I'M PREGNANT!
General | Posted 12 years agoOkay, today I found out I was pregnant and I'm so happy! My Husband and I are extremely excited!
This is how my day started!
I woke up fine, alright, nothing wrong at all with me! I went outside to have a morning cigarette as I always do every morning and today I couldn't even light it up because I was over the railing throwing up...I went up and told my husband and he's like, "Well it may be the cold getting to you or you may be getting sick..." I'm like, "Maybe but just for safe measures I want to get a pregnancy test to see if it's me actually pregnant, since I haven't had a period in two months..." He agreed and I called my step dad, because we are broke until friday when my husband get's paid, and I asked him if he could get us a pregnancy test so I could just ween that out. Well, he came over soon after I called and brought me to Rite Aid and we got a Rite Aid Pregnancy test.
When I got home, I tried the first one, it didn't read anything because I don't think I did the first one right...So I did the next one about an hour later and I didn't even get to put it down because it read the test within a second flat i swear! It came out positive and I'm like wahhh? And I showed my husband and my brother in law came out and tried to tell me that "He's been with so many girls and he knows that it may not be true..." But I talked to my aunt and cousin and they both said that there is no such thing as a false positive...
So, after I found out, I called the doctor's office and got in 20 minutes later and I brought the test I took with me and showed it to her. She told me the same thing, that there is no such thing as a false positive...She then told me that I have to stop taking the medicine I'm on for my bi polar, depression and ADHD until I talk to my other doctors about what I can take with my pregnancy.
She also told me that I would have to take these chewable pre-naitals and then get my insurance back, because i recently lost it, and then I would have to go to an OBGYN so I can get the information to send in to Social Services so I can get other help with wick, food stamps, cash assistance, and other stuff...
I'm just so happy that my husband's and my wish has finally came true! I guess their right...when you're not even expecting it and not trying, that's when you get pregnant!
If my mom was still alive she would be so happy right now, she would have been the best grandmother ever! She loved kids and loved me and my husband to no end!
