You see, I finally settled with the idea of leaving California for good. The planned leaving date will be easter monday. But I will make sure I finish up the special marker commission before the end of next week.

This means i will be unable to work on commissions for a good portion of the week. I will be accepting orders, but the prices will be the same just in case the computer repair prices are bigger than expected. I will set up the policy on the sumo discount. It will remain as a 15% off thing, but there is a qualification for it to count.

Batch 13 finished, updates, and discussions

or was finished a week ago while I took a break. Though during my break. I have been thinking about making some price changes. As of now, I am under-employed, which means I work part time, which also means income. However, I have been thinking about changing up my prices, specificly lowering it thanks to my income. But there is one thing I have been concerned with. The iconic sumo discount.
Basically whenever you order something sumo related, you get a 15% discount. It does knock prices for my customers, but I feel that I may be too generous with them and allowing the policy to be loosely applied. my initial idea is to ultimately remove the discount, or at least setting up a specific prerequisit to make the commission eligable for a discount.
While the adjustment/removal does help balance out the issue I have with the possible new prices, I do worry about how my customers will react. And I put customers first before profits.
I need to ask you guys. before I announce the opening of batch 14, should I keep the discount, adjust it, or remove it?

Later down the line, I will have to try and set up a schedule for myself, saving time for drawing and giving myself a weekend. But this got me thinking: If FA falls for good, where else could I be found? Maybe DA but I left since the place fell soooo far from it's glory days and resembles the cool kid you knew from highschool that fell down real hard.

General | Posted a year agoSo I have been sleeping on this idea for some time. What if I open up a Patreon for you guys to subscribe to? I know patreon has an infamous reputation for turning people to the horny side, but I won't let that happen to me and money is tight. The tiers I plan on opening will allow you guys to get a full scope of what I am drafting up as well as an inside scoop of how I draw. I could try patreon requests, but I would rather avoid making promises I cannot keep. Commissions are already something I am struggling to nail down in terms of motivation.
Maybe it would be best if I just have one tier and give you guys a glimpse of what I am cooking.

A community site that brought us furries together and introduced new members to the community. Though years of trial and error, Dragoneer and his team did all they could to improve the site while navigating financial and technological perils.
Unfortunately, Dragoneer lost his fight in the aftermath of his surgery. Akira Toriyama is an absolute legend in Manga, Anime, and even video games. He is well known for his designs in Chrono Trigger, Blue Dragon, and Dragon Quest. But none had the same impact as his life's work. The Dragon Ball Series. It was a gateway that influenced many of our adolescents years and grew with us years down the line. I have been absent from the Dragon Ball sphere for some time. But after hearing Toriyama's passing, I wish I appreciated his works more. I won't lie, Dragon Ball has an impact on me from a young age. So for a new year's resolution, I plan on catching up on the Dragon Ball series and maybe trying Dragon Quest some day.

This may be the maximum slots I will have at a time from this point on thanks to the encroaching mid semester classes, and I don't want to fall back on bad habits.

Now that I am on the Final item on the batch 6 commission, I am going to say it right here. The moral of the story: Never bite off more than I can chew. I am not gonna open 30 slots like that ever again should anything happen. I am gonna keep it short and sweet like I did before.
Now that I am almost free from my stupid mistake, I going to open up batch 7 but instead opening up to about 4 slots.
The rules of applying for a commission is the same as it always has been.
I accept paypal only, but I may branch out to square as suggested by
Taebear but for now, I am just gonna stick with Paypal, even if it is still a mess at the time of writing.
