, many furries out there who wear the title of "popufur" with pride. Usually, these people are ... actually very horrible people. They're popular for the same reason stuck up bitches and prigs in high school were popular. They're obnoxious douchebags who talk about people behind their backs and it's almost always easier to get into their beds than it is to get into a church on Sunday morning. These people don't deserve any attention from any people at any time.

There are, however, certain popular individuals in the fandom who actually deserve their popularity. People who work hard at what they do and reap the benefits of people who enjoy what they do and don't ever dare let them stop. People like Uncle Kage or 2 the Ranting Gryphon. Or if you think those two are too obvious, people like Blotch or Syber at MadeFurYou. These people are certainly "popufur", but I don't consider them to be popufurs. I would never dare group them with those prom king and queen rejects.

My friend DJ Wicked Wolf and I decided to come up with a whole new term to differentiate the popufurs who don't deserve attention from anyone from those who actually HAVE a human soul. And the word we came up with is "furlebrity."

Now we can, with ease, say that popufurs are awful wretches who are going to die alone without worrying about including furlebrities who actually deserve the praise they're getting.

And if someone out there says a furlebrity doesn't deserve attention either, the person who's saying it is probably a popufur!

I write to you now to inform you of this group's purpose. The Royal Furries group, as the name would suggest, is for furries with royal fursonas. Kings, queens, emperors, empresses, princes, princesses, and the like. But do not think for one second that we will not accept membership from anyone. Members of nobility, such as counts, earls, barons, marquesses, viscounts, etc., are also allowed to join.

We are also open to multicultural royalty as well. Such as pharoahs, maharajahs, shahs, sultans, tsars, doges, viziers, and the ilk. Royalty has existed for centuries in countries from all over the world, and we wish to welcome all who fit the theme of the group.

We do plan on introducing featured artists, but in order to do that, we need art to feature. If you wish to submit an art piece that you want us to share in our submissions gallery, you may post a link in our shout comments or in a personal message. If you wish to submit someone else's work in our gallery, be sure to get the artists' permission first.

With all the formalities out of the way, it is now my duty to inform all of you of our new members! From the animal kingdom is the Wolf King who is also a pharoah. We also have the King of Tritonis and the King of Cyls. Welcome, Your Majesties! We hope you enjoy yourselves here!
