Picarto must be having a seizure or something, my internet is fine yet I'm getting disconnected constantly and my stream looked more like a slideshow.

Another note, Sai started doing this weird shit during my short lived stream and its getting annoying. I pick a color, and randomly while coloring, the shade will darken or lighten for no apparent reason, without me even touching it, making my coloring look splotchy. Also sometimes, I pick a color, and then darken or lighten it, and it stays the same shade, doesn't change. Anybody know what's up with that? My Sai has never done that before.

I've been thinking about doing them for a long time but I've always been undecided. The reasons I haven't offered any is because for the most part, not many people join my streams, usually I get anywhere from 2-5 people in there, and its mostly friends and a few stream regulars.

Another reason is I don't like streaming unless I have something to work on, I don't like fumbling around sketching stuff, deleting stuff, sketching more stuff. I like to do my sketches on my own for the most part, clean them up and correct mistakes before I start lining. Also why when I did sketch requests I'd frequently ask people for what types of poses they had in mind, I just feel stressed out when the people in the stream might be staring at nothing or me trying to get a pose right.

Anyway, what are your thoughts?

I've been busy with classes and I'm preparing for a vacation with my family, I'm leaving this saturday and I'll be away for a week.

Once I come back there's tons of stuff I need to work on :')

So yesterday around 2:30-3:00ish pm a fire erupted at a power plant that supplies electricity to the entire population of Puerto Rico, 3.5 million people had no power in their homes. The public train stopped, traffic lights shut off, university classes cancelled, massive traffic jams, complete total shut down.

Power today is slowly returning but I've heard so far 1.5 million people are still without power. I still have friends who have had their lights off since yesterday, some have been luckier and had their power restored, others are getting power back only to lose it again. Electric bills are already way more expensive here than the mainland US due to the debt crisis the island finds itself in and now this shit happens.

Puerto Rico has been spiraling downward for years and no one in the US really seems to care all that much.

 CocoFox has been missing since August 27th.
He was last seen at an airport in Marseille France, due to board a flight back to Montreal Quebec. His parents would be the last to have seen him as they dropped him off there.
As far as we are aware, he never made it on that flight and no one has seen or heard from him since, myself included who had talked to him around 9:30 am that day.
His family is aware and they have called their local (France) authorities who are on the case at the moment. I simply am trying to get more exposure and spread the message far and wide to see if ANYONE has any news.

He does not like his real name to be public and I will respect that, HOWEVER...if you want his real name and/or photo's to help spread the word please private message me and I will give you more information

My best friend had his account hacked today, the second of my friends to have their accounts hacked this year. I'm just going to copy and paste a post I made elsewhere.

I really would like some help and advice to help a friend of mine out, because he could really use it.

My best friend had his PSN account hacked today, and the hacker changed his e-mail address. My friend contacted Sony and they pretty much told him there was nothing he could do. They told him there were 3 ways for him to reclaim his account. 1. Obvious email recovery, but the hacker changed the email account so that's out. 2. Use the credit card info to reclaim it, but he didn't have a credit card linked to his account, he had a paypal (from which the hacker drained 70$ from his bank account before my friend closed it) and they can't use that apparently. 3. Use the serial code on the original console he registered with, which he no longer has because that was a PS3 he had about 8 years ago, which he no longer has.

He lost 8 years worth of trophies, online friends, and digital purchases, and Sony told him the hacker got away with it.

He's lost all the content he'd ever bought in the last 8 years, he's lost all his progress on
Destiny, Warframe, Overwatch, everything is gone.

So what I'm asking is if there's anything we can do, because I've been playing with this guy for as long as I've had a PSN account, we went to high school and college together. So are we really out of options? Is there absolutely nothing anyone can do?

Uber has finally come to Puerto Rico and it hasn't received the warmest welcome. A guy dropping his friend off at the airport had his driver side mirror and window smashed because some taxi drivers thought he was an Uber driver, which he wasn't. An actual Uber driver had rocks thrown at his car, and he was being yelled at to get out of his car by a group taxi drivers while he had a passenger, the police had to get involved in both cases obviously.

When things are as bad as they are in Puerto Rico, things being overpriced everywhere you go, including Taxis, can anyone really blame people for wanting to use Uber? A lot of people right now have negative opinions about Taxi drivers, not just about how expensive a taxi can be, but because of the violent, criminal behavior some are exhibiting. I know not all are like that but the actions of a few bad apples doing shit like this reflects badly on everyone else.

Also Pokemon Go doesn't work here.

I'm writing this just to give myself something to do at the moment. I have really bad anxiety, I used to be on meds for it, as well as anti-depressants. I worked with my doctor to get off them. I hate how the anxiety controls my life everywhere I go.

I was bullied a lot during my school years, from elementary, all the way to high school. From everything from my appearance, to the music I listen to, and my personality. I failed the 7th grade because I never asked teachers for help with things I didn't understand, a lot of my tests were handed back blank. I took special courses the following year so I wouldn't have to repeat the 7th grade. I had a panic attack during my math final in senior year of high school, the teacher took the test away and the school nurse walked me out of the classroom. 5 of my 10 fingers are without nails, I bite them compulsively.

Right now, I'm sitting in a computer lab during a class writing this, reliving 7th grade. I don't dare ask the professor for help, the people around me continue working on their projects, meanwhile I just sit here doing fuck all. I've alway put a lot of weight into what people think of me, even though I know I shouldn't do that, but for me that's easier said than done. I hate thinking of what other people might think of me if they saw I was struggling. I asked a professor for help once in a class a couple of years ago, his response after he helped me? "You should know this by now". My expectations of myself are too high. Sometimes I can't leave the house because of the thought of what MIGHT happen.

I just don't know what to do anymore. I'll be going back to my psychiatrist I guess but I feel like it can't be helped. There are so many things I want to do with my life but I can't because I over think, worst case scenarios in my head, what if I fail? What will people think? Fuck this, fuck all of it. I can't function in society like this. I actively avoid people at all times, I don't ask for help when I need it.

I just hate living like this, avoiding people, biting my nails until they bleed, not being able to do the things I want to do because I self sabotage myself. I'm still siting in front of a Mac's screensaver while other people are moving on with their lives, and I'm staying behind.

Today was not a good day for me, I almost had a panic attack in my class tonight. Afterwards I felt depressed. I got my mind off my problems, probably not in the best way though. I've been following some news more closely than I ever have before, particularly the presidential election.

I'm not gonna tell people who to vote for, or what my political beliefs are. You do you, you support whoever or whatever you want. However, I don't think I've ever seen people in America be this divided. I don't know if it's always been that way, or if I've just become more aware of it in recent years.

I live in Puerto Rico. I remember visiting the US, and how friendly people over there were, and whenever I met American tourists on the island, they are friendly people. I wanted to live on the mainland.These days though, I'm not exactly proud to call myself an American. People are more intolerant than I've ever seen them, there's a new mass shooting every week. Puerto Rico is in probably the worst economic crisis it has ever been in. I dare say I don't want to live in this country. Hatred and fear are blinding people. Greed and corruption appear rampant.

I remember the day 9/11 happened, I don't remember much, I was 8 years old. I remember seeing the towers on TV. I also remember something else, people uniting. I remember that week, in my small elementary school. The principal and the teachers gathered all the students outside, and we all prayed. We prayed for everyone stricken by tragedy.

People right now are praying for the tragedy in Orlando, Florida. But I'm also seeing stories of people celebrating the tragedy, not just extremist organizations overseas, people in this country. I find that absolutey disgusting. That some people would celebrate loss of innocent life like that.

The world is fucked up, I've known that for most of my life, I've just become more aware of it recently.

But I know there are still genuinely good people out there. I'm not a religious person, but I still believe in God, I was raised Catholic. I still have faith in people. While I'm still kinda pessimistic, there's that part of me that knows people will end up surprising me and do something amazing. The news is over flooded with negative stories about bigotry, corruption, and mass shootings. But I still find stories of people helping each other. Despite all the negativity, there is still some hope, as cheesy as it sounds.

Also I'm going to start charging for sketches, those who watch me may know that I regularly do streams where you can request sketches for free. I started doing those in July 2015, and since then I've reached almost 200 sketches done, 182 or so. I'll keep doing the request streams until I hit 200 sketches. If you want a sketch while I'm not doing a stream, or if I haven't chosen your character in a stream before, I will charge for it. Once I hit 200 sketches done, I'm afraid that'll be the end of sketch requests for now.

So  sootsprite and I were chatting about possible ways for me to make money. To be perfectly honest with you guys, I'm terrible at handling commissions. Drawing isn't a job for me, it's a hobby, something I do for fun. I always take too long with commissions, I procrastinate a lot. Having a commission adds pressure to drawing, which makes me sort of put it off. I always finish them at least. So she had the idea of doing commissions in my streams.

I've been drawing A LOT of free sketches in my request streams, and she suggested charging a price to take the sketch to the next step, lines, flats and shades. I want to know your thoughts on this. I know there are people out there who might want me to finish a sketch I did for them. The initial sketch would be free but you could take it further if you wanted to. So what's your opinion on this? What would be a fair price to go from sketch to lines, to flats, and finally shade? Or should I do something simpler? Like just charging a small amount to color the sketch and thats it? Please leave you thoughts below. :)

Also, any suggestions for what to do for when I reach 1,000 watchers? I'm 5 watchers away from 1k and want to know your thoughts. I'd like to do a raffle but I don't know how to do one :')

Due to aforementioned family problems (we're improving though, all is going well) and due to some personal anxiety issues that arose from said family problems, I don't know if I'll be able to draw for a while.

So thanks for understanding, hope to be able to come back to drawing soon, hopefully I can draw a little this weekend or over the coming week, but like I said, I don't know if I'll be able to.

I need to get this out because I don't want to bottle it up or anything. I have had a HELL of a last couple days. To those who were in my stream yesterday, I had a rough day yesterday, and I just had a rougher one.

Without going into too much detail, basically in two days, two different close family members have been hospitalized. The first one yesterday was an ordeal but it was ultimately nothing too serious, they'll spend a week at most in the hospital and they're going to be fine. I spent hours at the hospital yesterday.

Today, someone else in my inmediate family had to be hospitalized for a serious ailment, 9-1-1 had to be called, I was there with police officers and paramedics. A few other family members and neighbors were there. We followed the ambulance but we couldn't keep up (the drivers of Puerto Rico are serious assholes). We still got to the hospital, where I spent several nerve wracking hours with my family, choking back tears at certain points, and comforting relatives who were crying.

Anyway, my family member responded to medication and is slowly improving, but there's still a long way to recovery. During this ordeal I kept getting flashbacks of my grandfather who passed away almost 2 years ago, I was so afraid of going to another funeral, afraid of losing another loved one.

I'm sitting at home now, writing this. Trying to breathe deep, stay calm, and relax. We're dealing with it as best we can, and I hope and pray this story has a happy ending.
