Thursday-Sunday (whether or not I be there during the evening Fri/Sat will be dependent on my work schedule)

Nobody. I'll most likely just go home after each night.

Definitely try to chill with & as well as others from the Tuesday meets, but also definitely looking for anyone who wants to hang or grab something to eat.

I have none. Currently in the works of getting one, but that's for a later story.

Since I'm shorter than mostly everybody, that may be hard. I'll post updates on Twitter. Other than that, I'll have a black hat with the Sirius Radio dog on it. Might wear my blue Yoshi bag and have my SLR with me. If you see me, and know it's me you can yell out RUUUUUUUUBBBBBY!

Will you be at the bowling event Thursday night?

This will be my first con I didn't just stumble upon. There's a few that I know are going I really want to meet as well as those I see at the Tuesday meets. I'm really nervous and excited at the same time. This is all new to me and I know that nothing others have told me about cons can match the experience and fun I would have. I'm sure I'll have a blast, hanging with friends, making new ones, and taking pictures of many fuzzies!

Ok, so I made a promise last night at the meet, in anticipation of getting a suit made, that when I attend my first con outside of Orlando (possibly FWA 2014), I would share a bottle of JW Blue Label with those who room with me.

Why would I do this? I've only attended the Tuesday meet twice now, and I've never felt so comfortable with a group of people ever in my life, and so quickly too. It's so cool when we act all silly together, especially when you bring out the old lady voices. Or when we talk about real stuff. As long as everything goes as planned for me, I'll be joining the suiting as well soon.

If we end up rooming, don't be afraid to hold it to me. I'm pretty good with keeping my word.

I went to the Orlando Tuesday meet for the first time last night. It was such a great time heading out there and meeting local area furs. It was fun seeing a lot of them welcome me with open arms and watching a few suit up when we got to the bar. It did help that they really seem to take a liking to the shirt I wore. It'll take me awhile to put names on faces, but I do plan on going every week I can.

So after watching from afar, I have finally decided to open my own account here. Why did it take me until the age of 23 for me to finally let myself into the fandom when I've been following it since I was about 15? Don't know, and now, I don't care. All that matters is that I'm finally in. I've always had a fascination of being able to put on a costume and running around in an attempt to bring joy to others since the time I went to my first Orlando Magic game when I was about 5. Even though it was the NBA Finals, instead of watching the game, I tried to see where the team mascot was. To this day, I judge a sports team by their mascot.



I guess if I had to pick a reason as to why now, it might be because I now know that there are others in the fandom in my vicinity. Most of the furs I've chatted with online lived in Europe, so it never really crossed my mind that there were furs here in Florida; in Orlando no less. A few days ago, I found out that there was a weekly meet that  IzzyWolfram here in the area and since I've been here, I've had a pleasant welcome from a few furs. Knowing that has given me a whole new level of excitement for being able to share a common interest with others and create new friendships. I was one of the least social people when I was in school, worse when I got to college. I hang with work buddies sometimes, but you can only do so much before you get sick of each other.



The first name you'll see on any of my forms of government ID is [Name and Address withheld], but for now, my fursona name will be Ruby Canine since Ruby was the first name I thought of when I created my FB account with the mascot/furry friend stack and Canine since that's the species I want my furry to be. (Got it down to husky, wolf, fox or any combo above). Whether or not I'll change the name will be determined once I finalized what my furry will look like. I would like to own fursuit before I turn 25, so I have about a year and a half to gather the funds. That's what two jobs are for, right? That and buying a house? (Another one of my goals)

As far as artistic side, there's a reason why I excelled in math, science & electronic gadgetry; I had none, except maybe that one semester in high school when I was forced to take an art class. I will say that I take some pretty decent photos whenever I went to hockey games.
